Just a way of looking at things from different angles
Would check Adams as a free signing be what we need?
Is he good enough to even make the bench stronger from an attacking point of view?
We all know nothing is fre in football?
To me it would be a bad signing as I don't see him bringing anything to our club that would make us better?
Personally think we can do better.

Forest need a reliable Striker who can play more than half a season.

Unless we can find a hidden agent I’m afraid we need to aim out sets at. Adams / bereton types, sometimes they can do ok in the right team.
It’s unlikely we will find a 20 goal a season striker - ithey are likely to select our competitors above us, what we need is 5 or 6 lads who are for between 8 - 12 goals a season each, that strategy helps manage injuries, loss of form etc, eggs in one basket approach no good for us, we need a constant supply of goals from a range of players - goals win games.
