If grabban goes in January, possible replacement in shankland who we have been interested in. Personally think he would be a good addition if he is not overpriced. Not sure of others would be available in jan to replace grabban?

Remember Cummings? He was scoring goals regular in the Scottish Championship until he played in a decent league with a decent standard of football. The Scottish Championship is English League Two standard at best.

2.) 17 Nov 2020 20:39:16
Remember warbo wanting McGinn?
Mckenna is looking a good signing and judging by the Scottish national team things are getting better with Scottish football.
One thing when you buy from Scotland it doesn't break the bank so if it doesn't work out it hasn't cost millions.

3.) 18 Nov 2020 02:21:13
Personally I don't think it matters what league the players come from it's down to the player how hungry they are and if they are willing to put the graft in.

4.) 18 Nov 2020 09:47:17
To mention 2 players that came all the way from non league to shine in a forest shirt, gary birtles and gary crosby. I agree its not the man in the fight but the fight in the man. If any manager can get a performance from a lower league player Hughtons the nan.

5.) 18 Nov 2020 12:19:27
I don't think you can sign Shankland as a replacement for Grabban. That would be too risky as Shankland is unproven. You're only going to replace Grabban with another proven Championship striker.

6.) 18 Nov 2020 18:08:43
Who is there available at the moment who would come as backup to Taylor for little money? Shankland is a far better prospect than Cummings as he has more to his game as he can play out wide as well as through the middle. He would be a suitable player to push Taylor and maybe even can play alongside, think it is worth a shot if not overpriced.

Grabban?
Im a goalscorer, get me out of here as they haven't seen one at forest for years. 😁😁.

Expect a tight game tonight, hopefully grabban if he picked which I don't think he should be personally but hopefully he will get back to being grab-one and a 2-0 victory to the reds will be great, I would take 7 points from the 3 games as a very good start for the manager. Though I do think if forest win another derby day sacking could be on the cards as Mel has given his support to coco this week and we know exactly what that means in football!

Oumar Gonzales looks like forest trying to do some early transfer business, looks like a good deal to me, ideal cover for worrall/ figs won't cost a great deal and young and ambitious hopefully another lower league gem.

If he signs it’s because we’re are planning to sell Worrall.

2.) 12 Jul 2020 18:50:02
I think not, but Dawson won't play much next year and Benalouane and Hefele will be moved on soon, so we need a good centre back.

Who would take Grosiski over Knockeart in January? Or would you want both or neither?

montyred

1.) 04 Dec 2020 12:54:33
Neither play Swann and Mighten no more journeymen for god's sake.

2.) 04 Dec 2020 13:24:29
I agree let’s save money and give youth a chance.

What a stupid challenge from Colback, he has done nothing all game then basically has killed the game for us. Never wanted him back as I think he is a limited player.

Lamouchi lost the players backing last year, I noticed it with silva he was becoming the lynch pin of the way we played for and playing quite well For some reason lamouchi dropped him to the bench, then the virus hit and he never seemed the same player, now bombed out this year. Having a bomb squad is also not good for confidence. Things are not right at the club from the top to the bottom. You get someone of Chris Cohen dedication wanting to leave as no options for him then that tells you something. The chairman has he gone into permanent isolation? When the going gets tough you need leaders. We don't seem to have any, get Dawson back on the field with McKenna. Football is very much about playing to your strengths, confidence and enjoy playing, take that away and you won't get good performances and results.

Monty Silva had his appendix removed that’s why he was dropped.

To score goals you need to have some flair players win have been signing defence minded players for the last two years? So even billy would not get this squad playing attacking football.

Easily best performance octane season by us. Follow up with a win vs boro and we drag a load of teams back into the mix.

Would be a good signing, one of the players I thought we could of got in the summer with Alex mowatt would have made a very good blend in midfield, but we bought in a load of overpaid, past it players. Hope they make it happen, let Preston take colback lol.

Has done ok in the championship as a player, is at the right age where he may get better with more game time, a loan deal only so not a massive gamble, in my opinion a better player than Arter, Freeman, Colback and Cafu that we signed in the summer. A loan with a buy option would be the better deal for us.

I would of at least gave him half a chance as sub for some games couldn’t have done any worse than any of the others have done.

Not needed would make no sense at all to me, even if Worrall was to leave. These are the types of players we should be avoiding if you want to build a team.
