Pullis is about to lose tonight's big one and the reason is simple;
Just like bottler rowett he goes out with one forward and then takes one off to be replaced by another??
Even though nil nil suits villa.
The mind boggles with these managers and their insistence on playing one up.

Great when you have a special talent ?
But this is championship football?
Pathetic managing at this level.
Wolves Cardiff at least go for it.
Hope Fulham do villa and then football is the winner not boring tactics from managers playing systems without the tools to do the job???

Hold on a second, people slate Warnock for his terrible footballing style that he sets out now your saying it’s the way forward?think it’s about time fans made there minds up about what they want to see in the pitch.

Warnock side scores goals and goals win games.
How was Pullis going to beat villa?
When they didn't manage a single shot on target? and only two in the first leg?
That's rank bad management and he got what he deserved.

That's simple Sutton what we want is a team that can compete in the championship and also a good manager that can not asking a lot unless your a Nottingham Forest fan. 😆

I thought the same ff79. Boro needed to score so taking off the man with pace up front to replace with a lightweight in bamford was mind boggling.

Yeah agreed. When Direby went 1 up, you could tell Rowett was happy to defend that, and saw it as a good result. They should have been going for more goals. (That said, they were also outplayed in both games) With Boro, I was expecting them to go all out to get goals in the second leg, but Pullis didn't set up for that with his 1 up front. He made it easy for Villa to defend and then maybe nick a goal on the break. Two up top is the way forward.

A few years back we were faced with a similar scenario against Swansea. We went for it and paid the price by conceding a third goal. i'd rather that than watch my team go down with a whimper!

The Championship play off results were entirely predictable when you have Pulis having 3 of the most dangerous strikers in the league only plays one at a time and wonders why he cannot score over 2 legs? Should have had Gestede on sitting on John Terry with one of the others playing off him.

As for Rowett who in their right minds plays Keogh in a back 3 and then wonders why the forwards just run through. When your goalkeeper is player of the season you know you are punching above your weight if you are in the top half of the table?

When I mentioned how well Warnock was doing earlier in the season people were on here saying they wouldn’t want him here because of the football he plays regardless of weather he got us up.so what’s changed now?

Ff hull scored more goals than Cardiff this season.they finished below us and 4 points worse off than us.so is it really ALL about scoring goals?

Sutton I'm glad you cling on to my posts?
But Cardiff do go for it and the difference with hull is, Cardiff don't give as many away.
Incidentently, karanka is looking at signing two of those defenders?
But you won't be worried?
Because we got rid of the banker? and we've got Karanka?
Bit of a rhyme there? 😂😂
