As a fan base we are way to critical of our squad, it's like our fans expect every single player even the reserve ones to be very good at championship level. We have fans insulting players on social media even sending them directly to them and on here trying to list every player that should be sold (normally includes every player that isn't in the first team and cox) If we just backed our team better and the atmosphere at the city ground has actually been pretty poor the last few seasons.
1.) I agree but Harding is an exception
{Ed034's Note - i think fans can be critical of players, but actually aiming it directly at them on social media is childish and i do not agree with at all.
debate whether other fans is something thats always happened
2.) We are no different to any fans of any team anywhere in the country we over react when we win and over react when we lose.
3.) I don't agree with it. But it's only because we were all spoilt! We can all remember the good days and want them back. We've had heartache after heartache. We just want the joy to return.
It's nothing new, 88/89 season Nigel was slated every single game, papers joined in, the trash that came out of fans mouths was uncalled for. Daddy's boy etc. just to name one, he then went on to Italy 90 and helped lift the little woods cup.

Ed, I think Harding did the best he could whenever he played - if that wasn't good enough for you don't you think your criticism should be aimed at the manager, not the player?
{Ed034's Note - if he did the best he could and still wasn't good enough, is that the managers fault?? I've never questioned his effort, he just isn't good enough

I would love us to go for a striker like Adam Le Fondre, he's said himself that he's disappointed with 15 goals this season and he hasn't consistently been in the team. He also only has 12 months left on his contract so could get him for good money. Would like a partnership like him and Wilson personally and then get another young striker like Bamford in on loan which I think we could do since Chelsea never like sending their players on loan to the same club.
1.) What I can't understand is why isn't he constantly in there starting lineup?he scores goals for fun but can't hold a place in the reading team!
2.) Agree 100%, Le Fondre would be a great signing, proven goal getter at this level but I think SP will go for a younger player. Maybe Le Fondre with a couple of younger forwards, as mentioned previously, could be a great option. But if it was possible I would go and try to get Mc Cormack, being reported Leed's new owner wants to reduce head count, you never know he might be tempted by a good offer? Keep up the great work Ed! We'd be lost without ya kid!

Wondering if fans think we should keep Majewski next season. He is my favourite player so I'm going to try defend him, yes he has been inconstant and so has the entire team. I still think he gets so much more stick than he deserves, the thing with him is that he won't win you a game with our average players in them, but when we have a fully fit squad playing he makes them all better. He has to have a strong team around and for the majority of the season he hasn't, at the start he was doing a great job linking up the play with Cohen and we were deadly down the left. I'm hoping he gets a chance but Pearce probably won't give him that because he isn't one of those English "passionate" (Just because he doesn't make stupid tackles trying to brake the other teams legs doesn't make a player passionate) players who will sprint after everything.

1.) Sad to say your right ed. Never kicked on from his wonder strikes against baggies and the sheep. so much potential but too lightweight for me.
2.) Something not been right with him this season. He has the ability we all know that but games can pass him by. On his day he is very good and can put balls through like not many can. Maybe under sp he can be reborn.
{Ed034's Note - I don't think he has the ability. He looked ok when he first come and scored a great goal against the sheep, but these great moments are very rare and when you look at players like Vaughan, Reid, pato, Lansbury and then think of guedioura who came in, he is an average championship player
3.) He just doesn't seem to chase back, put a tackle in or make any effort when we are not in possession, if he upped his efforts fans would live him.
4.) Don't forget that volley at West Brom as well Ed, was sat right behind him when he hit it great goal

5.) Bugs me when people say he's too lightweight. iniesta, javi and divid silva are all lightweight. doesn't stop them being quality players. you can see why he's been a bit down because of all the midfielders we have that were put infront of him. personally I would like him to stay and see what pearce can get out of him.
{Ed034's Note - I'd rather see him concentrate on Osborn who has the potential to be a far better player than radi, than try and give radi yet another opportunity
6.) The guy has scored 1 goal in his last 40 appearances , he was poor the 2nd half of last season, not good enough, league 1 player at best, don't know how BD picked him in front of Mcgugan last season, need to off load the sooner the better
7.) He's rubbish and should never lace his boots up for us again. He's too weedy-gives the ball away too much (like for the skip rats winning goal in the last game at home last season ) and his tip tap tip tap style of play drives me bonkers.
8.) Fawaz should never have given him a new contract, who will want to buy him?

9.) Think radi was very much BD's player who simply refused not to keep giving him chances. I can't see him playing for us again and I think a move back to Poland may well beckon. Cracking player on his day but just unfortunate that was only about 1% of the times he played
10.) How can anybody talk about Iniesta, Javi and David Silva in the same breath as Radi those three are world class, whilst Radi is struggling at the moment to achieve third class
11.) Lets not forget it was us the fans who were chanting "sign him up" when he was on loan, so its not entirely Billy Davis' decision to bring him in permanently.
12.) Think Radi is consistent now consistently disappointing! he is lightweight and as suggested this does not necessarily mean a bad thing, think Luca Modric but with radi he lacks strength and is simply pushed off the ball all too easily. had great potential, 10% chance he could make a difference if part of a strong team but the evidence stacked against him now.

I'm sure he will honour it because he's on so much money, he wouldn't miss out on the pay when we have to cancel it.
I'd be much happier if we were being linked with the likes of Vydra and not Fryatt.
Not sure how he thought, need a twenty goal a season man and got to Matty Fryatt.
Very good pick up ad a free agent, very quick and runs at the opposition so he would be very useful considering we really lack it, I thought Abdoun would be that kind of player but he isn't quick enough, we really have really quick players. Would like Eagles but I think he was on crazy wages (something like 30k) so that's probably why he has been released so I don't know what he would accept.
Why show the rest the door? you can't just have an 18 top championship players because there will be so many people unhappy and we couldn't afford to bring in that much. We've needed our squad players due to our entire defence and midfield being out and not the best quality strikers unlike Leicester and Burnley who have had next to none. No Darlow is crazy, I could barely find a goal that I would say was his fault especially before the back four got injured then he fount it harder because the other team got so many good chances.

Agree with Marty, we now have 3 amazing centre backs at championship level (Wilson seems to injury prone though) but if I had to sell one of them it would be Lascelles, Darlows and Lansbury are just too crucial to our team, Darlows ability to collect crosses is amazing and makes the defense a lot ore confident and without Lansbury we just are so much worse

Not many clubs really play 442 as a system any more. I think it should be something like 4-1-2-1-2 or 4-2-3-1, with fitting people like Paterson, Reid and Mackie in the line up that works well with Lansbury and vaughan behind and then someone like Lars upfront.
The post said that Forest have an option to buy Rafik and they don't have to actually get him so they won't.

They have the TV money from the prem, they are fine
I'm actually amazed, they say they made the friendlies with the players and fans in mind, well actually I enjoy going to nice grounds, not Illkeston and York. The only really good one Braga which I was going to go to isn't even in the ground! Thanks a lot Eastick
