Is there a reason why a few of our recent loan players have not performed as expected? Jonny Williams and Ince spring to mind.
Any thoughts?

And Barrow and Akpom.

Bsered is right, this does feel like we lost today. Great to see Chris Cohen back again though, let's hope he can stay fit now.
We are certainly missing our injured strikers, and Mendez does not seem to be the answer, he seems to have lost some form.
Oh well, good unbeaten run, although I agree with most, if the Manager was a little braver we may have gained more points recently.

We all want success for our beloved Reds, that's why emotions run wild on the Banter page.
It wasn't that long ago we had beat QPR and put in a great performance against Middlesborough. Give the Management some slack, and continue to believe. Without belief we have nothing. COYRS Forest 2-1 Derby.

And with dougie we will have league 1 football next season.
We were lucky against qpr. never looked like scoring until green was sent off.

2.) 05 Nov 2015 21:36:03
What's the answer then uptheforest? What will change our season?

3.) 05 Nov 2015 21:41:37
The answer for UTF watching the Pies will change his season!

4.) 05 Nov 2015 21:43:45
Sack everyone and stay at home, easy when you think about it.

5.) 05 Nov 2015 22:00:22
Getting a manager in that has a better win ratio than dougie will change our season. someone who knows how to win games rather than trying not to lose games. it won't be hard to find someone with a better ratio than 29%. people slate lambert yet he had a 40% + 3 different teams he's had over 40%.49% win ratio norwich including time in the prem.

6.) 05 Nov 2015 22:16:18
If that happens great uptheforest. I have a feeling there will be a few more twists and turns before a new Manager comes in though. Fawaz appears to be feeling the heat, and his next decision will impact Forest way beyond this season or the next. I love Fawaz for saving our club, and don't want him to leave, but fear the worse.

7.) 05 Nov 2015 22:48:15
But unlucky in games against Bolton, Burnley and Huddersfield when minutes away from winning. We compete in most games and in my opinion don't get over the line because we just lack quality in the side. Quality that is injured or suspended.
I feel the talk of league 1 in the first week of November is panicking to say the least.
UTF, last season if I remember right you were saying it was players not putting it in for SP and deflecting flak from him but this season because you dislike DF, forget the players it's just down to management, tactics and formations.
Admittedly I'm not a super fan that's seen every minute of every game this season but the games I have we just lack quality up front.
Quality that would have secured several more points and have us sitting mid table which I'm sure is where most people expected to be.

8.) 05 Nov 2015 23:40:56
It was a well know fact that some players under Pearce wernt up for it and you could see that out on the pitch, but tho season fans are saying they are playing for df but the results aren't showing this. which goes back to tactics, formations, selection and midweek prep for the games.

We were also lucky not to have got smashed against bristol and sheffield wednesday. If we had lambert or Pearson and they struggled then I would be more concerned about what's going on behind the scenes, but until we get a manager who knows how to win and succeed in something, it's down to managers not getting it right or not being good enough to control players.

9.) 05 Nov 2015 23:55:26
Getting that quality that's injured back on the pitch and performing is the big if. We are putting a lot of faith in them turning the season around. What if they can't deliver. Real mess then.

10.) 06 Nov 2015 01:18:45
Syred, I admit I am one of those putting faith in the return of quality injured players.
For me it's the bad injuries to key players coupled with the transfer embargo which is the root cause to the current problems.
The boom or bust attitude to the running of the club in the past has come back to haunt us. Would a new manager get goals from the current crop of players?

11.) 06 Nov 2015 06:01:47
reid and cohen will not be the same players they been out a year, plus both injury prone. why do people rely on these comming back, some on here live in fantasy land, get real, reid cohen are not going to last more than a few games, if that, get them off the payroll, and get new players in. sentiments out the door, tonite will be the turning point for lots of things,

12.) 06 Nov 2015 09:16:02
In my opinion players that are put out to play should be good enough to win games, I don't buy this relying on injured players to come back and things will change, either DF has lost the players just like under SP or these players need kicking out and a full overhaul of everything, top to bottom and we might get somewhere.

13.) 06 Nov 2015 12:19:49
The match at Sheff Wed turned on 2 incidents. Ward missing a header which was easier to score and Emtimov cocking up. We never looked like losing this game until it opened up at the end when we chased the game. Most matches I have seen have been similar.

We need a cutting edge which is hardly DF's fault given what he has available!

14.) 06 Nov 2015 12:53:46
And there it is Redinexile nail on head. fams are saying we were unlucky in these games because we could/should of scored more and that was the case for sheff wed, they had the far better chances but fluffed them.

Morning fellow Reds fans. It is a difficult time to support Nottingham Forest because many supporters have witnessed the glory days. As the great Jimmy Greaves said "It's a funny old game" when you look at the teams that have played well at Forest, what is that made them great? Apart from a few names there has never been real superstars, certainly not in the last 15 years. What was the 1996 team able to do so well, what did they have that the current players don't? I don't have the answers, and more importantly several managers have not found the answer. Do we as Forest fans expect too much? Look at Chelsea this season compared to last year. What makes teams drop in performance? Our current team should be a top 6 team with the International talent we have, along with the young talent. How are we going to improve? I think that if we are patient this team could easily make the top ten this year, and if injuries come back make the top 6. One thing is for sure, I will always support Nottingham Forest which ever league they play in. COYRS!

Nice one Faz! The situation is nowhere near as bad as when we were losing to Accrington Stanley and Yeovil respectively. We've had rotten luck with injuries, what other Championship club could cope with losing so many players. So yes Faz I have supported Forest since 1977 (50 now).

Was privileged to witness some amazing high's, and unfortunately. desperate lows however,no matter how bad it gets, like you I will ALWAYS support the ONE AND ONLY ORIGINAL REDS! (getting weepy now!) lol!

2.) 28 Oct 2015 12:23:57
Most managers now days worry too much about the opposition and what they did in their last game. Old Big Head had a style of playwhen we had the ball, and a formation/ shape when we didn't have the ball.

Keep it simple pass the ball and move. Let the opposition worry about you!

If DF spent more time on the training ground practicing this and moving the ball at pace and a lot more movement off the ball, we wouldn't have to worry about other teams, because they will be scared themselves at the thought of playing us, like teams were last season playing Bournemouth.

Football is a simple game, so keep it simple.

3.) 28 Oct 2015 23:08:03
He's a pants manager.

Pathetic football pAthetic results .

Easily a mid table team even with the injuries.

I think he is good enough to play for the trees under current circumstances. If I had to bring someone on between him and Dexter I would prefer Lars.

I would go with names that are already in the coaching set up, with perhaps even Andy Reid assisting if it's possible without badges etc.
