A few rumours about Britt but hoping they are false and kazy journalism. Maybe loyalty is a thing of the past but it wouldn't hurt him to remember who nursed him, paid him and waited for him after his injury.
It may also be good for him to work with a backroom team who understand his injury and know what his limitations are. No doubt what I saw at the Ipswich game was a lethal and hungry striker.
As with every season I think we have a decent squad who could compete if glued together. There's a nice young core in this team that given a season or two might be quite special do I'm ignoring the rumours until they are announced in a red top- always excited pre-season!

Paid him nursed him in his recovery and waited. we gave him a contract and it's our duty to help him get back to fitness. you make it sound like we could of just chucked him away!

A very indulgent blog from Stan. Love the man for trying but his type up seems more of a bid for an online documentary rather than a genuine blueprint for improvement or any real facts.
Nothing new- qualified people would do a better job, buy some players,
Afford some tenure, communicate better.

We all know the blue print and what he is trying to do but it's his contacts and the people who he will put forward who are ready to start te job immediately that he has the upper hand over us on.
luke who would you bring in who is ready to do the job for all the positions that need to be filled to make this club work? He already has people willing to fill the roles and start immediately all you or anyone (including me) is put names out there but because you don't know them personally you wouldn't know if there free/available or willing to take the jobs.

At the weekend Stan stated he didn't want a job at Forest, just wanted to help out? Now he wants the role of sporting director? Not sure of names but I'll guarantee that some are ex players. Stone, Bohinen and Roy are 3 that would be likely. So Stan one minute it's Fawaz out, 3 days later it's I'll be your sporting director?

Norwich just too strong and pacy today. Thought there were minor glimpses of an intelligent wavelength between Lansbury and bendtner, wingers looked pacy but never looked up before the cross and lightweight. Hilda terrified them and is our very own Edgar Davids.

We are 7th. We would all have taken that at the start of the season and we have the finances to add in January. Flawed. .improving us might be more accurate.
I'm not sure how Velios is proven in some meaningless friendlies and we don't see his attitude in training.

Agree. He wanted us to do well. He also wanted glory and cash. Not a cheap exercise and poorly executed but how many others have failed at premiership glory.
After today we are in no worse state and I will say thank you for a cracking bunch of young players who have been allowed a chance.
Frying pan fire is my only worry but hey. we go again.

I thought Britt was phenomenal second half today. After the 1st half where up top they looked like strangers him and Ward second half were cracking. Britts vision, passing and cracking trickery terrified them. Can't wait to see him next season after a break and some full pre season training.
Great second half and we live to fight again.

Norwich are just a decent team. At the home leg they were pacy and missed a penalty. I'd have taken a point there all day long . We won't win them all but I'm not saying game over with 2 great new strikers to bed in.
