Firstly let me thank Ryan Yates for everything he has done for Forest he always gives his all and bleeds Nottingham Forest

BUT

He is out of his depth in the premier league simple as he runs around like a headless chicken most of the time and gives away free kicks regularly in dangerous positions

When you are as bad at defending set pieces as we are we cannot play him!

Ward Prowse will be licking his loops if Yates name is on our teamsheet

Don't want to be harsh on Ryan but if you look back to the Newcastle game his tango in the box with Dan Burn looks laughable. He seems to just want the duels; look for fouls against him, commit a few and hope that this contribution is enough to stay in the side. Again, I don't want to be hard on him but how many Prem teams would make a bid for him apart from the Blades. Sorry folks. (He'll have a blinder for us Saturday now)!

I think that's completely unfair on one of our best performers over the last season or two.

-2nd most tackles in the Forest team (43) behind Dominguez (45).
-Only Dominguez (527) and MGW (737) in the Forest midfield have completed more passes than Yates (458).
-Excluding defenders, Yates (25) has made more clearances than any other Forest player

He does commit fouls (38), nearly twice as many as the next Forest player, MGW (20), but he's also Forest's most fouled player.

He's a combative player, it's what he does.

Sutton mate. 43 tackles 38 fouls so he's made 5 good tackles. 458 passes where did they end up?. The majority ending up with the opposition no doubt. 38 fouls, runs round like a demented Rhino fouling and giving away free kicks in dangerous areas. Booked virtually every game, served a ban already. Premier league goals 0.Shots and headers, absolutely loads. Lovely lad but so is my next door neighbour. He's nowhere near prem standard. Move him on. The Worrell Yates dayes are finished we need better. ?.

We bought Sangare to be the upgrade in Yates like we bought Murrilo and Niakhate to be an upgrade on Worrall and McKenna they’ve both departed time for Yates to follow

Sangare needs to up his game considerably but there is a premier league player in there

Ryan Yates better suited to Sheff Utd and Luton who imo will both be in the Championship next season which is where we will be if we keep playing him MGW should be made captain! Thanks Ryan but cheerio mate.
