Brentford play as a team as do Bolton and Sheffield U. We are a new side with a relatively new manager. If we finished above 10th then I would be happy compared to the last few seasons. Most would agree that the squad has the basis of a sound team. Most on this site were also crying out for new players, if we had no money and kept a similar side I suspect we would be in a similar position as we are now . Because we would be better as a team vis a vis the improvements in Cash's play and Bridcutt. The manager needs time and it would be ludicrous in the extreme to replace AK. Our club hit rock bottom very recently and has shown signs of stability. AK is paid to make the right decisions. So no more carping but let's get behind our players and manager.

Doc. I have always been an advocate for patience and time. What is concerning me now though is the same old reasons after the match coming from the manager.
The strength of the individual players (in my humble opinion) is there but AK does not seem able to get the best out of this team. His decisions are becoming a concern (Bringing the top scorer Cash on as sub yet again).
This team has to start performing to their abilities and quickly else I can see our owner making some sweeping changes before Santa comes a calling.
We are conceeding goals both home and away so what have we got to loose at the next game if we play 4-4-2 format

How can you not carp about the manager when every man and his dog cam see our problem is formation one up front and 2 defensive midfeilders wins you nothing if we were water tight defensively then people could have an argument but we far from water tight, cash and bridcutt were awesome Wednesday then get dropped sorry bad management he clearly has favourites and isn't picking what is best for forest, none of this will change till he is replaced I wanted him succeed just as much as everyone else but making 2 subs at half time showed just how wrong he got it yet again, a good manager can see and admit when there wrong and make changes not just keep trying bad tactics hoping for a different outcome

i agree with 4 4 2 but I'm not sure we have enough strikers for it now given we just sold 1. we get an injury and we are stuffed which over the season we are bound to have.

Exactly Eddie. I'd convinced myself the hold up for Brereton leaving was us sorting out a replacement.
