Once again mate. The position i always say, and I'm sure sir brian would agree. The goalkeepers were just amazing. Hardest position on the pitch. Hero or zero. As for ronaldo what an amazing ambassador for the game. And to any young kids out there. Committed to there country diet and training. Just brilliant.

Amazing ambassador? Going to play in the Saudi league and promoting it doesn't seem very ambassadorial to me.

Ronaldo is undoubtedly one of the all time great Bowie mate. However, as a role model I’m not so sure because he ( and a few others, mostly foreigners) set a new standard in dedicated and systematic cheating. The infection spread, inevitably, to English football like a virus which is now a fixed and established part of the game unfortunately.

I enjoyed the Portugal v Slovenia game, both having a go, forwards passing, and route one by Slovenia nearly worked. And the penalty shot out, you would have bet you're house the Slovenian goalie would have saved a couple.
Ronaldo can't help raising his eyes to the big screen in the stadium, to see if the cameras are on him, and the Slovenia supporters I'm sure they was singing a version of " We all live in a yellow submarine? ".
