Happy with a point away from home however I don't see us scoring enough goals to challenge for the play offs and the manager will never change the formation so mid table this season I reckon.

Mid table won’t be enough for Marinakis, last seasons squad was good enough for mid table we’ve surely improved our chances with all the investment? Hopefully we can get it together and win the next two games, it will be a good month if we do.

I would just like to know where the goals are coming from to take us up the table you know goals win you games just saying we had plenty of chances today defence a lot better and there should be plenty of goals in this team we have the players

7 games into the new season and the defence seems sorted despite the Byram set back. Just need GrabOne to get going before Game 10 to silence the doubters. Ossie in tomorrow for extra shooting practice.
Onward and Upward

Or 27 games and still no further forward on delivering an attacking threat despite spending 20+ million on attached . I know red, I sound like a broken record don’t I!

Not really 2star not seen anything exciting myself since the Newcastle and West brom game mind you was never going to be exciting with karanka a very poor mourhinio

why weren't it going to be exciting ?
manager has bought 3 Portuguese flare players plus Soudani, plus Iranian striker on way.
All the other new blood too, should raise hope unless your an eternal pessimist.
As for Mourhinio, would you really want such a mardy ,arrogant sulk at our club ?

Easy to blame the striker, bottom line is they don't get chances.
Today defensively and pressing higher up the pitch,it was a good away performance.
The problem is there's not enough pace to counter attack and hurt the opposition, mainly down to playing two holding midfielders imo.
So all I see is tight games.
Be nice to ditch one of the holders for home games.

79 hope you had plenty of red wine and a good day nobody could blame a striker playing up front for Karanka the goals in his teams come from midfield he has the players but he's not using them right he reminds me of Dougie and montanair rolled into one be very surprised if we get anything from the pigs in the week

Agree.
Would be great to play some one out and out wide to give defence an option to play the ball out and not invite pressure and to create some attacking potential.

Mardy, arrogant, sulk at our club?? No way is there enough people to come on here and be at the club?? 🤣

they may have dominated the game. but if you don't put away your chances, then you need someone who knows how to put the ball in the net.either karanka changes to 2 up front or pack is bags and go.

Huddersfield went up scoring only (was it) 58 goals.they got into the playoffs and even got to the final and won it without scoring a single goal in the playoff games and the final.

Very rare you'll get away with though Sutton.
We were never going to score yesterday, despite having the bulk of possession.

Ff Osborn kicked one straight at the goalkeeper, and sliced another had any of our other forward players had those chances at least one would have been put away.

I don't blame Osbourne for the misses. Nine out of ten times he would have put those away. Seemed over anxious to me and my only criticism of him was regarding the last chance as a low hard ball across the goal would have made a better opportunity. Still cannot understand why Soudani is not in the side. Grabban is struggling with this set up perhaps Soudani getting a start might be the way. Who knows.

Soudani is injured.
Only half chances in my opinion for Osborn,.Not clear cut chances we created, most players just thos,if it had been along the ground he'd have scored.
This is the problem in general though there is not many goal scorers in that side.

Mickn Both Soudani and Murphy are carrying slight injuries. Like you said on another day Osborn might have put them away. Ff was saying we never looked like scoring so in my opinion he is wrong as Osborn had 2 good chances.

18.) 16 Sep 2018
16 Sep 2018 16:37:13
Ff if you view all of the teams chances at best half chances does that mean a clear cut chance in your opinion is no opposition outfield players around their box with their goalkeeper standing to one side waving the attacking player on to score. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

The thing is, Osbourne got himself in to those attacking positions and wasnt afraid to have a shot. Some players bottle it and take a simple pass option so fair play to him.On another day . .
