Well Grabbon injured, we were praying he wouldn't, must have put the forest jinx on him, knowing our track record our players seem to get long term injuries when some of the fans suggested our doggy pitch? well this will test our metal Saturday and beyond.

1.) 14 Feb 2020 16:24:56
Grabban is still in the running to be fit for Saturday.

Nuno Da Costa got injured v Crewe U23s so will miss the game.

Might only have Tyler Walker available if Grabban doesn't make it.

2.) 14 Feb 2020 16:47:11
Wonder if the Grabban "injury" is just smoke and mirrors stuff, bit like McGuane?

3.) 14 Feb 2020 21:39:45
Tyler will be fine with cash roberio lolley and ameobi supply him instead of what he got on Tuesday two full backs that didn't have a sprint in them to get forward to cross a ball.

Wasnt Tyler's fault he nearly scored from the two opportunities he had, grabbs missed three against brum and one from ten yards? 🤔.

I’ve said it before some players that are excellent in championship want to get to prem.
But some of those excellent championship players know they can’t cut it in prem. thus will be needing to find another club.
It’s not impossible to think one or two would stop trying because they comfortable in championship being heroes.
And wouldn’t want to move settled family to another team city. Just a thought. because half our team know they not good enough and would need replacing.

5.) 15 Feb 2020 16:04:07
All the Sheffield United team weren't good enough, but hey ho they are making a go of it.

just heard skynews MW and NFFC are being sued by rangers anyone know any details.

south east red

1.) 24 Mar 2017 16:44:37
Rangers saying Warburton and his team engineered move to forest by resigning after king the chairman refused to let them leave without forest paying compensation
And he's had to pay compensation for his new manager
Wouldn't pay too much attention to rangers they taken Mike ashley to court as well
He just wants something for nothing and kings no angel.

2.) 24 Mar 2017 16:47:04
i thought king was just taking legal advice about the situation. there skint after giving warburton too much money to spend so are trying anything to get money. before he resigned his neck was on the line anyway so they have saved themselves money from sacking him.

3.) 24 Mar 2017 16:54:07
Go on BBC home page for rangers he's just giving it the big I am
Saying they can overtake Celtic etc
And he's thinking of taking legal action against Warburton and his staff.

15 Jan 2017 23:06:22
Is that right now Ryan Giggs in the frame?

south east red

1.) 15 Jan 2017 23:36:46
Yes. Fawaz is a great admirer of him Read it on daily mail

2.) 16 Jan 2017 04:02:18
It also states in the same article that JJM tried to drive the price down to a quarter of what they had agreed

3.) 16 Jan 2017 04:51:03
The Daily Mail! that's funny most of what they print is literally pure fabrication

4.) 16 Jan 2017 06:21:16
Your right when it's negative towards fawaz everyone believes it yet if it says something like "jjm tried to lower the price to around £13mill" it's not believable one bit. lol.

5.) 16 Jan 2017 08:16:07
The daily mail lol! Don't tell me an arctic freeze is on its way better asking a cow pat in a field what's happening in the world. They're worse than the sports section of the NEP and that is a really, really, really bald statement !

how about Nigel Clough?

south east red

1.) 06 Oct 2025 18:04:18
Nice guy and Forest legend but yesterday’s man I think ….

2.) 06 Oct 2025 18:12:00
Non-league Nigel. Non-league Nigel.

3.) 06 Oct 2025 18:19:11
Apparently Nigel is not the man to get on the wrong side of.
There’s more to him than the publicity figure.

4.) 06 Oct 2025 19:07:42
He'd probably do a good job.
I wouldn't speak out against a Clough.

5.) 07 Oct 2025 02:55:25
I always thought in my life time, Clough and Crosby would be Forest coach's, but in the Premier they would never get the chance.

14 Sep 2025 14:17:54
next two prem games are must win ones to get us back on track, last thing we want is to be too near the foot because how ever good a side you have its still tough to climb out of even this early in season just look at tottenham and man u last season MGW not his best, maybe still wanted transfer to spurs, Could Mcateer replace him? Whatever we need our confidence back and play again as a unit, good relationship between board, management and players important too. i'm a bit anxious at the moment seen it all before.

1.) 14 Sep 2025 15:04:53
Good post South east.

2.) 14 Sep 2025 16:24:39
I've seen league one and championship football for 20 odd years and we won't be going back there
Talk about doom and gloom and the master of it us back on here ????.

31 Aug 2025 16:40:29
i had a bad feeling about this game before, our team thinking it was 3 pts in the bag, hammers on the back of a stuffing, and our management/ owners not getting along, not good for morale and don't look good for the arsenal trip.

19 Jun 2025 09:13:30
would be nice perhaps if we had Brentford fixture later in season as they may struggle to hold onto Mbeumo, Schade and Wissa (to us) not sure when transfer window opens but they would be a weakened team without them.

south east red

1.) 19 Jun 2025 11:18:15
Brentford and Palace could well have players poached by other teams when we play them, just hope we are not in the same position, and we can keep hold of our vital players.

2.) 19 Jun 2025 13:37:26
Wissa won't be coming here. he will go to Spurs.

3.) 19 Jun 2025 18:07:45
Hardly any chance of any London based players coming up to the shires, to many trappings down there. but on bright side of things it looks like the brittania club is finally going to be flattered. even the great unwashed at the university couldn't get it listed. As the planning committee said it has changed beyond it's original format. wonderful news.

4.) 19 Jun 2025 20:48:47
Nice to know that reds fans think so highly of the Brittania next door. In its history many reds and magpie players and staff frequented the club and many many happy memories were forged within. Having friendships with these players myself it will certainly will be missed.
At the Britt it was not the great unwashed within the club as the members wete trades people, sparkies chippies and the like. Hope the ghosts of bygone eras don't haunt the ground.
I bet stokey remembers the club, and has memories to cherish.

5.) 19 Jun 2025 23:22:59
Tell you something redsocks, it's a decision that needs to be made
Back in the day the nottingham council demolished the best iconic place nottingham had
Drury Hill, now that was iconic, Brittany doesn't even come close to thar and for what? A concrete shopping centre that's been demolished in my lifetime
We either get permission to extend the capacity or we move away
It's that simple abd then west Bridgford becomes less of a place.

6.) 20 Jun 2025 00:12:51
A new boat club has to be built first, in a location they want, or not on brick can be layed for the new stand!.

7.) 20 Jun 2025 00:15:45
I have memories too sedsocks, central market and victoria baths, both served the good people of Nottingham, but it didn't stop the wrecking ball. The britt stays at the cost of the new stand, is that what you want?. Toton is off the table, planning went in for new houses last week.

8.) 20 Jun 2025 05:02:37
It's a pity Nott's don't have a bigger attendance at there ground, we could have ground shared, and got the whole work done in one go at the City Ground. The way it's being done now, the redevelopment could take 4/ 5 years to complete!.

9.) 20 Jun 2025 08:14:07
Nah, call in the Chinese the work will be completed in no time. They are the master builder. although the HS2 project will not be completed before 2035 we could use there expertise. Now there, s a thought.
Nottingham city council broke so any influx of cash is a good head turner, like bying the city ground off the council.
Seen many changes at the city ground since my first visit to the ground in 1951 some for the good, the worst was erecting fencing around the pitch.

10.) 20 Jun 2025 10:54:18
Chinese builders are to busy building them coal fire power stations to make wind turbines to sell to us!. And not forgetting all them social housing projects what's going to be built?. It's a good time to be a craftsman ?.

11.) 20 Jun 2025 21:13:19
Summed up in a nutshell mossy, like Britain the tiny island can make a difference to workd climate
No point us doing anything whilst the Chinese, Indians, Russia and United States along with Brazil just carry on pollution.

18 Jun 2025 12:02:25
Good, a softer start like last season, although Bees never easy but Franks gone now, a good start to season will always lift our tail up and give us confidence be nice to get 7 points from first 3games and pleased our first game is at home.

1.) 18 Jun 2025 15:47:45
No games are easy in the premier. But it's certainly a better start than the fake one that was knocking about earlier in the week.

Highlight for me is getting two home games over the Xmas period. City and Everton.

Looking forward to it?.

2.) 18 Jun 2025 17:20:08
That's two games I'll miss then, never in the country for Xmas, bonus for my mate though.

3.) 18 Jun 2025 19:23:42
Lanz or Fuerte Ff?

4.) 18 Jun 2025 20:08:27
Lanzarotti this year
Went teneriffe last year and fuerto year before gazz
Lanzarotti my favourite.

5.) 18 Jun 2025 20:28:19
Lived and coached semi pro there for 4 years Ff. Lived in Costa Teguise.
Guess you'll be in PDC with all the cerveza louts. Can't fault ya!

6.) 18 Jun 2025 21:50:12
Will you be going to the West Ham bar in the Old Town in PdelC DTP (Fff79)? Always worth a look in? I played the tennis coach at the club on the front in PdelC in 2020 just before the lockdown.

7.) 18 Jun 2025 22:17:53
Been to West ham bar many times rhr
Lovely lady
Go up to tuguese gazz, but a bit windy along with playa blanca
Prefer carmen and stay in matagorda.

8.) 18 Jun 2025 22:35:12
Gazz one of the best Chritmas we ever had was at the Aquarius, a total shite hole if you like food and a nice pool, but we had an apartment right at the very top and it had magnificent views of the harbour
I'd stop there again if it was self catering and guaranteed that room.

9.) 19 Jun 2025 12:03:03
West Ham pub in old town was where all the coaches went for an after training meet up. Mine was an orange juice ofcourse.
