I have been saying to friends for weeks he is not coming back into the side this year, far too quiet on the Reid front therefore you can only assume they are shielding the bad news from the fans.
It is time for other quality players to step up to the plate like the second half against Derby, can they recreate that passion and drive for the rest of the season, I really hope so.

Maybe that is why we are linked to Grealish,he is ok but not very creative like Reid😞

I think Osbourn can fill his boots quite nicely. He's been in and out of the side too much an needs an extended run of games. Could be our shining light for the rest of the season.

I would agree with that GazzaRed. But what if Ben is injured? McGugan is doing nothing and not in any team.

4.) 20 Jan 2015
Mcgugan is just another ravel Morrison, could have been great players if they put their head down and put some graft in but they both think they are too good to listen to any manager. ravel Morrison could have been an England regular in the future but because of his ego he will probably never get a call up now

Big difference in experience and a bit optimistic to expect Osborn to take on Reid's role.

6.) 20 Jan 2015
I think you're doing a dis-service to Osbourn there.

7.) 20 Jan 2015
Personally I think we are over hyping Osborn. He put a good shift in at Derby and finished it with a lovely strike but let's face it his performances have been hit and miss over the whole season.

Must agree with wilderbeast.
Think that we are putting a little to much expectations on the young lads shoulders. Let's give him time to grow into the player we all hope he will become. Agreed with the rest though, if he can become consistent then why not.
But the whole team need to be consistent to allow him to grow, to give him the freedom to express himself and have the confidence to take players on regardless.

McGugan is a class player and architect of some vintage forest moments in recent times. All players have off games, all teams need someone who can make something out of nothing. We're too quick to forget how lethal the lad can be on his day. Tell me where else we could get someone who can change the course of a game with one swing In our existing predicament.

10.) 20 Jan 2015
Can't believe people still banging on about McGugan. At a time when we are desperate for consistency why would we sign a player that gives one good performance every half dozen games. More sentimental nostalgia me thinks.

Because he knows where the net is and can pass a ball

You have an excellent memory 2star !

There is a reason we let McGugan go on a free, there is a reason he isn't playing for Watford. Let's leave it at that.

No I wouldn't want to leave it at that. SP would be the man to get the very best out of him. In my view the other managers failed to do that. If he was on a free we shouldn't let his talent go to waste.
