Just seen Gary Brazil at Derby City Hospital. I was going to tell him he is awesome and congratulations on doing a good job this season- then try and get some gossip. but then I just realised I had been staring at him for a few minuets, he noticed me staring at him and I probably just looked like either some discruntled dierby fan or a sex pest of some sort, and he walked past and I didn't say anything. Cool story bro.

Hobbs is suffering from cashitis which prevents him being named in the starting line-up for fear of the owner having to pay an appearance bonus on his contract!

It appears that the team put out last Saturday are on the same contract as Hobbs and if they play football they might get more money, . So hence the poor performances, mind you l don't think any pay increase would do the trick . Somebody leaked a story that we are on a lose bonus and their quids in. I think PM wants away as he cannot get them playing and might be sick to death with most of us on this website, tough.

I love Cohen, His work rate is second to non, but after reading HL comments in the post about the team needing time to gel I have to say he is captain for me. It's been a pretty bleak weekend and after losing 3-0 to what I believe to be an over rated Brighton, I believed it was going to be another one of those seasons. But having read that my faith is restored. Cohen will continue to influence the side, leading by example. But I would have Henri as my captain all day long. I'm back excited for the season.

I agree. I'm a big Lansbury fan, can't believe some of the stick he gets. Is he perfect? NO of course not, that's why he's in the championship not premier league. I for one am glad he's our player and captain!

Lansbury and Kasami together in the middle are a liability. They both gave the ball away cheaply on Friday and often put us under pressure. Good players but they desperately need someone behind them to mop up.

Not sure we should be judging the midfield after 2 games, whilst being drilled into a new system.
Whichever way I look at Lansbury, I don't see a motivator of men. There are days when he's anonymous and days where he's unplayable, lack of consistency should put paid to his captaincy aspirations.
If he gets a regular spot, then Mills should lead the side.

I don't understand what the problem is. Huddesfield utilised their squad. Just like we did on a weekly basis under montanier. You field players that are in your squad and rotate as appropriate. I really don't get what the argument is. I think we are clutching at straws to be honest trying to make a big deal of it. The season is a long campaign and part of working it tactically is resting players for vital games etc. The whole issue confused me.
