Just like to say that as a club it is all about us the fans, players, management and staff all the peripheral stuff is just a distraction and does not benefit us as a club! I for one do not care whether we are hated or loved la Cloughie. Do you think the great man would worry himself about the opinions of small minded folk who were not fit enough to lace his boots, he was a winner by letting the outside world worry about him not the other way round; get behind the team, sing your hearts out and the rest will take care of its self.

1.) Fine post OP. A couple of disgruntled journalists bundled off the gravytrain of free tickets and generous hospitality can launch what appears to be publicity nightmare but is really a couple of guys and their mates firing off spiteful emails.

2.) Spot on, could not agree more. Look at all the positives and forget all that nonsense going on in the background. Would we all care a hoot if we end up winning promotion? think not.

3.) The concerns about the club's management come from respectable newspapers, not gossip rags. Setting ourselves up as" us against the world" is very childish and only works, if it works at all, so long as we are doing well on the pitch. There will come a time in the season when things don't go so well on the field, and then what will happen

{Ed034's Note - respectable hahaha really??? lol

4.) So, since when are the Guardian and the Telegraph not respectable? Come on, be fair!

{Ed034's Note - when has any national daily been fair?? this isn't the time or place to name reasons why they are not, but it would take me seconds to find reasons why they are not, just by a quick search

5.) Respectable papers not gossip rags? that's a bit of an old school statement they are all pretty much the same now, and I don't mean respectable.

6.) And when we reach that time in the season when a few things don't go our way I know what I'll be doing--singing a bit louder and getting behind the team.

{Ed034's Note - and that is why I enjoy mr t's posts.

7.) Youuu redddssssss

8.) Some of my posts might be misunderstood, a bit blinkered or a bit controversial but they've all got good intentions at heart ( or I could be just having a laugh? ) thanks ed lol

9.) Not enough e's in reds, I tried shouting it as you spelt it and it doesn't sound right, sorry to be picky.

{Ed034's Note - lol

10.) 2tone having a laugh, i'm peeing myself at the grisley thought.

11.) If you are already singing to your max, which you should be, you can't sing any louder.

12.) I can't shout at maximum all the time, i'd hurt my teddies ears.

13.) Teddies are only toys, they can't hear. and cuddly toys are for children and women.

14.) Your saying you take your ted to the match, what a sight that would be. Take it your not there tonight, a long way for ted to go, and these Charlton men would love to see you.

15.) Are you for real? Havnt you seen Ted? next you'll tell me Santa isn't real and the Easter bunny is a sex toy?

16.) You're correct, i'm not there- are you? If you are, well done for supporting the boys down there but what the heck are you doing posting on here about teddy bears? Go and enjoy yourself.

17.) I am enjoying myself, watching you grab the dangled carrot. seems to me that you brought up the subject of teddies not me. xx

18.) Oh the joy of quality banter? 'such fun' as quite a funny comedian says with a hint of sarcasm. whatever makes you happy, by the way did you know we're fourth?

Ed am I right in assuming that if Hobbs is injured he would not be able to pass a medical and this would not be resolved until after the window, therefore Reading or anyone else for that matter may be deterred. It is probably irrelevant any way if the sentiments about Hobbs are that he wants to say nothing Bruce can do about that and if he is injured he will not be recalled.

{Ed034's Note - teams could ask for previous medical. obviously it doesn't matter to us

It's all about attitude, the two managers were in total opposites - Billy up for it and Sam made excuses, translates into a 5-0 thrashing. Well done lads keep the professionalism to the end and we won't be far away from reaping the rewards.

Off to the CG tomorrow first home game of the season can't wait and I too think we will be all right. I would also partner Lascelles with Jara and play cohen in front with harding on left. Hope patto plays tomorrow as I think he has the ability to create and score with mackie and cox up front. Lansbury and Challobah in the mid with Lansbury in the middle.

Saw game today and Tuesday, much better more of a threat, 4 away points not a bad week! Chalobah needs to watch his enthusiasm, can't fault his attitude rather see him on the pitch though. Radi made a difference, still need to tighten up on the right flank far too much space afforded to oppos! Great atmosphere and fantastic support keep it up lads we are purring nicely! coyr

{Ed034's Note - last three games have been at bone to derby followed by two away games in a week. To come away with 7 points is a great return.

Also just found out there is a VW rally, about 2000 vehicles which means congestion and the local police not having enough resources, suppose to finish at 6. There are also several other events in Hove (adjacent to Brighton) so it looks like one big party in Brighton this weekend all of whom will be celebrating a FOREST win (NOT)! :)
