I am afraid Montanier will be gone by end of October unless he starts to turn things round. Our owner is a man with no patience, no CEO, no FD and no idea!

The sooner he sells the club the better. Let's hope it is soon.

Tuesday showed us just how far we have dropped. We are a million miles from the Premiership and we were probably half a million miles away when he bought the club for a knockdown price from Mrs Doughty.

We have gone backwards off the pitch and on the pitch over the last 4 disastrous years of Al Hasawi ownership.

I like PM and think he has brought in some great players with very little money. Give him time and he will sort out the defence because that is all that is missing. Be shocking to see him go, totally unjustified. COYR'S.

Here we go again. I give up I just give up. Just stick together as a club.

Nothing wrong with Montanier in my view. Needs time. Lichaj needs to pick his game up and stop wandering all over the pitch. Mills needs to be aware where the opponent is in and around the box. and to hoof the ball out of defence when under pressure instead of trying to play it out. Pereira (spelling? ) needs to be played on the flank. Benny needs to takle more (and play to the whistle, not wait around for a foul being given when the opposition have buggered off down the pitch to score) . Kasami was lost yesterday against Weds, worst game for us.
I am sure we'll get there.

PM is definitely a good manager and made some frugal acquisitions, he's still sorting his best 11 so we (including Fawaz) need to be patient. To say he'll be gone by end of Oct is crazy.

Our new signings are still finding their feet but admit it is frustrating to lose from a winning position again. Looking forwards to Hobbs, Vaughn and Britt being available again.

Keep going PM, enjoying an attacking brand of footy.

May I just point out that the Arsenal starting XI on Tuesday cost them £95m, our starting XI cost £2.4m (give or take a few quid) . Are we really criticising Fawaz for the widening budget between Champions League and Football League over the last 10 years?

We have wasted some money, for example the Algerian lads, he has appointed and sacked some rubbish managers and we don't pay our bills on time. all fair! But the fact that a team can change 11 players and still turn out a side that's worth more than 2/ 3 of the squads in the Championship combined isn't his fault!

Despite coming out of the embargo we still aren't good enough to go up. If we'd kept Burke and had Assombalonga fit then maybe.

Are we a million miles from the premier league? I'm not so sure. We are a million miles from teams like Arsenal but if we achieved promotion we wouldn't be competing with teams like them (and that Arsenal team would have hammered most in the championship) Our competitors would be in the bottom half.

Our first half performance against recently relegated Norwich was encouraging. We more than held our own against them, it was only in the second half their quality shone through. And this is a good indication as to where we are.

Yes we have some player issues and everyone on here has slightly different opinions to what they are but that's football. Overall I am happy with our start and with PM. After last season it is refreshing to see some attacking football and even though we are going to lose a few this year I feel optimistic about each game. An optimism that was eroded by this time last season.

Good post that ginger.

Reference Mills most teams he's played for have been poor at the back.

We should play with wing backs with mancienne, perquis and Hobbs.

Agree ludicrous to say PM will be gone soon but his constant rotation of the back four is becoming frustrating and making him look a bit of a Baffoon - which is isn't.

He's had enough to time to settle this back four quandary, time it was settled now as settling should help us to progress.

Sell your best player and bring in Lica, Dumitru and Carayol.

As I said the average players for a potential world class player, no thank you.

I wouldn't have sold Burke for 30 million.

He is now terrorising the Bundesliga.

Well done Fawaz another good bit of business 😝.

Bluebird you talk nonsense. For a club coming out of a embargo and losing money hand over fist a month we had to sell a teenager for 13m. We would not have been offered much more.
last season everyone would have been happy selling him for 3m a few games later there moaning about 13m.
forget Burke it was good business for our club (fact) . It garentees not going into a embargo for a long time. Which is good going forward and more attractive investment to sponsors, takeover bidders or invester.

Darren, you're spot on there.

As crap as it is you're right.

With 17,000 home fans are income is dropping.

No Darrenforest1976 it is you who is talking nonsense. Selling your asset is not the way forward.

Ask yourself why Forest were in an embargo in the first place and then ask why crowds are falling.

As fans we want entertainment selling Burke was another Fawaz faux pas.

Darren you are wasting your time on this argument mate, next you will accused of being a happy clapper, being stupid and then you'll be told to wake up. Surely by now you must know that Fawaz is to blame for everything that's gone wrong at forest over the last 20 years :)

I blame "The Curse of Billy Davies"!
We do not need a striker we need an Exorcist!
As Mad Dog is St Mirren bound maybe the ghost will finally be exorcised by the Monk of Paisley Abbey?
