Is the delay appointing a new boss to give the hierarchy time to speak to Nigel Clough's agent? Stranger things have happened.

Let’s hope not.

Get Karanka in. Best man for the job by a country mile.

It looks like it might be Roy Keane no better than Warburton in my opinion and a step backwards if it is

I would be happy with Karanka.I just hope wee don't entertain the idea of bringing in Gary Monk, i can't get past the interview he gave after we beat Leeds 3-1 last season. "If not for the goals we conceded we would have won the game, definitely."

I don't think Roy Keane is an option for manager even less experienced than Warburton, personally i think he is being carried by O,Neil, and Nigel Clough might be a nice man but his Burton teams have been struggling at the wrong end of the table for a couple of seasons,as a lot of people say we need a manager with Champ.experience and get us playing as a team and all in the correct positions, Karanka or Monk could be ok 😈

Not RK please. We need a top class manager with a proven track record of success not a local hero. Remember Pearce?

The fact that Burton Albion are even in the Championship for the second successive season is an achievement in itself never mind struggling at the wrong end of the table.
They finished above us last season and That's with a population of 75,000 and an average gate of 4,500.
Just saying.

Spot on Red Fred, also when with Derby he had no money and had to recruit from the lower leagues.Sheffield Utd to 2 cup semi finals and i think they finished 6th?
It was 98% Nigels work that got Burton into the Football league.
Lets get him in and see what he can do.Hes performing miracles at Burton just to keep them in this league.
