Fox contract is a no brainer. He can cover two positions is very experienced in this League and got promotion with Saints.

We need someone to slot straight into the team until DP returns to full fitness and avoids signing another full back trying to fit into a new look back 5!

Marco - I couldn't agree more. We have so many quality centre backs already. At left back we have Pinillos and Cohen who can cover there very effectively.

Fox is a good squad man and like a few others will play better under a better manager. His confidence was shot but with his history he will be good for us. For once I kind of agree with KB.

Personally, I've seen few perform worse at LB in recent years. He's a high earner who happily filled in for a short period. If a the season was 5 games long then Fox would've been one of our best players - thankfully it's not. A player should be judged on consistency over a season, not a few games.

Only my opinion, but I'm not sure we actually needed him around.

Pinillos is also just over a month away according to reports in the NEP. Worst case scenario he'll be with us by game 5/ 6.
We could've allowed Fox to continue playing without giving him a new contract, maybe?

If Fox can play week in, week out, to the same standard as he did, albeit before getting sent off, against MK in the last game of last season then he will be s big positive because he can play in a number of positions but as for Mancienne he adds something the others can't and must be kept at all costs! Like it or lump it, we only really saw what Fox can do over the course of 5 games . This will be his 3rd season if I'm not mistaken!

The sixth game is in four weeks and he won't be in it. Sounds like we're about to sign another left back which is interesting, especially now Fox has just signed for another year.
