Heard jack Lester in talks with Chesterfield over managers job.

1.) 20 Sep 2017 12:24:57
Hope not jack is vitel part of the forest set up

2.) 20 Sep 2017 16:49:58
He will go if he gets offered the gig as he will want a crack at his old club. He can always come home again if it does not work out?

3.) 20 Sep 2017 22:55:23
Have you got bionic ears or did you have a glass against his wall?

4.) 20 Sep 2017 23:26:46
That's total "glass" eer,ear.

04 Jul 2017 18:44:38
2nd bid for Britt been prepared. I reckon they'll try 12m .

1.) 04 Jul 2017 20:37:51
Well at least the lad is thousands of miles away in florida preparing for the new season.
Hope that saus something, not like he's been left behind.

2.) 04 Jul 2017 21:27:14
Wouldn't even bother answering the phone to the cheapskate unless he starting talking figures 15m+.

14 Jun 2017 20:39:14
Been told Middlesbrough are planning a Β£10m plus Patrick Bamford bid for Britt.

1.) 14 Jun 2017 21:01:42
I'd Turn that down.

2.) 14 Jun 2017 21:44:44
Where have you heard that from.

3.) 14 Jun 2017 22:03:49
I'd want 15-20 mill if we have to take bamford as part ex.

4.) 14 Jun 2017 22:18:41
Whats he worth after a 2 season injury. Season out then recovery season.

65 apps 30 goals over 3 seasons?

5.) 14 Jun 2017 23:08:22
Same site that's linking us with every forward available.
This rate we'll have 11 strikers.

6.) 14 Jun 2017 23:17:19
Heard it from a lad at the forest acadamy. No names mentioned.

Betting on Britt:

Evens to be at Middlesbrough
11/10 forest
8-1 Wolves

Must be something in it. An approach made?

7.) 14 Jun 2017 23:04:58
20 million? πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
Good strikers are rare.

8.) 14 Jun 2017 23:21:29
I think Britt is damn good but 10 mil plus bamford isn't an awful deal - remember how many goals he has scored in the championship the past few seasons? Ideal situation would be too keep Britt tho obviously.

9.) 15 Jun 2017 05:29:23
Would not have Bamford back at Forest. His old man could not wait to get him away from Forest.

10.) 15 Jun 2017 09:36:47
Im not saying I want Bamford back but I think his Dad thought he wouldn't get a go in the first team with Billy in charge.

Think he played 10 mins at the end of one game?

I think Britt will be top scorer in the Champ this season, hope it's with us!

11.) 15 Jun 2017 11:00:33
With Cummings in and Warburton wanting a reduced squad, I think it only really leaves room for 3 strikers, Cummings, Brereton, Assambolonga and Vellios. Who will go to off set finances for ffp? Vellios would not raise enough money and nobody is coming in for him, so imo it's either Assambolonga or Brereton who will command a good enough fee and would be easy to sell with lots of interest from other clubs.

12.) 15 Jun 2017 11:15:22
Cummins only costing just over a million so why would we need to sell britt or ben?
Ffp rules have changed so unless we spend stupid money we shouldn't be affected.
All this talk of ffp is premature.

13.) 15 Jun 2017 13:05:38
there's always speculation about Britt, because he's quality, We've got to keep him at the club, the only way he should be sold is if he actually wants to go and there's nothing in the media that says he does, he's our best player by a country mile and without him, we all know that we'd be in League 1 now.
Problem is that Some fans believe rumours and then think that the player wants to go, and so get on his back,
If he does go though . what price?

02 Feb 2017 14:44:55
Gary Rowett been approached again to become manager. Talks between Fawaz and Rowett over Phone have taken place.
Dont know if any face to face talks been held or scheduled as of yet.

1.) 02 Feb 2017 15:50:20
I would be surprised if Fawaz would entertain Rowlett, especially as he was initially not interested due to poor structure at the club.

2.) 02 Feb 2017 19:22:13
Aint he working on the structure? The Rowett comment about structure was made a few weeks ago before Fawaz interview, signings and work on structure.

29 Jan 2017 11:15:49
Fawaz and his team are meeting up with the clough team again this afternoon. Could have Clough agreeing to the job tonight or an announcement tomorrow morning. I think clough is almost certainly our next manager.

1.) 29 Jan 2017 12:01:21
not a chance.

2.) 29 Jan 2017 12:17:20
Hopefully he will do the right thing by the club he still lives and himself and say NO, just like Pearce should have and just like MON has. Our past does not guarantee a future despite how much we think it can be and no matter how magical it seems. I wish santa was real but he isn't, in fact he's more likely than NC replicating the BC magic.

3.) 29 Jan 2017 12:20:40
Why 'not a chance'?

4.) 29 Jan 2017 12:27:52
This is all a show with Fawaz ! We won't sign a manager and we won't sign any (permanent good players) in this transfer window! The man is just unbelievable, This will end up the same as the last 3 seasons, Fawaz is leaving things till the last minute and after we've yet again missed out on a good manager and any players that would even come to this shambles it will be too late ! and Fawaz will make it look like he's tried his best for the club to make himself look good.

This is a mirror image of last season doing to little too late, no buys but making sure he sells the best players! But the plus side for Fawaz his pockets stay full as per !

5.) 29 Jan 2017 12:34:58
Let him say not a chance but he'll see soon enough. πŸ˜‰.

6.) 29 Jan 2017 12:49:55
Don't understand the negativity surrounding appointing njgel clough. No body expects replication of yesteryear. Someone has to get the job so why not an ex forest player. Nigel did not play in the euro years but in a very efficient cloughie side that won a few trophies.

We must get behind fawaz hurt as it may. We have no control and success going forward will only be acheived through unity. Nigel is a good proven manager at this level what more do people want. let's hope its Nigel, he won't take any shti from anyone. Happier days lie ahead.

7.) 29 Jan 2017 13:44:42
I don't know what is wrong with those so called fans suggesting Nigel should stay well clear. You claim to want the best for the club yet seem more content to be negative and moan. Nige would be a fantastic choice and I genuinely think he would do well.

8.) 29 Jan 2017 14:19:02
NC has a points to game ratio of 1.3 throughout his career. I just don't see what's so good about him? Used to love watching him play for forest but he's uninspiring, not that likable, talks total crap at times, and has achieved little as a manager. He is however, a legend, a patsy, easily influenced, used to working with no money, and good for the odd cup run. Bring him in and it might make you feel warm and fuzzy but itll be a relegation nail biter for sure.

9.) 29 Jan 2017 22:46:10
Would you not be in favour of rowett then no22?

01 Nov 2017 15:37:24
Did the new owners ever make this fans committee member thing happen.
If so can our voice ask why MW won't play certain players. Vellios etc.

1.) 01 Nov 2017 19:54:02
I live in the South of England but i understand that a lady called Sarah Clapson is a reporter on the NP,so i have wondering why she has not picked up on the fact that Vellios has not been selected or why other players are being played out of position and asked Mr Warburton whyπŸ˜•

2.) 01 Nov 2017 20:58:06
If the fans committee happens it will soon stop if fans go in questioning the manager, what next? A text vote to select the team? We might not agree with certain decisions but we do need to leave team selection to the management and coaches - we moaned like hell when it was thought that fawaz was questioning and forcing his team selections on managers ,now some fans want to do it?? Fans should be involved in certain areas with how the club as a whole is run but should be kept as far away as possible from the first team and team selection.

3.) 01 Nov 2017 21:06:35
Brilliant post 2 tone .
The idea was to make fans feel part of the club, not to question decisions of management or owners.

24 Sep 2017 12:31:05
I been saying for a long time now the tactics are so wrong. Defensively we are so poor and sloppy. Smith worrell and hobbs are a joke at the moment.
Brereton a waste of time playing where he is and murphy on his own up front is not working at all. 5 players there already struggling. Add to that darwikwa and troare going missing up field then that why we are in a mess.

1.) 24 Sep 2017 12:47:29
Hobbs has rarely played a league game. I think he and mancienne, if hobbs is fit, should be the hub of defence for 6 matches. Eric at right back and give fox one more fhance at left back. At least we would be balanced. Otherwise i agree with the post. Villa really were not that good yesterday. When osbourne is not on the pitch we have no urgency or pressing high up the pitch.

2.) 24 Sep 2017 14:56:19
I think it will take time and new players in before we start a good winning run very early stages yet long way to go before we get to be where we need at top 6 championship level but that will come

3.) 24 Sep 2017 15:15:08
Skegs warbs has brought in a lot of new players. Either they are not up for it, not listening to him, or not good enough. The fact he plays worrall and brereton most if not all league games is a worry. He has experience in eric and hobbs but prefers the naivity of youth. The squad is only a centre back and maybe a goalie short of the quality most champ clubs would be happy with.

4.) 24 Sep 2017 23:18:15
I will definitely after disagree with you there Rutland think the players he has bought in have added a lot of quality to the squad especially for what he paid for them also contradicting yourself a bit saying one minute the players not good enough then saying were 2 players short of a decent squad I do agree with you on Brereton as I've been saying this for weeks let's hope things get sorted so we can all start agreeing but in the mean time will be disagreeing with you as I hope mw is in charge still this time next season and is given a proper chance to build as the last 5 seasons have shown us to be a laughing stock keep changing managers

5.) 25 Sep 2017 06:23:09
I will agree with you here theonlywayisupπŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

12 Sep 2017 10:50:13
Could someone send this message to Jordan Smith.
Learn the basic commanding of your area, learn to kick the ball out of defence instead of throwing it to them . (They cannot pass) .
Learn to catch a ball, yes you are a decent shot stopper but try saves not parries all the time. (We keep possession when you catch it) .

1.) 12 Sep 2017 13:24:59
Just thinking regarding smith not kicking the ball out of defence have you considered that the mananger has told him not to do just that just saying πŸ˜•

2.) 12 Sep 2017 13:56:33
I'll pass the message on to J Smith later tonight - sometimes I do think he's a bit too smooth to be a goalie

3.) 12 Sep 2017 17:39:10
Yes Darren,I just txt Jordan there now mate. not telling you what his reply was!!! Let's just say you won't be getting a Christmas Card this year!!! πŸŽ„πŸŽ„πŸŽ„πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

4.) 12 Sep 2017 23:18:01
Plenty of encouragement for tonight then lads?
We'll win and then all will be ok,till Saturday and someone makes a mistake.

10 Sep 2017 13:32:06
I know I'm always on about smith and worrells errors week after week.

Could Warburton also work on the off side rule as well. How many times are our attacking players been caught off side is a worry as well.

Set piece defending training is also needed and try to use man marking as the zonal marking we use is creating to many holes in our defence.

1.) 10 Sep 2017 15:10:00
Darren, who would you have as first choice back four ?
I'd have, lichaj, fox , mancienne, Hobbs. I'd like to see us be more direct too. Perhaps get the older more experienced pros to build up a few clean sheets and reintroduce the younger players into a more confident back four.

10 Sep 2017 08:17:52
I have been saying for weeks now about how poor Smiths distribution and worralls passing is.
All i got was slammed. Both good propects for the future but at the moment are making to many costly mistakes game after game.
Henderson needs to play and put some fight into Smiths game.

1.) 10 Sep 2017 08:54:40
I agree and and where is Caryol? On the bench I think yesterday but he can't do much from there. Play him and get some balls into the box, Cummings will pick them up I've no doubt. Sorry but Brereton not good enough.

2.) 10 Sep 2017 09:02:11
It was a bit like watching Jimmy Anderson bowl against the Windies: Every ball he bowled looked like taking a wicket. When SW crossed you feared for Forest. We have to have a stronger presence in there and someone with a good brain. Hobbs looks good, but even he was tentative! On the plus side, for most of the second half Forest looked OK with plenty of ball. The goals will come. be patient!

Well said 2star. To much hype on these kids who show a little bit of pace with a half decent shot. i'd take 13m any day for Bereton. He won't get a guaranteed starting place in any top 10 prem side.

We 100% need a new striker. Not saying Murphy is the answer but been at a big club like Newcastle and experience we only help the team and players.

15m for a injury prone striker wuth no prem experience is about right. Cannot see us getting any more then that.

He was expected to break in there first team last season. But was used as a sub a few times and wasnt up to the leap up in class. If they get 15m for him they ain't lost on him that be his trasfer fee and wages back for them. He as time on his side but i cannot see any top 4 teams wanting him now after the poor season he had. Although i cannot see hime getting much game time at palace though.

So if a 18 year old makes a key basic mistake its classed as genuinely a progress mistake but if a 35 year old made the same mistake its classed as old journey mans costly mistake.

In my eyes a mistake is a mistake and all could be costly.

Wouldnt you rather people piont out the areas we are making costly mistakes (giving balls away to easy in dangerous areas, etc) . So they can be addressed. Progression is identiflying weak areas and improving them.
