Burnley might bid 5m for Lansbury according to reports

Burnley look set for the drop, so why would he want to go to them.

If we were to ask for any of their players instead who would you want?

Improved wages and some might say a better chance of promotion than us?? Not sure i'd really want any Burnley players as part of a 'deal'

A friend of a friend of mine is an agent for a number of lower-league players and he seems to think Antonio will be gone in the Summer.

Might just be talk but numerous Premiership clubs will undoubtedly be in for him and I'd imagine if they meet a certain price he will be off.

Dare 2 - yes i'd love ings at the club but I thought you were asking for realistic options.

I'd swap him for George Boyd, got an EYE for goal

McCormack went to Fulham for 10m. So bidding starts at 10m. Can't reinvest it. He's under contract.
May aswel try to keep him. If we get offer of 5m for lansbury I hope it's from villa. So we can get Gardner plus cash.

I realise it is a bit unrealistic, but if Burnley really want Lansbury then tell them give us Ings or go away. They would either go away or offer more money, why let Lansbury go cheap.

{Ed003's Note - Ing's is out of contract so will decide himself where to go.}

{Ed003's Note - just compo to pay for him wherever he decides dare.}

I think both Antonio for 6m and Lansbury 4m will see them both gone in summer, be very surprised if we hang onto them.

As most of the team and fans know we won't be bidding for automatic promotion next year, so if a PL club come in they will want to go and I also think both will struggle in PL teams.

Would be a shame to see two quality championship players go, but the team has been unbalanced most of the season and relied to heavily on these two performing week in week out.

The FFP embargo may well eventually be a blessing in disguise as forest will have to look at unproven young hungry players to build the team around.

Your right here. Almost pointless having these high end champ lower prem players, we seem to actually become less cohesive- for some strange reason.

If I were Antonio I wouldn't want to go to a club Harry had messed up.

Burnley have a wage structure that is comparable with Forest's in terms of turnover. SP confirmed today on radio that Burnley would not break it to sign a player. How is Lansbury going to better his wages by moving there?
