Macheda has signed until the end of the season. Another great bit of wheeling and dealing by Dougie. The negative amongst us will look at his recent goal scoring and say it's a waste of time but it's got to be worth a shot, he and Oliveira seem like a good partnership.

He only has 1 year left on his current contract at Cardiff so depending on how he does, could be a potential signing in the summer. Although I can't imagine his wages are very low.

All these people saying Macheda and Nelson will play together, very much doubt this, Macheda is Nelsons replacement for the rest of the season, Nelson is injured and it is thought that he may have no further part to play this season.

The problem with loan signings is that lack of games and the likelihood of having come back from an injury mean an inability to play day in day out. We will be lucky to get many points before the season ends. I just hope we can get out of the embargo before start of next season otherwise we will be in trouble.

Nelson out rest of the season. Dougie said min 6 weeks but it's season over.

For me jury is out on Macheda. Seen him score some very good goals but is also a player that can go missing in games but surely has to be a better option than O Grady or Blackstock. Big gulf in class today and 0-3 was the least Wednesday deserved could have bit a lot more.

No point moaning about today fully expected it, shame about Mills howler.

Need a few more points 53 should be enough.
