Nottingham forest, west brom, burnley and derby are all tracking reading winger Gareth mccleary. Would love to have him back! What do you think ed?

1.) This mans pace and guile has never been replaced. Get him back at any cost never should have been allowed to leave in the first place
2.) I don't know about getting him back at any cost I don't think he's that good.
3.) I hadn't heard owt but I mentioned him on this site a few weeks ago because he would slot in nicely on the right. ( pearce came home reid came home Wilson came home so come on gareth get back where you belong )
4.) Meh. he had one great spell for us 3 years ago. Hasn't shown that form for Reading, no guarantee he'd be anything other than average or very inconsistent.
5.) Hasn't shown form for reading? Went to both the reading games last season and he looked dangerous on both occasions. Bit of quality around him and he would begin to perform again.

Played his best football at forest, lost his way a bit, would have him back but not at any cost
7.) Gunter made mccleary look better than he is he had a good few months but hasn't done anything special since
{Ed034's Note - mccleary has become a fans favourite at reading. gunter is a good full back and having that behind you helps all wingers, but it is mccleary who has made himself a very good player, not gunter

James tavernier will sign before the end of the transfer window from Newcastle as back up for lichaj and a possible option to push into first choice right back
1.) I don't understand what you mean by 'possible option' to break into the 1st team
Surely every member of the squad has this option
Don't make any sense.

3.) He can also play centre defence and right mid, could be a good utility player to cover injuries and suspensions, but he is very injury prone

Hearing reports that Lansbury will be returning sooner than expected, and he may be returning in 3 weeks! Don't shoot the messenger but if this is correct then what a boost It would be to our promotion hopes

What did everyone think of ince today? I think he was our best player today
1.) To be fair he didn't have much competition did he ?
2.) Thought he played very well given the circumstances, going to be an exciting player for us.
3.) You can see the difference in class when he gets the ball. everything is just smooth as you like. i don't make predictions very often but watch him and forest rip brentford a new on on wed

2.) Sidwell would be ace. No to cole
3.) Or Matt Etherington/Damien Duff would do a job for a season or 2
4.) No to any of them. Duff past it, Etherington has problems, Sidwell is solid but think there is better out there.
Do we have any real leads or is it all guess work? As SP doesn't start till 1st July will targets be agreed now? Makes sense but not seen any speculation that I believe will happen
5.) Left side of joe and ashley cole wouldn't be too shabby would it.

Ed do you think dyer would be a good addition to the squad? I think he would be as he has the pace and trickery that we need
{Ed034's Note - yes I do. Ive said before he frightens full backs and can really stretch teams. He can be very hot and cold but that's why he is championship and not premiership.
1.) I reckon dyer is perfect, we need pace to split defenses and he has it.
2.) Hated him when Leicester came to the City Ground, but he was a menace - would be a good signing to rotate with Mackie and Paterson.

What an amazing transfer window it would be if we get him!
What a great day of transfers, djebbour and gomis signed, all we need now is Vaughan and it will be a hugely successful window, and it would be a bonus if we get fox
