We really should stop feeding gloom and despondency. The club will survive and will do ok this season . By that I mean top half. I've watched ten other teams in the league and to be honest not much different to one another at this stage of the season.
Its not going to be an easy season that's for sure but I don't see the best players are going to be sold ,otherwise they would have gone by now.
Lets see after ten games where we are and if the team can pull together we will see some good football.

Jav576 if I remember right after 10 games last season we were top or near as and any sensible fan new it wouldn't last due to performances and we no how that ended up so far its performances that's a worry me not league position can't see much improvement

That's what makes this site - Nigelaine must see the same football as I do, but actually sees something totally different! Pato has been frustratingly ordinary (to be generous) apart from his first season with us. And Lansbury may be inconsistent but his potential is much greater, although I do agree he can go if we get good money.

Predictably Fox took must of the arrows for his performance against Walsall (personally I don't think he was that bad), Patterson however was truly dreadful, couldn't beat his man, hold up the ball, pass incisively, terrible.what the hell's happened to him?

Just checked out this guys stats as well,not great to be honest!! Looks Like he was out injured for a nice bit,17 games,with a broken ankle?? So unless DF and Co know something we don't I hope this is not the guy to "excite" the fans!!

Could anyone who sad he's scored 12 goals in 15 matches in ligue 1 tell me what site you went on.ive looked all over and from what I've seen he's only scored 2 goals for Lille.

Correct, it was Michael Frey. A contact at CG I know says the talks went well, but the player is unsure of coming to the Championship. Another back-up option is being considered, but many fans here wouldn't be too happy at the name I have been given. I won't embarrass the player or NFFC by giving his name here, but another "Robert Rosario" comes to mind.

21 goals in 94 appearances altogether. Not sure if the fans will be going wild as most haven't heard of him. I have and he's got promise but we've seen players before that just went with the flow and instead of becoming stars became ordinary players.

If he is unsure then we shouldn't even being pursuing this further in my opinion especially when DF said he only wants players who 'wear their heart on their sleeve and want to play for the club'.

Frey didn't score 12 goals in Ligue 1, he scored 2. The stats on his Wikipedia page (clearly what a lot of people are going off) were wrong and have now been corrected. If he'd scored 12 in 15 for Lille, they'd hardly be getting rid would they.
