Morgan Gibbs-White to Spurs. Deal worth £60 million, inc. add-ons, plus Djed Spence has been agreed, apparently. No idea why we would want Spence, though. We are already well stocked at right back.

Never going to happen mate. Perhaps if we are relegated otherwise not a chance.

2.) 10 Jan 2024 20:04:11
what Stokey said, no chance.

Minus 10 points incoming. Not good at all.

1.) 14 Jan 2024 23:19:53
I thought it was minus 50 ? paper and journalist talk let's wait till tmoz.

2.) 15 Jan 2024 07:19:12
Yep all the talk is that we are getting a points deduction. In the meantime nothing whatsoever is done about Man City and Chelsea seem to be living in fantasy football land.
Relegation nailed now, perhaps we will have a fire sale this window in preparation for returning to the championship.

3.) 15 Jan 2024 07:37:02
Good luck today Forest! ???.

4.) 15 Jan 2024 07:50:23
City and Chelsea are 2 of the biggest clubs in the Premier League, RedFrog, so there will be no punishment for them as the Premier League are more corrupt than our government.

5.) 15 Jan 2024 08:31:44
Redfrog ????.

6.) 15 Jan 2024 08:48:15
Absolutely pathetic!

7.) 15 Jan 2024 09:00:28
FFP is like International Law. It doesn't apply to everyone.

8.) 15 Jan 2024 10:48:31
After the 'pass the buck' fiasco of the Post Office affair, who takes the blame at Forest if we are found guilty? Any takers?

9.) 15 Jan 2024 11:10:38
Well Norfolk mate, it’s not the players, not the fans, not the coach, guess that leaves the big Greek and his highly paid and highly intelligent senior executives.
From what I understand ( and I have no knowledge of our finances it relates to us exceeding the limit which was brought back into the black only with the sale of Johnno. So we were apparently “overdrawn “ for 2 months. Nothing like Everton’s £125 million for 2 years ( and counting).
However if I could compare it with the lowest type of misdemeanour, a parking ticket, it’s like saying to the traffic warden “well I admit I was parked on double yellow lines but only for 10 minutes”. To which the warden would say “ Guilty. The double yellows are clearly marked out and apply for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. ”
It might be the authorities let us off with a fine or a warning but I think with Parliament looking to enforce oversight and regulation on the Prem they’ll probably look to make an example.
Either way, it’s a complete misreading of the political situation and the accounts by Mr M. Or to put it another way, I wouldn’t have parked on the double yellows in the first place!

10.) 15 Jan 2024 11:29:54
Thanks, Stokey. I wonder what Nuno's reaction might be if we are penalised. Did he have an idea? Surely he would have been told!

11.) 15 Jan 2024 12:00:05
Norfolk, I think he would take Sean Dyches line and say he doesn’t know anything about the finances, he’s a football coach not an accountant. I think he would have been told roughly what the situation was when he signed but that probably fitted in with his ideas ( likewise Coopers) on reducing the bloated squad. I believe, ironically, that now their is some financial wriggle room because the breaches relate to the past not the present.
It must be embarrassing for Mr Randle, still on the board as a non executive director, to see us in trouble and having to hire a top barrister when he himself was the legal eagle in this field. I can’t imagine he wouldn’t have advised Mr M how close we were sailing to the wind and the likely consequences thereof. Perhaps he did and the big man chose not to listen. I always thought Mr Randle would tender his resignation under these circumstances.
But, I stress, I’m guessing and the above is pure speculation mate!

12.) 15 Jan 2024 14:38:19
So squeaky bum time at the CG today! Luckily, I didn't write "Did Nuno know" Anyway, it's 2.35 and no news!

03 Jan 2024 07:48:05
Forest allegedly sailing close to the FFP wind. No doubt we'll get a 20 point deduction and Everton will get another 10 point deduction to make up for the 20 points the Premier League should take off Man City and Chelsea for their respective breaches of FFP but won't.

1.) 03 Jan 2024 09:59:41
Corruption!

2.) 04 Jan 2024 11:56:39
So let's get straight to it then. Who thinks we would survive a 10 point deduction?

26 Dec 2023 20:23:57
I hope no Forest fans are planning to go to Saudi Arabia any time soon. We will surely be a prime target for a public execution after that match.

Excellent performance after a shaky start. Woods' intelligence getting him his second and third.

Defence and midfield seemed to breath another life after the 3rd. Confident and solid.

1.) 27 Dec 2023 09:14:55
In my opinion never a penalty how var gave that I will never know.

2.) 27 Dec 2023 10:11:50
Bit insulting to us that the Geordies can't except being beat by us, there ground emptying with 15mintes to go. And know there manager is under threat of the sack!, and mourino being lined up, we was the better team in all departments yesterday, that includes the goalie.

3.) 27 Dec 2023 14:05:00
Tbf mate, at the moment most teams would expect to beat us and there recent record is terrible. Expectations are always high there and they’ve grown massively in recent times.

I think it’s defeats to us ans Luton and their overall current form that’s triggered them rather than being beat by us.

4.) 27 Dec 2023 14:16:46
2stars not sure why why expectations would always be high there, apart from the fairs cup in 68, they haven’t won anything since Jack the Ripper was terrorising Whitechapel, poor man’s spurs is what they are, massive club in there own minds.

5.) 27 Dec 2023 15:09:26
I don’t disagree at all there stevie, their expectations have always been huge and will have grown due to last season’s high finish. They will be feeling very frustrated at their recent performances and results for sure, hopefully we can send Utd back over the Pennines feeling equally as annoyed!

08 Dec 2023 11:31:14
On current form, if any one of Burnley, Sheffield United or Luton stay up it will be us that go down with the other two.

Mohammred

1.) 08 Dec 2023 12:45:31
My worry is, apart from sheff utd we have not bet the team who came up with us and Burnley, Luton, but the one that gets me is Bournemouth, why can't we beat them! ;.
E.

2.) 08 Dec 2023 15:17:41
Because we are not god enough. Whether, that's tactically or from an ability perspective.

06 Dec 2023 21:56:57
Bye bye, Cooper. Thank you for getting us up and then keeping us up. But, that has got to be it for him. 4 defeats on the bounce and no goals in the last 2 games and never really looked like scoring in either. Once again thank you Mr. Cooper but game over.

Mohammred

1.) 06 Dec 2023 22:37:29
Who realistically is better though?

2.) 07 Dec 2023 07:37:10
You have to know who every single manager/ coach around the world is. And you need to watch enough of them to know their specific style of play. We as football fans do not know that. Even the ones that think they do.

Brennan Johnson transfer fee was 'pure profit'. Which apparently is quite important when factored into FFP. Not totally sure, though, as I've not really looked into that side of it all.

The Premier League will take Chelsea's and City's points deduction and give it to us and the Toffee's.

According to the social media experts we were close to signing him at one point then it went quiet and a few weeks later he's 'going to Fulham. Guess, wrong. Guess, wrong. Guess, wrong. Guess, wrong. Guess, wrong. Guess, oh we got one right. Guess, wrong. Guess, wrong. Guess, wrong. Guess, wrong. Guess, wrong. Guess, oh we got one right.

I'd keep Wood in there. He's scoring a few and he seems a bit more intelligent than Awoniyi.
