Does anyone have info' regarding Tesche and/or Mancienne? Will either, both or neither be fit after the international break? Also, any info' re Reid, Cohen, Fryatt and Assombalonga would be gratefully received!

Tesche and Mancienne expected back after the international break. As for the others, how longs a piece of string?

2.) 07 Nov 2015 14:14:41
I spoke to Cohen last night and he said he's back just after Xmas. i think the others are suppose to be back around the same time.

3.) 07 Nov 2015 14:27:18
Was that Lenoard Cohen?
CARLO.

4.) 07 Nov 2015 16:02:07
Thanks to all who replied. It would be good to see what can be done once we have our full squad back, in particular up front!

5.) 07 Nov 2015 16:26:09
No it was chris Cohen driving into the main stand car park In his black merc.

6.) 08 Nov 2015 06:43:13
thats another thing about forest, never get any info as to how injured players are. just never any updates about anything.

7.) 08 Nov 2015 08:16:55
Really? you should listen to more interviews as it has been mentioned in them.
Mancienne and tesche should be bk after international break. it was said (a while ago) that reid fryatt and Cohen would be bk just after Xmas and we all know about Britt. this has all be said in interviews by dougie.

Just read on Sly that Danny Fox is confirmed as joining on loan with permanent move this summer, a very good signing for me, thank you Farwaz.

imsmidsy

1.) Good work that getting sly and fox in the same post lol COYR

2.) You sly fox!

3.) If true great. A quality left back that will free up Cohen the Barbarian to roam an terrorize the pitch when fit once more. COYR.

4.) Will all the so called Forest fans who slated Fawaz on twitter now apologise to him and ask for forgiveness. One by one we are getting the players we need. The man is our saviour but still some can't see it.

5.) Same applies to those fans who moan amount King Billy.

6.) Great news, I remember in 2009 when we were linked with him while he was at cov but when Celtic come in for him it blew us out the water! Still have a few twists and turns to go in this window, if you read all the stories on social networks and in news, we could still in for 5 or so players! Hobbs, Vaughan should be done tomorrow and maybe 1 more striker and another midfielder! It's been a great window either way, just need to make sure we don't lose Vaughan! 3-1 tonight, COYR!

7.) Sly Fox eh?
'Let go all the way' this season!
Sorry just showed my age. Sitting in a Sitting in a!

8.) Jury's out on him. Definitely not a Prem player, maybe still hack it in the Championship? A distant relative is a Saints fan, qualified ref and doing his coaching badges (so should know about skilful players) thinks we have made a big mistake.

9.) A referee being touted as the font of all knowledge on skillful players HA HA HA I think you need to take a look at yourself mate.

10.) Sorry Ed, my 1st post was a bit lengthy! I put it down the excitement of finally posting on this site! Anyway. Danny Fox.

I live in Southampton and all my mates are Saints fans so I know quite a lot about the lad. Now when he played for Burnley/Celtic I was a big fan and really rated him. However since he has been at Saints I have heard nothing but negativity. Cracking left foot but Saints fans really don't rate him. Defensively poor and all in all (and I quote) ' an average championship left back at best'. When I told my mate today he actually cheered and laughed!

And this isn't just because he has left them, they have been telling me how bad he is for ages.

So anyway, I don't want to be negative as I really hope / believe he can do a job for us. But I wanted to tell you that he doesn't come with a glowing reference.

{Ed034's Note - fox will be good for us pal. Very attacking full back and will suite our formation of two holding midfielders

11.) I also know quite a funny Danny Fox chant from my Saints mates. I want to say it but as it is rather crude I am reluctant as it is my first day on this site - I don't want to annoy ed already! Ed, can I say it?

{Ed034's Note - you can try but I can't promise I'll post it lol

Great result tonight but a bit worried by the injuries. Can anyone shed some light on the seriousness of Byram and Lolley?

imsmidsy

1.) 29 Aug 2018 22:29:24
Byrom looks like long term

2.) 30 Aug 2018 00:06:13
Yeah lolley looked like he just jarred it but byram looked more serious

I cannot see why people think there should be a problem attracting a new manager to Forest as FAH has a habit of sacking them after only a few months, so they're being paid for the duration of their contracts for only a few months work! Wish I could get a situation like that!

1.) 15 Jan 2017 09:41:03
In all this shambles, gary brazil is a good choice short time at least he knows the young players who would be good enough for the first time give them the chance i know they are honest lads and will play for the shirt unlike some of what we currently have onwards and upwards hopefully.

2.) 15 Jan 2017 10:32:36
last time brazil was in charge, nothing changed so bad decision

3.) 15 Jan 2017 12:09:13
Hoddle would be my choice

4.) 15 Jan 2017 13:02:37
How could anyone with a brain work for FAH you would have him questioning everything you did. No CEO no Finance director No Chief Scout no management = NO Brain Fawaz. Please go as soon as possible

Ok, point (1)
Mr Al-Hasawi, "in the face of so much stupidity and lack of appreciation from so many so called supporters, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your continued support of my club.

Point (2)
regarding H. Lansbury. If he has so little consideration for other peoples lives, let alone his own, that he is done for driving at 115 miles an hour, maybe he should contact the bolshevic broadcasting corporation and apply for a job with C. Evans on what used to be Top Gear, I hear he's having difficulty putting together a team himself. It's not as though we're short in midfield and I don't believe Mr Clough would have put up with the number of bookings he gets, let alone such rediculously selfish/stupid behaviour behind the wheel of a car.

Point (3)

Can people please take a chill pill regarding this season ! Anyone whould think we're destined for thrid division football the way they talk on here. We have a goamkeeper that got promotion to the Premier league a couple of seasons back, three of the best central defenders (Mills/Hobbs and Wilson) in our div', the US international right back, a midfield that is full of tallent so that, even if Lansbury is not sold, it's by no means certain that he'd get a start, especially if and when Reid and Cohen return !
The only positions I's like to see some action in is up front (but even there we have the chance to reignite Maynards career and have young Walker and have Assombalonga coming back later in the season) and a left back to compete with Fox for the position.

So, to sum up, please stop all this depression, it's not justified. Why not start a Dougie Freeman's Flying Circus and sing "always look on the bright side of life" rather than depressing the rest of us all the time. If you're wondering who I'm directing this at, you only have to read some of the rubbish written on this site to know who you are. Thank you, I feel better now !

1.) 25 Jul 2015 13:20:34
I stopped reading after you babbled about what Lansbury does outside of football.

2.) 25 Jul 2015 13:44:14
Totally agree with all of that.

3.) 25 Jul 2015 15:25:01
I was prepared to give this post a fair hearing but I also ducked out mid-way through the bit about the BBC. Full-on random crazy-talk.

4.) 26 Jul 2015 15:08:46
uptheforest and number 9, thank you for taking the time to reply, although I feel you are completely wrong to dimiss what a Forest player does off the pitch. Would you condone taking on or keeping a player who had criminal conviction ? As I said in Point 2, Mr Clough would not have allowed a player to bring the clubs name into disrepute. I remember he even fined plyer (I think it was Larry Lloyd but please don't quote me on that ) for not wearing the club tie oorrectly done up ! It's about building pride.

Hi Ed. , I just looked at a Sportsmole report on the upcoming match against Yeovil and they've got Miller as a probable starter. Please tell me we've got a clause in the loan agreement that he doesn't play against us or you just know what's going to happen!

imsmidsy

{Ed034's Note - he is not allowed to play against us

1.) Thank you!

OK, here goes! I am one of those people who do not see the need for mobile phones/twitter etc. , being completely happy to reply to answer machine messages, if I want to, when I want to! I therefore am completely unaware of what some person has written to Mr Al Hawasi that was rude enough for him to reply in the way he did. I would like to use this board to convey my complete support for someone who has already invested a huge amount of his own time and money in my club and ask him, please, do not let the offensive behaviour of one or two persons detract from the gratitude I'm sure the better part of the supporters of this club feel for him.
I have suported this club for fifty years, from all over the world, and hate the way one or two people (I hope that is all) have brought the support of this great club into disrepute.

1.) Here, here. We are very lucky to have him. Bahrain MT

Just read on Sport Witess site a very confident report stating Lars Veldwijk is at the City Ground undergoing a medical and, amazingly for me, it's staing we're only paying 0.5m for him. 30 goals in 38 games and only 500,000? That's got to be a great deal in anyones books! Well done SP!

carlo, I could not agree more. From memory, that was the position he played in for Chelsea a few seasons back and it exploits his skills to the fullest. The only other player I think of for that role (other than a fit Cohen) is Tesch. With either of them as sweeper and a combination from Hobbs/Mills/Wilson behind him, I thnk we'd be pretty strong at the back

I assume Ince will be on the team sheet, that being the case, will he push Antonio up front with Asombalonga and have Ince on the wing ?
