Why would you want Mackie to go as well? I would be sad to see Mackie go, we need him in our side next season if we are to push.

"Mackie an all".?? Have I missed something of was he not one of our hardest working players last year? Might not be a lightening fast goalscorer but keen eye for an assist and definitely need him putting in 100% week in week out! Youth around him with pace, we need exactly Mackie type players to glue us together!

Re Mackie i'm sitting on the fence about him, he's a real grafter, quick and always seems to nip infront and win the ball, the only thing is its sometimes him that lost it in the first place, having said that I would keep him to chuck on last 20 mins to run em ragged

Mackie is a great professional and reminds me of Cohen in many respects. Not the most naturally gifted footballer but gives his all to the team week in week out and weighs in with the odd goal. I would like to see him play the number 10 role instead of Cox (with Reid and Paterson out wide).

{Ed034's Note - mackie is great and receiving the ball with a defender up against his back and turning him. I think he works best ok the wing because I think you need to be able to pick special pass and score from 20yards to play the ten role and I don't think that's mackie

Just going back to the "Terrorist" hopefully for the last time. Does anyone know if the club had to pay the Greek club we got the "Terrorist" from any fee. Also it would appear that his mate has said to a French newspaper that if he does not get another club, he will honour his contract. GREAT!!
