I've heard from a reliable source in Middlesbrough that Karanka wants to take Adam Clayton and Patrick Bamford to Forest. Both are not getting games and were both important players under Karanka during his spell there. Looks like a loan could be beneficial to both clubs as Pulis wants to trim the wage bill at Boro'
Aitor also has a CB at the top of his wish list, despite him not wanting Worrall to leave at any cost.

Reliable source? What the Yorkshire post and Northern Echo who are both running the story. Lazy journalists as usual link new manager with old clubs playing staff.

I’d heard from a Boro’ fan that gets good info, that AK enquired about Clayton and Bamford yesterday, before even meeting the Forest squad.
Then again, I have since seen a number of reports linking numerous Boro’ players. Two of which are also Clayton and Bamford. I was told exclusively these players and not the others from the report?
So in fairness, it remains to be seen what / if any truth there is in this or if it is just second hand info from lazy journo.
Either way, I’d love to see Clayton and Bridcutt in front of the defence, may stop us conceding.

We was always going to be linked to 'boro players. Always happens when a new manager takes over at a club. Lazy journalism as per usual. Until anything is signed take the reports with a pinch of salt.

I’d heard there was some firm interest in Clayton and Bamford, haven’t seen the article you mention above however which is ironic.
Both Bamford and Clayton were first team regulars but now cannot get in to the side under Pulis. Whether the article or source is true, I could see this actually happening, particularly if on loan.
