Ipswich potential signing of Lampard reminds me of Platt coming to us ,what makes clubs think big names make managers without any experience,need to do an apprenticeship in IMO.

Rutland red1, as a player Lampard made Platt look like a League 1 player but Carlo point is both have played for England aswell as in the Premiership, but that does not mean they will be good managers.

If he decided to play aswell as manage would he cope.
