That might be true when talking about one match. Over the course of a season the relevance of luck is greatly diminished.Lucky teams don't win leagues. Good teams do!

I genuinely believe Derby will do well and lampard will be a good manager, the law of averages says that a former player will make a great manager straight alway. Lampard is an intelligent and has as much chance as anyone of being that player who instantly takes to management . I wouldn’t be quick to write Derby off this season like many of our fans have. In my opinion he’s made some good signings whilst massively trimming he wage bill.

Both teams extremely poor. Playing those tactics with Keogh at the back, Derby are going to concede a lot of goals against better teams.

Stevie, I didn’t watch it mate so can’t comment, I’m not basing my view on what was on show last night. I just believe lampard is worth the gamble. Secondly Derby generally do chuck our very good youngsters who I think will flourish under a manager they perhaps loved watching when they were kids.
