Reading through the posts over the last few days and a wave of optimism seems apparent- one that we will win enough games to survive. Whilst I hope that is the case, we need to remember this team we have struggles to score goals and can’t defend- especially against set pieces. If I were any coach playing us I would make sure Forest were pressured not so much in and around our box but generally on each wing of the final third. An inability to defend such set pieces is glaringly obvious and something Nuno can’t seem to correct.
With us offering little threat up front, opposing teams can be safe to overload such areas to good effect. That’s just an honest observation. Man Utd did that well in the last 10 minutes of the FA Cup match.
So either Nuno comes up with some sort of offensive plan to mitigate this problem or we will continue to struggle. After all the best form of defence is attack. It’s down to the coach now, and sadly I don’t think he has it in his locker to sort out these problems.

His philosophy was to build from the back and have a solid defence first

It’s a philosophy Skegs that most decent coaches have. Attack first, and let the opponent worry about stopping you, rather than the other way round. Sadly perhaps you and Nuno don’t quite grasp that facet of football.
Cooper did what he could with the dross the club accumulated as playing staff. Nuno is hardly doing any better is he? In fact I would say we are worse under Nuno, the heart has been ripped out of the club and the team spirit seems rather poor to me.

Skegs your either a bit simple or trolling ?. The club is in a worse state now than when cooper was in charge. The team has no cohesion, the fans not together and behind the team. Nuno looks clueless and to be honest disinterested. But let’s not let facts get in the way.

Actually skegs red frog has a valid point. You don’t see Man City sitting back, there on the attack from the first whistle. Just as long as your defence is in tune with the flow of the game and can see a possible break down in the attack and get back in numbers, there’s no reason for it not to work. But I’m afraid nuno lacks vision. Please correct me if I’m wrong but has he ever tried to connect to the fans, I can’t remember on any occasion.

The REALfans loved cooper win or loose he always showed his appreciation to us. We’ve the heart ripped out of our club, and your correct it is a two way street, and when nuno shows a little love and more importantly gets his head around how much the club means to us, then i'd hope that two way street can be re opened. Coopers gone but he will never be forgotten.

In the real world of Premier league football you’re completely correct- Nuno has done very little since arriving apart from moaning and whining. If he were to achieve what Cooper has achieved the fans would love him. But talking to many people they don’t.
