If the money is right let him go and move on we are in transfer embargo be real

2.) 21 Jan 2015
What if we get offered £5 mill for antonio!!!!

3.) 21 Jan 2015
I don't agree oldred,we need to keep what we have,i don't always agree with SPs tactics but he seems to be building a team that are starting to gell,Antonio is one of our best players brought in by Pearce, hope lure of Prem football doesn't turn his head,WBA are struggling anyway, just tell them to p-ss of 😊

If He goes Britt won't be happy.

If Britt goes no one will be happy.

If Henry goes no one will be that bothered.

If they all stay then awesome!!

Antonio for McGugan with Pato on the wing could be an option. Not saying it's mine, but you never know your "luck" in an embargo?

5.) 21 Jan 2015
Doesn't matter if they offer 10 mill, it still won't lift the embargo. SP has said as much.

6.) 21 Jan 2015
How can fans be angry if Antonio wants to better himself?i don't want him to be sold it money talks and if we want to be able to buy players in the summer this would show that we are complying with the rules set when we had the embargo placed on us.
It will be another thing for the moaners to moan about but this is football, crap happens.

Think we re faced with 2 options here.

1. Antonios decent form suggests we could expect a serious offer. If we have resigned ourself to another season in the championship, take the money, release the embargo for next year & go again.

2. Antonios our best player, keep him so as not to upset the balance of the team, we are still in with a shout of promotion. We can't reverse the embargo & we can't replace him like for like.
Wait til the end of the season & see where we are & hope he doesn't lose his form.

Option 2 for me.

8.) 21 Jan 2015
If a reasonable offer is put down i'm sure he'll be off - I agree with old red, we need to understand the position we are in with regards to transfers and ffp. unfortunately no clubs really have the opportunity to build a team or a squad as so many other clubs can just pick off your best assets if they do well.

9.) 21 Jan 2015
I'd go with Cjay's option 2. Antonio has been by far our player of the season to date and without being able to replace him, NFFC simply can't risk selling him. If, by the next window the embargo is lifted, then we can consider the options but in today's market and taking in to consideration our predicament. Even a club record fee, currently £8.5m for Collymore to Liverpool, wouldn't be enough for Antonio. He is more valuable to us on the pitch than the money in the bank

You don't get promotion by selling the most consistent players. I know it's a pipeline dream now but. We need to keep the faith.
Stability has been the key word all season, we need consistent players to gain stability. Players you can relie on
We need to battern down the hatches, ride the storm out and see where it spits us out.

11.) 21 Jan 2015
Antonio may well leave if the price is right. Why wouldn't he want to go to prem if given the chance? £5 million and Graham Dorrans would benefit us OK.

12.) 21 Jan 2015
£5m and Berahino!

13.) 21 Jan 2015
Yes, the best we can do is to swap two or three players for Antonio. Otherwise pointless.

I would hope that Antonio might have seen what the promise of Prem. soccer has done to KD and JL, and that SP might be counselling him as to the merits of improving his football by working in the Championship and getting into the Top Six with NFFC. Antonio not ready for Prem. yet and defenders there will soon neutralise him. He still has a lot to learn.

15.) 21 Jan 2015
How about Berahino and 5 million :)

We need to keep hold of him and britt.
Even if offers of 5m come in. Only wished we had got Wilson in at beginning of season instead of Bournemouth he's doing alright aswel. Fawas needs to attract some decent sponcership for next season to squash ffp. Or we will have to sell.
