I really hope MW now acknowledges what a very good player Vellios is for Forest. He was shut out last season when he deserved a chance but he showed a good attitude and with five goals already looks excellent. Worries me little when MW is asked about his contribution he tends to then speak about the team rather than the individual. Good player who could come good given the opportunity and save Forest a fortune. COYR.

Thoroughly agree Retford I'm a big fan of Vellious, great attitude, strong, skilful, works hard for the team, good finisher and on fire atm with direct competition from the likes of Murphy and Brereton! I hope Warbo realises what a gem he has on his playing staff!

i really hope vellios gets played aswel but as he brought cummings in himself i have an awful feeling vellios will be behind him unless he gets himself into a position where he can't be left out.

Cummings looks like a busy and hard working player. We will need to wait and see for the rest won't we. I'm not seeing a better striker than vellios though are you?

Murphy will start and Vellios will be in the bench along with Cummings. In Vellios and Cummings, MW has two very different options to come on and change a game if needed. My concern is that he hasn't got that same flexibility in midfield. We need to bring in 1 or 2 before Friday.

Does anyone else think that MW may be doing it to wind him up a bit and make him goal hungry? I remember we did it with Kris Commons a few years ago, was playing well then suddenly got dropped, it wound him up and when he came back in to the team he was on fire.

I think Vellios will start. I'm not sure that MW will be giving away his starting lineups prior to the start of the season. I can see the two Scottish lads playing either side of him up top vs Millwall.
