Im been told that Panagiotis Tachtsidis. From Olympiakos is also joining in a free transfer.
Sounds like passing is impressive from him and anouther defence minded player. Defensive midfielder.

1.) 03 Sep 2018 17:13:12
We need a back up for Gued plus he's 6ft4 which will help on corners. Hopefully this is the end for the Colback+Watson partnership.

2.) 03 Sep 2018 19:03:02
Sounds like some sort of infection. perhaps a soothing balm might be the answer!!! 🏥🏥🏥👩‍⚕️👩‍⚕️👩‍⚕️😂😂😂

3.) 03 Sep 2018 20:43:09
sounds desperate. can't believe the gaffer couldn't see we needed an attacking midfielder. box to box and not just enforcers like Watson, Colback and others

4.) 03 Sep 2018 23:21:38
It says he's a play maker not a defensive midfielder at all.
Surely we have enough midfielders already,if he's still here come Jan no doubt karanka will want to sign eight more midfielders lol.
Should be signing quality not quantity.

5.) 04 Sep 2018 07:05:21
as a long olympiakos fan i can say that greek news have confirmed the transfer of both tachtsidis and ansarifard.the first one is more or less like bouchalakis but with better passing and little slower.ansarifard if gets in form can do great things

6.) 04 Sep 2018 11:00:55
According to WIKI Ansarifard is a Forest player

7.) 04 Sep 2018 14:58:13
We have a first team squad of 25 which is par for the course so we are hardly overloaded on quantity?

As for quality I'd be interested to hear which of the AK signings are worse than those replaced, especially bearing in mind that virtually the outgoing players have had to step down at least one division to get a game?

Having endured the short term pain of clearing out the deadwood and poor results last season AK should be judged on this season results not hammered for the failings of his predecessors!

8.) 04 Sep 2018 16:03:34
Red they should be better than the ones he replaced payed enough money for them lol and the only deadwood left to clear out is ak 😆

9.) 04 Sep 2018 18:19:40
I agree with Redinexile.
Plenty of time to improve.
Last season Fulham only won 2 of their first 8 games with a settled squad and they did ok at the end.
We have a lot of new players that need to settle and the manager to learn what his best team and tactics for those players is.
We will be there or thereabouts at the end . . in my opinion

10.) 04 Sep 2018 21:52:54
Stop bantering on about other clubs from last season.
AK is out his depth and 4 games to turn it around which I don't think he's capable of doing.
Mr.marinakis will not tolerate any further losses and will fire Manuel.

11.) 05 Sep 2018 13:35:45
Well the banter police are out.
Sorry for not agreeing with you ,should have checked with you for permission what to banter about.
Are you Mystic Meg and seem to know what Marinakis is thinking.
Just sanctioned another signing, possibly two, whilst planning to sack the manager in 4 games time. . really ?

01 Sep 2018 23:32:10
New owner was straight and blunt when he employed Karanka. Promotion and play offs a must.
Karankas 4-2-3-1 formation is too defensive and will get a lot of draws.
Lack of strikers is a worry.
35 year old Murphy won't get a season.
Grabban to many injuries.
Karanka a nice guy but will be sacked before we get promotion. He's got time but not much. Feb/ march he be gone.

1.) 02 Sep 2018 07:31:09
I think he will be gone by the end of November if the performances and results don't improve if we slip away from the top 6 he will be gone. I know it sounds mad but this owner will not mess about

2.) 02 Sep 2018 09:50:03
I don't understand the 2 thumbs down.
Karankas 4-2-3-1 is negative.
6 defensive minded players to start with.
Colback and Watson cannot play together.
Colback and Bridcutt is what it should be with geddy been out.
35 year old main striker is a major concern as well.

3.) 02 Sep 2018 11:06:24
Osbourne or Geddy (more dynamic and better movement) should play alongside one of Watson, Bridcutt or Colback.

4.) 02 Sep 2018 11:07:36
And when is this manager going to just admit to himself that Forest ALWAYS look better with Cash and Osbourne in the side. Their dynamic movement and energy are important to a side who want to move the ball quickly.

5.) 02 Sep 2018 11:14:34
We are now 3 points off the bottom, i will be surprised if he survives the weekend. He might get the international break but then the owner might use this time to bed in a new manager. Too early i hear you say? But are we moving united in the same direction??? No chance. This squad is confused and directionless. Too many good players replaced with averageness.

6.) 02 Sep 2018 11:39:57
It depends on how you play the 4-2-3-1 formation. Having 2 holding midfielders can work because you can push your full backs higher up. The alternative way to use the holding midfielders is to have one anchor and one Pirlo style role. The issue is Watson is too focused on trying to be the anchorman because he lacks the pace to cover the full backs and isn’t looking to pass it around like Reidy used to. I think having Bridcutt and Colback can work until Geddy is back. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that our best two performances this season were when the Colback Watson combo weren’t playing.

7.) 02 Sep 2018 16:53:16
It sounds to me like there’s a few on here wanting to predict the managers sacking before anyone else to then come on here and revel in their “I told you so”
Got to laugh at the , “ surprised if he lasts the weekend or international break “

8.) 03 Sep 2018 15:23:43
20 players in two seasons or their abouts if he is here next season will it mean him wanting another 10

9.) 03 Sep 2018 17:09:24
Lower bc he will be gone by october the owner don't suffer fools gladly 20 mill is a lot of dosh if he is sacked but to be honest I've not seen much improvment apart from the wba game

31 Jan 2018 19:02:42
Michael Dawson in talks about a return.

1.) 31 Jan 2018 19:43:34
He has supposed to have been instrumental in trying to get it done.

29 Jan 2018 14:35:42
Heard Former Forest player Scott Gemmil is to be offered the Scotland national job.
Hes currently in charge of Scotland under 21's.

15 Jan 2018 10:13:28
James Collins been looked at on loan from West Ham. 34 years old and contract up in summer. Seems surplus ti them and told he can leave on loan.
Id take him in a flash but fear he attract better interest then us.

1.) 15 Jan 2018 10:34:37
He would probably want a similar contract to Murphy, ie money and length. Do you think he is worth that?

2.) 15 Jan 2018 10:43:00
How old is john terry??? Its a bit different age wise with central defenders. collins would be perfect.

3.) 15 Jan 2018 11:19:36
The length of contract Murphy had was nothing to do with a 'bad' deal for Forest, it was about FFP and spreading the cost of his signing over three seasons to keep inside FFP.

4.) 15 Jan 2018 11:32:48
Rutland red1

Ok if you are right i will accept that, but if we give him a three year contract that takes him to 37 years old, and that is not taking into account wsges.

Please name 12 quality central defenders in the Premiership, and Championship that are 37 years old.?

5.) 15 Jan 2018 11:44:13

You are probably right about ffr, but my point was, is Collins in the posters view worth a 3 year deal for the money he would want.

What do you think, is Collins.?

6.) 15 Jan 2018 11:55:23
Jokic has six months left on his contract in Russia.

31 years old.

I'd go fetch him on my back!

7.) 15 Jan 2018 13:58:28
Better off with "Joan" Collins!!! No more has beens!!!

8.) 15 Jan 2018 14:21:14
Greyandred. Don't get you. We have zero quality centre backs at our club. We need experience and that comes at an age. Why name 12 what does that mean. I can name you one who is now 37 john Terry, who did not break sweat against us. We need a couple of defenders for the next season or two.
Hobbs we do not know the truth, worral is getting better but mancienne has never improved.
So collins is a great shout, for me anyway.

9.) 15 Jan 2018 14:37:56
I would have thought Crystal Palace might want Collins as they have lost Scott Dann to injury?

10.) 15 Jan 2018 14:55:40
Rutland red1

You can have experienced central defenders without being that age.

You said age is not such a big factor for central defenders, in which you name John Terry as an example.

If age is not that big a factor there would be plenty of quality central defenders in their mid to late 30's at the highest level, like i said a 3 year contract means he would be 37.

If you can only name Terry that means he is a rarity, not the norm as you were suggesting.

I do not think he is good enough for that Length of contract, and the money he would expect.

So we just have to agree to disagree

11.) 15 Jan 2018 15:25:50
Understand your point on Collins three year contact, maybe we should concentrate on players no older than 31

12.) 15 Jan 2018 15:27:04
Good shout, Collins would be great to bring in and would help the likes of Worrall develop.

13.) 15 Jan 2018 16:17:30
Gingerkid 42

If we get offered what has been rumoured do you think he will be around to learn from an experienced player?

14.) 15 Jan 2018 17:17:15
Who said anything about a 3 yr contract? We were duped over murphy, collins would probably expect a one year rolling or 2 at best.

15.) 15 Jan 2018 19:04:41
It might be redundant saying it in chugsy’s defence now, but he’s right about spreading the cost of the transfer over several years.

There was an article recently which explained Wolves have done something slightly similar with some of their players.

16.) 15 Jan 2018 21:29:09
Tomorrow, ahem, I mean Greyandredman as your are now:)

It's all just rumours as you say, both for players leaving and joining. So, yes I do think Collins would be a good signing and I do think Worrall could learn from him.

17.) 15 Jan 2018 23:24:52
Duped by the delboy Warburton.

18.) 16 Jan 2018 00:48:03
Steven Caulker on a free could do a job for us I reckon.

Vellios starting. We got our wish.

1.) 30 Jan 2018 19:02:32
Eric out for darikwa and fox still in?

2.) 30 Jan 2018 19:04:30
Only gone and dropped Eric.

29 Jan 2018 09:27:44
Looking at the teams left in the cup draw.

Be disappointed if Hull draw one of the following teams.

Millwall or Rochdale
Sheff Wed.

All should be winnable to us and would have been a giod route to the quarter's.

1.) 29 Jan 2018 11:09:17
We ‘should’ have beaten Hull - and according to Worrall we were pre match favourites - we won’t even beat a pub team if we turn thinking we have an easy winnable game!

2.) 29 Jan 2018 11:19:24
You say win able to us but i think that is disrespectful to the teams that are left wigan have done fantastic to beat 2 prem teams newport did well against spurs and who is to say if we got to the next round one of those teams coukd of knocked us out. No game is winable if you don't turn up for the fight

16 Jan 2018 15:38:38
What would your reactions to this suggestion as a short term goalkepper fix and to help develop Smith.
Rob Green looks surplus at Huddersfield. A loan till season end.

1.) 16 Jan 2018 16:48:11
Not a bad shout mate very experienced just ashame wat happened to devries after leaving us he never got a shout at Celtic cracking keeper I believe he was our player of the season, how old would he be now

2.) 16 Jan 2018 17:19:22
Just turned 110!!! 😂😂😂

3.) 16 Jan 2018 17:31:03
Devries certainly commanding the defence. I can still hear him now shouting his orders. Top keeper

4.) 16 Jan 2018 18:14:32
Agreed mate. was a great stopper for us!!

5.) 16 Jan 2018 19:54:03
Don't feel sorry for dervries,he went there for money,he's quite happy picking up his big paycheck for warming the bench.
Could have stayed and played regular football, just like his countryman at spurs, who preferred money instead of playing for Swansea.

6.) 16 Jan 2018 20:53:03
Just a thought, maybe he expected to be No 1.

14 Jan 2018 10:14:03
Its amazing how many contrasting views there is on here about yesterdays performance and individual performances. Stats don't lie at the end of the day and basically we was very poor yesterday and Karanka as a huge job on his hands.

Possession is a stat that can easy be read wrong. Our possession is high but that's in our own half with huge amounts of sidewards/ backwards passing. We need to have more possession up field.
The side didn't look like a side that outplayed Arsenal just 6 days before. We play so negative and are scared to shoot.

4 perfomances stood out for good and bad reasons.

Smith - improving but his distribution of the ball is shocking. Even including his shirt passing to defenders . His distribution is 50% . Any goalkick over 30 yards he makes his accuracy is shocking. He cannot pick a play out in a long pass only theres.

Cash - his performance was a disaster. He tries but is a headless chicken. Amazingly he only completed 15 passes all game. And was dispossed 5 times which started key breaks of attack by them. Cannot start next game against wolves after yesterdays performance.

Mancienne - our vest player by miles yesterday. Near 90% pass rate which includes 10 out of 15 long passes be completed. Maybe should take Smiths goalkicks . Only downfall is lack of vocal leadership across the backline.

Brereton - Terry and Chester did there homework and out experienced him. But when running into trouble he was able to play his passes back out of danger. This boy as a big future although i don't think it will be with us. He's going places ( top 10 prem side) .
He seems loyal but soon will have a major decision to make. Stay and help our cause but he needs to be mindful of the time needed to put us in the championship top 2. Its seasons away if where honest. Or should he take big prem money and secure a future for his family and start targeting his own individual goals. Play in prem. Regular prem games. England senior caps.
This boy as a major future and hopefully nottingham forest don't hold his future back.

1.) 14 Jan 2018 10:24:53
If Brereton goes to a big Premier club he'll be another Bamford, so I don't see the point. He should stay with us for 3 years and get into the Premiership that way and play regularly. Manc is a natural sweeper and only has had a few bad games since he joined us, but he should not be captain. I agree about Cash but to me both he and Dowell need Bridcutt around because he plays the simple passes so well - they flounder without him. The game was crying out for changes at 55 minutes, and Karanka brought our subs on far too late for them to make any impression, like most of our managers have done over the last 10 years. Our problems remain what they always were and we were lucky not to ship more goals as Villa attacking were much more of a threat than we were.

2.) 14 Jan 2018 10:25:39
Well I hope he has a better plan for Wolves because they ran around looking like a bunch of headless chickens with no idea where to go which I can’t blame them for how many different managers they’ve had even though There a young team and I would of personally gave Brazil the job as like someone said he knows the youngsters inside out and they know is football but we will see who Karanka brings in

3.) 14 Jan 2018 11:39:38
Cash isn't meant to be passing? He's meant to be tearing up defences and he looked incredible doing that in the first half.

What a player we have on our hands! :)

4.) 14 Jan 2018 13:02:43
So 10 years of managers are all wrong about subs and your right, hahahhahahhahahahaha.

You do have an obsession with them mate.

Im struggling to think of how many crosses we got in the box, no one supplying these and we will founder. Hopefully people can have a lot more patience with this manager than they've had with the others.

5.) 14 Jan 2018 14:11:07
Cash is not ment to be passing says no22. What a load of garbage.
Hes ment to put crosses into the box in threatening areas. Crosses are passes no22.
I think no22 you need to learn the basics before you comment. Someone who runs all match into trouble us not a amazing player. Cash works hard all day log but his end product is shocking.

6.) 14 Jan 2018 14:22:17
NO22 🎣😀

7.) 14 Jan 2018 14:24:50
I mean I’d like to see some of you lot play in the championship the way you moan about a lack of end product from a young player!! Get off his back and support the team. So what we lost yesterday? AK hasn’t had time to implement his game plan and hasn’t had time to buy the players he wants. By the end of the season this team will be in the top 10

8.) 14 Jan 2018 14:43:58
Heard all that before over and over again and again 😴 redlad what do you think is so different about this manager to the last 20 we’ve had and what makes you think fans will give him a chance if he doesn’t do well over the next 10 games

9.) 14 Jan 2018 15:26:22
How long before you started taking digs at Df Skegsjay?, was it straightaway, a few months in, or?

10.) 14 Jan 2018 15:43:19
Our fans are the biggest issue.
Yesterday a group who sit behind me in Trent End were saying within 5 minutes that AK was too negative and playing to similar to MW. They booed at half time! Then said we needed to get Clough on to create. I took great pride in informing them that Clough had been on since the start and had been one of our better players in the first half then they started discussing that Clough should come off as they didn’t notice him. they spent most the first half talking about Jack Grelishs socks.
Some of our fans never give players or managers a chance and don’t even actually watch the games but just chat rubbish. They need banging especially as I know it is these fans who will Be first to boo managers and judge and help pressurise both our players and the board.

11.) 14 Jan 2018 15:47:28
From the moment I heard is name lol 🤮but when he done well I think it was all of 2 games I crazily praised him I want Karanka to do well I’m just saying what you and most of the fans have said before over the years and managers that if he doesn’t do well after 10 games 🔥ed

12.) 14 Jan 2018 16:32:07
Hello GingerK. Tough if you don't like what I say about subs. It's a banter site, and you moaned about the same issue when we were allowed to give live feedback on the previous clubsite. I stand by what I say. Get used to it.

13 Jan 2018 08:56:33
So will everyone be putting a forest 1-0 win on there coupons todays.
Karanka used to muster a lot if injury time robberies with Middlesbrough.

1.) 13 Jan 2018 09:42:55
Although i will go for a Forest win i do not think A K has had enough time for us not to let in any goals.

You say he mustered a lot of injury time robberies with Middlesbrough, that suggests he is a lucky manager rather than a good manager , if that is the case Long may he be lucky with Forest.

2.) 13 Jan 2018 10:39:47
Bridcutt will not be risked today because of an injury he has picked up, so our midfield is likely to be based on Vaughan, Cash and Osborn again. My view is that Karanka will insist of everybody defending in the first half with perhaps a few break outs. If we can keep the goals out for 45 minutes then he might switch to attack. Someone has to be on Grealish all the time and let's hope we don't concede free kicks around the penalty area if Millsy is used. I'd be happy with a draw and no goals conceded. I think it all depends whether Villa are up for it, and I think our manager is way ahead of theirs.

3.) 13 Jan 2018 10:42:46
I will take lucky greyman. I think we are owed a bit.

4.) 13 Jan 2018 11:38:21
I know Bruce ain’t everyone’s cup of tea but his championship record can’t be disputed. Another manager who gets that being hard to beat in he championship is the first steps on the yellow brick road to promotion.

5.) 13 Jan 2018 12:15:35
We will see 2star I think we’ve said that about the last 20 managers in 20 years 🙂

6.) 13 Jan 2018 12:56:13

Yes i will be happy with a lucky manager, but i think A K is a good manager aswell.

7.) 13 Jan 2018 16:02:22
Darren can you list those last minute robberies?

Cash was garbage, gives ball away far to easy.
Brereton was in terry and chesters pockets all game.
Mancienne if you watch the game again was our best player.

Alot is needex and a dip in the transfer/loan market needed badly. We are carrying to much hangers on.
