I can't help thinking we've made a mistake appealing. On the one hand, I like the rebellious nature and will illustrate how broken everything is when relegation is decided post season the courts. On the other though, I can't help feeling we are going to get docked more points and it will weigh on the players minds when we need them focused. No such thing as a free hit and if anything, we've already seen how vindictive the PL can be and how penalties are made up on the spot. Hope I'm proven wrong.

Anyone see our wage bill, somewhere in region of 95mil a year! Puts us tenth in league on spend yet we in bottom 3.

I'm thinking the same way as you RSAN. I'm in two minds about this appeal too - but overall I'm erring on the side of the fact that we could be making a big mistake. Maybe it would have been best to take the points deduction 'on the chin', draw a line in the sand and then move on with everyone knowing where we stand.

I am going to get a lot of disapproval with this post but here goes. I'm glad we got 4 points and not 3. At least now we are in the relegation zone and our players can finally wake up and realise the danger they are in. I'm hoping this lights a fire under them and we finally see some proper fight, drive and commitment. Not strolling around the middle of the park and conceding in the 85 min plus every single game. Time to put your bodies on the line and actually fight for it. If not then frankly we deserve to go down. Luton are decimated, have a tenth of our budget but they leave nothing on the pitch. I hope now we might start to see the same.

I hate to say it but We've got no chance on Saturday. It'll be a dog fight and they want it much much more than us. Complacency, individual errors and dare I say it a little bit of arrogance has got us here and now its too late. We've basically sleptwalk into the championship and even putting the horrendous refs performances one side, can we blame anyone but ourselves. Weve spent 30m + on a player who never really wanted to join us and had to be persuaded to come, has barely played due to other commitments and will probably be strolling around half obliviously come Sat. I imagine half of the players will have eyes on their next moves and I'll be glad when they are gone to be honest. I'd take 11 players who want to wear the shirt playing in league one over a few individuals that I won't name putting in minimal effort and are disinterested in the prem.

Great result. I think the league might be a bit corrupt though. Another clear penalty not given. It's okay this time because we won but I think we need some answers really. We have Boly sent off for getting the ball (not overturned), Awoniyi penalty x 2, and then William's today. I wish they would just say that they have nipped out and aren't watching as at least that would be honest. They are either I. Corrupt or ii. Inept.

I think that's us lads. can't complain about the effort. I think there's a few things (Toney moving the ball, Dubravka clearing out Awoniyi) where it could have gone our way. I think we are easy prey and we'll be made an example of. If it's one small crumb of comfort, we don't really like the premier league really and it's a bit corrupt. More teams will found out the same soon.
