Yates is clearly the heart beat of the team, look at games last season with and without. Worrall gives 100 % as does mckenna. I think both would make way when, better defenders are fit but key parts of the squad. Boly wasn't any better today and doesn't "bleed" for the cause.

I’m not saying Yates and Worrall are bad players, but in this league consistency is key, we need players that can perform at a high level consistently and for me Yates and Worrall can’t do that. Let me put it this way, if Yates and Worrall were new signings (so taking sentiment out of it) would you be of the opinion that these are the players that are going to progress us and get us challenging higher up the table? Or should we be looking to do better….

It's the first match of the season, a very difficult trip at Arsenal, give them a chance.

Yates was a massive loss when he got injured last year and Worrall improved as the season went on. These are 2 players who are always up for the fight.

You’re talking like yesterday was the first game they’d ever played for us. I can judge their consistency on last season too. Many players out there who are up for the fight but also have premier league quality. Need to be aiming higher than Yates and Worrall if you ever want to progress in this league.

Worrall is psycho mark 2 and for me was our best defender for Forest yesterday………. made some good tackles and above all he nutted one of the Arsenal attackers while defending a corner (Glasgow kiss) my favourite current Forest player psycho, psycho, psycho……. Worrall and Yates would be first names on the team sheet for me ????❤️.

Worrall did his usual for their first goal and got drawn towards the ball when Boly already had the man covered. If he'd of dropped back and defended the space, they wouldn't have scored.

Going to agree with skegs on this one……. Stuart (psycho) Pearce was the original recking machine, just like to see passion, heart, fight and aggression in our players, just the way I am…. ……. without that it’s a none contact sport and very very dull, sorry lads but in my opinion it’s mans game, I even like to see the lasses get stuck in and good luck to them for Wednesday against the Aussies.
