Must be the worst ever display by two goalkeepers in one game. Steel has to have his chance as Pants is not up to it and will cost us more points if he remains COYR.

I watched Nketiah a few times on Sky last season mate. Good player who is only 25 and should get better. Quick and good finisher. Mind you, it will be a big change playing for a team with around half the possesion stats of Arsenal. To counter balance this though he will have 2 quick wingers and MGW supplying him, counter attacking team at pace might suit him ……
As for the wages, quality strikers don’t come cheap. If the recruitment team does its due process and he gets us 20 goals this season and keeps us up it will be a brilliant investment imo. Certainly we can’t keep relying on Woody who’s in the twilight of his career or Anoniyi with his injuries. Gives us options ….

So brentford have an unreal7stic price on him, so negotiations will be ongoing with a few parties until a deal is done and brentford will end up taking what they can get
Arsenal have already seen marsielle pull out of signing nketiah due to the asking price, a lot won't happen till the last day of the window due to all those things

I made a point of watching woods last Saturday, a proper poacher’s goal. But apart from that he didn’t do much else and at times looked a little lost, and was caught out be the counterattack. A young quick sf is a must. No point having two quick wingers if the sf is behind you, there only options are hold the ball and wait letting the defenders get back, or cutting inside and having a shot. Opponents will soon suss that one out. So let's dig deep and splash the cash.

Re. reports of potentially re signing Navas, much as I respect this player and all that he has done in the game, I cannot agree that a 37 year old, on as rumoured £180k wages would be no more than a sticking plaster solution to our goalkeeping problem. We surely should be looking at a long term solution if we have that sort of money available. There are several worthy candidates that could be recruited instead.

Can't help feeling sorry for Ethan Horvath, now he is out on a limb after squad 25 chosen. True he is not in contention for a first team spot but when called on he has been there. He was spectacularly shat on after helping Luton get promoted and he really does deserve to get a club, he is a good professional but seems to need to become more of a person in the assertive stakes. Best wishes lad and hope you get the break you deserve.

Why on earth do we need Joe Lumley? He is not a better goalkeeper than Jordan Smith and he has not been able to hold down the regular first team spot at his previous clubs Totally unnecessary spending with our three senior keepers and several promising youngsters. let's focus on our main requirements for now.

Remember when, we bought a top class keeper called Shilton to form a solid reliable base to our talented side. What we then went on to achieve under Mr Clough. Please do not skimp, invest in the best, go get Ramsdale.

Totally agree guys, we need a keeper who can instil confidence, both of our first choice keepers fall short especially on footwork and distribution. Brice Samba was probably one of the best in that department, so we've been spoiled with him setting the bar. De Gea, Ramsdale, Jonstone any top drawer player that is up to premier standard urgently required to beef up our shaky back line ASAP,
