I hope I don't hear anyone at Birmingham today singing 'Forest til i die' because it just doesn't seems to be true based on what I read. We just don't know why the deal collapsed but there is a reason why the proposed takeovers at Everton and Swansea didn't happen and it wasn't Fawaz.

Now is the time to close ranks and stick with it and I very much doubt we'll go down. Think of it this way. we have a team that as poor as they are (journeymen, failures, non triers etc.), are capable of getting the odd win here and there. (Like at Ipswich and Barnsley).

Rotherham and Wigan are going so we have to ensure we are not the other one. We are far from out at the moment and it just might be that the likes of Cash, Worrall, Bereton etc can inject some passion that rubs off on the journeymen wasters.

It's possible Fawaz might not be to blame and that the scales have been removed from his eyes. I very much expect us to win at brum today.

Also remember this is the second deal to fall through this season with the fat Greek bloke pulling the plug. Not saying it's all fawaz but surely if a deal was agreed in October and a price agreed and papers just needing signing fawaz just maybe wanted a larger slice of the pie.

Why doesn't he tell us why these deals fell through as fans what make the club we have a right to know. Why has it taken him so long to try and get this deal signed and we kept in the dark, something stinks too me if he said the yanks only wanted to pay 25 30 million in the end I'd understand it a bit more.

But to keep saying not in the best interests of the club thank you for your continued support through these difficult times without telling us the real reasons suggests greed and egos again reared their ugly heads. The Greek bloke helped with players and had staff In place to come in and the yanks also had staff in place to hit the ground running.

Why go to all that trouble to then just scupper the deal right at the end. Like I say not completely blaming fawaz but reckon his ego and massive head just got in the way again.

We just don't know where the problem lies in this debacle but it suits some to just blame everything on Fawaz (and I'm not defending him as all the evidence suggests he's a bit of a muppet) However there are at least two things to consider. Firstly, why did the American's proposed move for both Everton and Swansea collapse? I suggest all is not as it appears. Secondly, the rubbish 'reporting' from the Nottingham Evening post has just smeared Fawaz at every turn without any hard facts - "The Evening Post understands" Has been "linked to" it is reported that (by who, from who, for who? ) "It is thought that" etc etc. We want news not substantiated views. And so Fawaz is to blame for everything though I think you will find that the Americans were quite was was reported
Whatever, i doubt we will get relegated because though we have a crap team with many journeymen/underachievers/non triers we are capable of winning the odd match here and there (a la Ipswich, Barnsley) and the dross below us probably can't. Rotherham, Wigan, Burton can improve in the January window but we can and probably will. Just remember most business is not done until the last minute as clubs try to hike up the price by threatening to hold out. If we have the likes of Cash and Worral playing then we will have at least some caring heart and that gives a bit of hope. As for the prima donna Lansbury get rid to the highest bidder. Its a shame we didn't let him go to Villa and get Gardener here. It's all going to be alright
