Maybe if dex keeps himself fit we could use Britt dex and walker upfront next season . Wud be nice to keep Kane and gardener maybe akpom if he scores a few but can't see this happening really. Pleased for walker let's hope the lad gets a run in the team. If we get 65 points plus this season will be a gud return after it looked like we could have been dragged into a battle at the bottom .

Britt will not be back this side of xmas. Another striker on loan is a must. As is a decent left back and an out and out holding midfielder.

Who you reckon we should get in then striker wise keeno. Wat with financial restraints should we go with an experienced 30 something or a young gun from a big club or a lower league wanna be

Striker, left back definitely. We have an abundance of deep lying midfielders, we need another Reid, otherwise we will be consigned to counter attacking football forevermore.

Cjay, do we really have an abundance of deep lying midfielders though??? As far as I'm concerned Lansbury, osbourne, reidy are all better in a forward role. Vaughan I'm not sure is good enough in free and eyes and I'm assuming tesche will be off.

Keeno: Lansbury & Osborn play their football so deep, both keen to offload the ball rather than travel & take players. If their passes don't stick then we are immediately on the back foot. Posession stats of 40% average.They are effectively DMs anyway. We need a player higher up the pitch who is comfortable with the ball at his feet. Our attacking options are almost exclusively out wide.

Can't disagree with that mate. Think a lot of that is tactics too around Lansbury and osbourne. Always think we look a better side when we play 4-1-4-1 instead of two holding midfield. Have two central midfielders pushing forward.

At end of thé day wé were always going to struggle with only 1 decent striker. Now britts out that's cost us a few goals and a few points and agsinst norwich played most of thé game with no striker upfront. Fryatt always injured, blackstock done ok and réally pleased for him but à lot to ask after at least 2 injury plagued seasons and veldjik doesn't appear to be gud enough. Now wé got akpom But only short term and inexperienced. Next season wé need to somehow get a couple décent strikers free. let's just finish season well as dougie has instilled some pride, passion and spirit back into our beloved forest. At least sheep look like they've blown automatic spot, just ashame we didn't use inces skills and potential more.

Stop making excuses. The best coaches perform over 46 matches and get results. Kenny Jackett is one of the best and would get a better tune out of our lot as would any of those coaching the teams above us!

Loved pearces reaction as he would be hurting more than most being forests biggest fan. Also loved fawaz reaction the man is fast becoming a legend. Loved the wally with the brolley first looking worried as we got better then looking distraught as we won, let's hope that knocks the stuffing out of them and they lose their way .that 5 0 is but a distant memory because today especially scoring so late will be hurting the shaggers even more especially as so many thought it would be a walk in the park. Same display against Fulham now please boys. Oh forgot to say uuuuuuuu rrrreeeeddddsssssss

Just watched mr Pearce run up to fanatical a block fans after we scored second goal. Such fecking passion i fecking luv it. I hope it works out for him so we can see that against the likes of chelski and Man utd. You won't see more passion from a mánager for his Team anywhere on the planet. Just luv the legend that is psycho.

Assombolonga and Antonio best 7 million pounds we ever spent been sensational this season. Anyone who says Antonio is big and cumbersome need their eyes tested. Goals, assists, crosses, runs at pace and takes on players wat me can we ask for and match winner again.
1.) Totally agree think what we paid for Antonio was a absolute Steel and his probably one of our best players so far this season
2.) 1.5 million for Antonio bargain of the century he may look clumsy at times but the he delivers every week goals and assists he must be streets ahead of the rest of the championship
3.) What makes Antonio hard to contain is the fact he is a total enigma. Trips over the ball, then scores the winner. Only half of what he tries comes off but he puts in a full shift. First name on the team sheet for me.
4.) Antonio is clumsy, he looks class one second and can kick the ball in to touch under no pressure the next. That's why he plays for us and not Man Utd. What he has is pace and power with an eye for goal. Priceless at this level and a great signing.
5.) Not bad considering we were going to pay 4 or 5 mil for a very similar player in Sako.
Assombollonga exciting ,hungry player , quick off the shoulder, clinical and knows where the net is a collymore type. Played for my second team southend united, fans were gutted when he left.
Well mr pearce did say he didn't hqve to sell our young rising stars because of financial reasons but if he could sell and use the money to Improve the squad he would consider it. So because of ffp and mr pearce wanting to still improve the squad it sounds like he has a plan. It is not all doom and gloom, we have replaced lascelles with a few centre backs more than capable and have experience in devries and a young up and coming goalie in emvitov who has the makings of a class keeper. He can be loaned out to gain experience and am sure he will be class. Lascelles and darlow must feel that Newcastle are a gud prospect even though I feel darlow would have stayed if asked anyway gud luck to them and expect a couple of player's in soon. Bring on blackpool, can't wait.
Cant see darlow wanting to be 3rd choice keeper can you?

Agree Wilson and lascelles been awful this season bring in laing and riera. Patto not the same at mo needs to go back home and get sum of mums home made dinners down him. should have kept mackie and should use Burke more. Would play Osbourne and tesche together more. Hopefully now assombolonga has scored he will go on a run. Hope Pearce gets time but fear the sack is round the corner and pulis or warnock in ( God help us). Wud just be Nice if our home record was better because then we would have something to build on. Like i said before the only chance we got of watching prem Football is Match of the day on saturday Night.

Think we need to write this season off , strong Team on paper bit happening on the pitch. Lots of games recently where our possesion is poor. Is changing mánager a good idea? Some say yes others say no, only fawaz can answer that i think. We do need some stability which i think we have up to the point where the players Cross that line. I just hate all the chopping and changing and being a reds fan is driving me insane. Getting to the prem seems just a Pipe dream and the closest we'll get to watching prem Football is putting Match of the day on the box.
