Just get behind the team and you might just enjoy it guys. So much moaning at the city ground. Let’s create a party atmosphere! I go round the country and everyone talks about how fickle we are! Let’s get behind them even if we don’t agree with everything! COYR.

07 Sep 2018 10:15:27
Yeah we’re really fickle 20 years out the top flight and averaging 27000 gates do give over please

2.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 10:24:09
Couldn’t agree more. But your wasting your time on these lot. Don’t see the point in being a fan if your not going to enjoy it

3.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 10:33:42
The point is we moan because we want to enjoy it ,can,t enjoy the dross that is being served up by Mr negative ,it,s going to have an unhappy ending !
CARLO
PS agree Tomlin should have been signed but perhaps he,s too attacking .

07 Sep 2018 11:18:18
Hit the nail on the head there isolated, but I think some are indeed happiest when moaning:)

Isolated ff while I kinda agree in some degree wats there been to enjoy. Masses of defensive midfielders meaning bridcutt going to probably wanna move on which is a mistake. Masses of influential attacking players yet apart from a couple of 2 2 draws in the league we can't buy a goal sometimes, since the start of the year. Huge amounts of players in it's getting ridiculous now, If we get this striker that'll be 17 since the summer. If I could see a plan, a spine to the team , gud performances at home perhaps but may be needing to do better away I would be patient. But unfortunately I can't, nothing has really improved and at home we often look like an away team , big games coming up, If we get a point at Swansea, beat Rotherham draw with Wednesday 11 points amassed , top 6 possibly hitting 20 points plus , with such gud teams up there we need to hit a gud run of four or five wins just to try and stay in touch , before you know it half a season approaching and if we don't pull our socks up we going to be too far behind. But we could win next 3 4 games and we in the mix and everything a bit more rosy. In seasons gone by we've had a run of easy fixtures on paper but failed miserably especially at home so it's difficult to get excited when all I can see is frustration and desperation from a manager just over buying players for the sale of it or to try and save his own skin, it feels like he is making a bit of a mockery of us at the moment. Will always be forest through and through, wear my tattoo with pride just fed up of early season promises and in the space of a few weeks most fans fed up, the booing at half time against brum sums up how most especially loyal followers feel about forest at the moment after just 5 games.

We do get behind them on match day and I do not shout out at players or managers while a game is in progress, just try to encourage them.
But once a match is over, then I'm entitled to say what I feel,it's better than shouting abuse during the game.
I will always say what I see and if it's a good performance I will say so as I did against West Brom and Newcastle, but if it's a bad performance I will say so.
Just so happens that the bad performances out way the good ones.
It has nothing to do with negativity,it's just an honest assessment of what has happened that match day.
So those that think we should just post nice things and everything will drop into place need to get your heads out of the sand and see what's really happening.

Cant fault that ff99 good post 👍

8.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 13:01:35
27000 average?? If you pick and choose the attendances that suit, you could probably get that a little bit higher than that 🤣 our average attendance is miles lower than that but this season it is a bit higher so far because of the cheaper tickets and a promising pre season with good results and what looked like good signings. Funny how some fans pick and choose stats.

9.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 13:48:56
Hows it going 2tone i like stats anyone no how long it would take for a 🚕🚖 to the city ground pick someone up and take them to the nearest airport for a one way journey to🌋 could i have stats on the fastest🚕🚖cheers ⏲🕛🕧😆

ff799 a few weeks ago you commented on bouch scoring for olympiakos and asked the question has karanka done the right thing letting him go. well i know players that leave clubs score goals but you managed to link it back to make karanka look bad . that isn't saying what you see that's shit stirring and there s a few of you doing that on here just to get at him that's what's upsetting fans.

11.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 14:11:52
2tone think you’ll find over the last 20 years in the main we have averaged around 20 k which is a miracle givn some of the dross we've been served up

12.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 14:13:39
Agree chopsy, the poor performances may out weigh (😉) the good but the negativity pouring out exceeds normal commenting. A more balanced and less dramatic/hysterical view is needed. Too many turning a drama into a crisis. 👍

13.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 14:15:28
2tone by the way what are we averaging this year ? Simple question for you,

14.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 14:27:15
There very fact there is such a divided fan base shows all's not right, ak has to many players to choose from and is making too many changes trying to find the best team, bridcutt finished the season very well played very well against Newcastle yet still more players come in in his position why ???? Sorry but now there panic signing, we all want ak to succeed but the fact is he isn't so far, so are all the fans saying just get behind the team are enjoying watching 2 defensive midfielders and one up front it's madness we fall behind every game so he changes it then we come back into the game it's clear to everyone except ak that his tactics aren't working any manager that has to make 2 subs at half time has got it very wrong, after the players he has been allowed to sign fans have every right to ask questions 1 win in 6 I mean come on guys

15.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 15:13:47
Chopsey all I said was bouka scored and did karanka give a fair go?
What's shit stirring about that?
It's just a question.
Where does that make karanka look bad??

16.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 15:52:53
79 nobody has to make karanka look bad he's doing a great job of that by himself

17.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 15:59:58
FF don’t bite. karanka makes himself look bad.
Some people don’t like facing up the reality of things at times.
I’ll say this. .give someone enough rope and what will be will be.🤯

18.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 16:01:32
did karanka give it a fair go? ) is a witchhunters way of saying has karanka made a mistake. can you explain how bouch scoring a goal has got owt to do with karanka because for all you know it might have took 3 deflections and gone in off his arse but you tried to put it in fans minds o dear what has karanka done now and while i'm on the subject karanka as got nowt to do with the kennedy shooting the russians or brexit.

19.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 16:29:25
Chopsy,we'll did he make a mistake?
No witching there just a plain question.
Has a another Kennedy been shot lately then? Now I would blame the Russians for that one.
You been on the pink gin??🤣🤣🤣😋

20.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 16:46:12
Stevie you provided the answer for yourself - you can use stats to show some crazy figures just like you have in that post. Our average attendance over the last 4-5 games is probably about 27k but using a sensible set of figures and it comes down dramatically. 10-15 year average I’d guess is about 20k? Great support for what we’ve had to suffer but you can't really mix up 20 year figures with the last 4-5 games?? Unless your a politician or a spin doctor 🤔

21.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 16:51:54
Skeggy shall we have a whip round for the taxi? We’d soon get the fare, not looking good at the moment is it, I think we’ve got so much potential we just need the right man to guide us. If we could play to our strengths we can still have a good season but if our man stays as stubborn as it appears he is we will have a rough ride. Fingers crossed but I can’t see many changes

22.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 16:56:55
Karanka was right to get rid of bouch he was around long enough to impress if he was ever going to

23.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 17:06:13
Cant work it out myself 2tone think he has some great players here but nobody on or off the field looks like they no what there doing or suppose to be doing i can't say I've seen a improvement on the field since the last few managers its definatley not looking good at the minute mate

24.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 17:08:05
2tone my point was to be able attract an average of 27599 to our 1st 3league games shows our fan base has remained pretty solid after 20 years of mainly rubbish at city ground which makes us anything but”fickle”

25.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 17:15:52
See chopsey Stevie has answered the question,it isn't that hard

26.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 17:37:23
no karanka didn't make a mistake by getting rid of bouch but he made that decision on peformances on the pitch and in training. if you can make an assumption and try to put doubt in fans minds by bouch scoring a goal after leaving our club we know where the pink gin is. don't forget another post you put up about not being bothered what happens at other clubs but you was quick to jump on the bouch goal ?.

27.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 17:57:00
What are you on about mate ??
Your making as much sense as your chosen☝️

28.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 18:28:50
Fickle or not? it could be just that the prices were cheap and a few got tempted back after seeing we’d spent some money? Makes sense to me to fill the ground but whichever way you look at it they came back to be entertained - if that doesn’t happen they won’t renew unless the prices come down even more.

29.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 18:11:22
Dolly Locks is spot on.

It's very easy to make the City Ground go quiet compared to many of the other Championship grounds where the home fans have more realistic expectations on matchday even though they too want promotion.

The comment we have waited 20 years sums up the over expectation. That era was a one off never to be repeated so sit back enjoy the ride because the cycle of sacking managers mid season has to stop if we are ever going to get near the promised land!

30.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 19:03:31
Some fans are happier looking back 20-30 years rather than looking forward to anything.

31.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 19:26:50
Red tell the owners about sacking not the fans,we have no say in it my friend.

32.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 20:11:19
2tone our marketing finally got into the 21st century, that helped boost ticket sales, but I don’t think you can say a club that has carried 20k gates over 20 years of very lean times has fickle fans Redinexile nobody expects a clough era again but I expect a club of this size to be at least competitive in the 2nd tier occasionally.as for your assertion that the city ground is quiet compared to others with more ‘realism Wigan reading Ipswich etc some of the quietest i’ been to , do you get to many games??

33.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 20:36:01
2tone alright mate have it your way let’s look forward to an entire team of defensive midfielders. because if anyone on here can see a method in the recruitment please give me a shout

34.) 07 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 21:54:18
Stevie-i can’t work out our recent recruitment plan but i'm looking forward to someone getting hold of this squad and getting something out of it . We just need to do the basics and play to our strengths. I usually back pro coaches and managers as they are so much more aware of tactics, coaching methods, other teams tactics etc. But I really think my old football coach would do better than AK - keep it simple, play your position and play guys who are in form. Simple isn’t it?

35.) 08 Sep 2018
07 Sep 2018 23:20:20
Good post 2tone simple and to the point, unlike karanka.

I think in colback he has the best dm in the league surely with Watson and young Yates we had enough in that area it’s the young kids I feel sorry for,we have generally been a club that has given them a chance over the years, now we have 1 in cash who’s arguably our best player at mo and still can’t get a regular start, over and above that they are blocked in all directions by a host of what look in the main bang average signings
