Hello Reds
Reason on here is because my uncle of 89 years died Tuesday 15th January.2019.
A really true red.
He started supporting them in 1938
Through all the war years through the 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s and untill 4 years ago when his health took its toll. He had a season ticket for 50 or more years
Travelled all the UK and Europe through the glory years went to all the finals. Was one of the first supporters to buy a season ticket in the Clough stand. I had the privilege to be on that journey with him from the age of seven in 1959.All our family are season ticket holders because of him. His name Jack Parr
Hope the result today against Wigan
Has sent him off a happy man.
