Travelling to the game Tuesday night and I was told Forest and Adlene Guedioura were in talks. This surprised me after another rumour suggesting a bust up with Billy but this is 100% concrete. Heard nothing since but could come straight in and knows his job/how we play. I hope this deal is done sooner rather than later.

FirstLoveForest

1.) There is something in this as nat Jackson interviewed billy and asked is pep coming back on loan? Billy held true and false up at the same time!

2.) Best option for me, gutted when he left, I do not understand the criticism when he left, please let this be true

3.) Move on. Dorrans please!

4.) I really hope he comes back because I to was gutted when he left. up the reds!

5.) No thanks.
Not a patch on Vaughan or Lansbury!
Can you all not remember all the suiside
Passes he used to make and put us in unneeded trouble.
Stay a super palace please.

{Ed034's Note - remember all the good stuff he did too??

6.) He was off like a rat down a drainpipe when offered more money. Decent player but a bit of a liability at times. Often conceded free kicks in dangerous positions. Think we would be wise to move on and look elsewhere.

7.) Would be perfect for our current situation. Knows the set up, fans favourite, and unfinished business. I hope this is true.

8.) So over rated! Not good enough! Can't pass, one good long thunderbolt shot every 5 games is not good enough. As consistent as majewski. The team spirit will be eroded if we keep bringing people like this in. No thanks.

9.) Sounds like a good deal for forest let's sell a player for 2.5mill then loan him back :}

10.) He might not be a patch on Vaughan or Lansbury but you're forgetting the only reason we need another midfielder is because they're both out for season. Derrrr

11.) Think most footballers in fact anyone would move on offered more money. For me he plays a completely different role to Lansbury would free him up to play further up the field and could form a good partnership with the other Algerians

12.) Any truth to Gillet being re called from Bristol>>>

13.) Is pep cup tied the reason I ask if we win tomoz we will need him in next round. Recent years a lower league club has had a good cup run this is our year.

14.) Geddy has been out injured for a while so not sure how up to speed he would be. Has quality for sure but I do agree with the post re team spirit at present. Plus ya got to remember some of those stray passes lo
Rutland redl

15.) Been told someone in place for Monday. who?, your guess as good as mine

16.) He's good but a liability

17.) Let's get dorrans or an equal too. Deerrr

18.) Isn't Monday too early? Second thoughts, oh dear, I think I've started the date debate again! Sorry Ed!

19.) 15 Feb 2014 10:14:34
Do you people forget that after McLaren left we were heading for league one! Pep came in & virtually kept us up on his own. 30 years of watching forest, only collymore & Van hooijdonk have ever had a bigger impact

20.) Geddy did play some good games for us, but all of you who want him back, I think you will be disappointed, he's not Billy's type of mp, try's to many tricks

21.) Ed, do you know if he did actually jump at the money or was it the club that pushed him out with it being such a good offer and a ready replacement for that role in lansbury? Lansbury was playing in a more advanced role before that.

{Ed034's Note - I think it was both money and the chance to play in the prem. the club tried to persuade him to stay but top flight is a big thing for players

22.) No way! He thought the grass was greener on the other side, so just let him sit on the bench at palace and stare at the grass!

23.) I think Majewski played better with him in team. With Vaughan lansbury and Moussi out, I would prefer Dorrans but would take pep back. Cud try Osborn in cup?

24.) Can't believe people are giving him stick for leaving. 99% of footballers would leave for more money and the chance to play in the premier league. Our players are absolutely no different.

Keeno

25.) I see it like this when players leave,
If my boss at work walked in and said that another company want my services and they're going to offer me more money and a higher position, I would more than likely accept that offer. We all have to remember footballers are people too and have to think of their personal careers and makes decisions on what they think is best for them.

26.) So we want players who think they are to big for us, and do not want to play for us? Good players to have in the dressing room ( not)

27.) Prefer Coppinger back!

28.) Second to last poster - how on earth do u know that was the case. The bloke accepted more money and the chance to play in the prem. he never did anything to disrespect the club in any way shape or form. He is better than what we currently have available. Don't get some fans!

Keeno

What I have been told tonight, nothing crazy but from a good source. Vaughan 100% will be here until the end of the season, not sure about the deal but told he will be stopping. Its easy to say this and be correct but 1 possibly 3 players will be signed tomorrow depending on departures. Did anybody see any players in the crowd because I was told that 1 of the targets was at the game and sat in a box. Nothing special I know but pleased to hear about vaughan.

FirstLoveForest

1.) I was also told Vaughan has signed. Will be announced Friday.

2.) 31 Jan 2014 00:26:38
I think we will get Vaughan, Hobbs is fifty fifty but a striker too would complete the perfect window. Billy mentions some to go out and I think Derbyshire, Tudgay and Majewski look good bets with (I'm sad to say) one big name going too. Even Fawaz won't bring in 6 or 7 without balancing the books. Kevin Gomis was either brought in to make up for losing Hobbs or Lascelles and I think, chances are, it's more likely to have been the latter. Hope to be wrong but would be happy with Hobbsy slotting back in.

3.) 31 Jan 2014 00:36:51
Not sure I feel more confident about lascelles staying after mysteriously hearing Billy blaming both goals on him. No defender would have stopped the flick and surely it was Collins who lost Angella for the second. clever, maybe Everton will take Collins instead!

4.) There was someone sitting 2seats along from the chairman wearing hat don't know who he was

5.) 444444444444444444444444444444444444444444------------22222222222222222222222222222222 come on you redss!!!!

6.) Guy in the hat looked like omar shariff. don't read to much in to that tho!

7.) If Laschelles was being sold then why did he play and risk injury? Obviously nothing sorted on that score

8.) Although lacselles didn't have his best game last night, neither goal was his fault. I hope JL stays, but if it's decent money and his head gets turned, then that's football. Burnley I'm sure thought this when the sold Austin.

9.) Been told we are going for Leadbetter. anyone else heard this. or was I dreaming

10.) But it was only said yesterday, how he reportedly said how much he was loving it at Boro. They won't sell, late promotion condenders. They are building not weakening (hence Dorrans and Graham probably going there)

11.) Omar Shariff would be good for the odd cameo performance

12.) I'd have to watch a replay but I thought it was Collins who lost his man for the second goal, not lascelles. And the first goal, if there was anyone to blame it was the moose who got pipped to the ball. Lascelles missed having a commanding, organiser next to him tonight. Collins just didn't take charge of the back four as I would expect someone of his experience to do

Keeno

13.) Here, here Keeno- I've put exactly that in another thread about JL needing Hobbs in his tab, directing him. If Collins can't lead a back 5 how the hell was he skipper?! Makes no sense? Re the moose I thought he was outstanding last night tbh
Notts Loyal

14.) I got told this morning a bid had been received for collins from another championship club

I posted a few days ago about a striker signing and I am now presuming from what I was told that he was talking about Djebbour. if i'm correct he also said the fee had been agreed between the clubs and it was just down to personal terms to be sorted. If this is the case and Djebbour is tweeting about us expect this to be unveiled by monday latest. Not my 1st choice Jordan Rhodes but hopefully he can fire us to top 2 with 10-15 goals in the run in. Often read some of the rumours flying round on here and love some of them! Lol! New to posting but I do hear the odd rumour. i'm digging to find out about hobbs as its looking like a loan deal for a different cb is to be completed soon. I want Hobbs back, he's settled and loved!

To the angry reds fan in oz, chill. This is a RUMOUR site nothing more. If I believed everything I read on here darlow lascelles and lansbury would be in the england squad then sold next season for 100+ million, the city ground will be expanded to a 100,000 capacity and forest will win the champions league in the next few year. Take each rumour as you wish but its all good fun. For the record i'm 1 out of 1 on my info! keep the rumours coming reds, it passes time at work. :-)

Graham and Wickham would both be good signings and wouldn't say no to either.
The info I have is a striker that has played champions league football this season is currently discussing personal terms after a fee was agreed. Not given a name but came from a good source and thought I would share.

Fee agreed for an un named champions league striker. Personal terms to be agreed but this is concrete. My first post and expect a barrage of abuse but fingers crossed, completed soon.
