Apparently takeover delayed AGAIN! . Sorry but if everything was ready to sign by 22nd December 2016. and JJM said it would be completed by today. the issues firmly lie with Fawaz! . Transfer window will pass with no incomings. the club will slowly slide into League One. Dark times ahead. Sorry I'm unable to be positive. That's what the players and the owner has done to me over the past 4 years!

Lol there's always one or two see you later jay when it's signed and sealed 😃😎

2.) 10 Jan 2017 10:51:04
How do you all know the delay is on the Fawaz side. JJM does not indicate that. It could be for any reason. Just saying.

It's being reported on the radio rhat UEFA are looking at relaxing the FFP rules for the big clubs eg Man City and PSG. Surely this will have a knock on effect on Forest. Supposedly sort out at the end of June. Day before transfer window reopens!! Thoughts anyone!

Jayreddog

{Ed003's Note - Why will UEFA's rules have an effect on Championship rules ?

1.) 19 May 2015 09:48:54
I think they did when the rule original rule did?

2.) 20 May 2015 12:08:20
I think they should be relaxing the rule on the smaller clubs aspiring to be big!! The bigger clubs already have an unfair advantage and the gap between them and the rest is beyond ridiculous!

10 May 2015 14:48:34
So with it looking now as though QPR are going to be relegated back to the championship. How does this affect Forest regarding FFP . As I remembered they escaped punishment because of promotion last season. Will the rules then be relaxed?. Anyone's thoughts?

1.) 10 May 2015 15:23:03
They look like being hit with a fine of 58 million
I think they will appeal this and that will open the door WIDE

2.) 10 May 2015 15:27:22
58 million is a lot of money for a championship side with big earners. If they appeal and are successful surely we can do the same. Be interesting and open a whole can of worms.

3.) 10 May 2015 15:31:32
They will receive £62m a year for the next 3 years in parachute payments

They could pay the £58m and get it sorted but not surf that they will!

4.) 10 May 2015 15:45:43
I think they will get away with small punishment as the FA have no spine when it comes to important matters. QPR will recieve a fortune for being relegated i mean why reward teams for failing. I hope the get hit with a massive fine or kicked out the league and appeal just so it opens the floodgates. I can't believe the clubs agreed to FFP in the first place.

5.) 10 May 2015 16:22:58
FFP was brought in to stop clubs going out of business due to financial problems, ie Portsmouth. It's fair in some ways regarding lower league clubs, but I believe if you have a wealthy owner prepared to back up a club then that's their choice, the game is unrecognisable from 20 years ago, it's awash with money and I wonder where it will end up. The working man is more or less priced out of the game nowadays, corporate packages are what clubs want. It's certainly affected the atmosphere, football is nowhere near as exciting as it used to be. Cloughie did warn them what would happen though didn't he?

6.) 10 May 2015 17:10:28
According to Sky they have to pay in order to be allowed to play in the Championship.

7.) 10 May 2015 19:29:19
They also have 16 players out of contract this summer

8.) 10 May 2015 19:32:32
So I'm assuming the football league will waive the 58 million pound fine and allow them back in the championship whilst still receiving parachute payments upward of 60 million for the next 3 seasons. Think some clubs will not be happy if that happens

{Ed003's Note - Why would you assume that ? }

9.) 10 May 2015 19:41:47
How old is Clint Hill now ? I understand he is out of contract at QPR

10.) 10 May 2015 21:22:15
Hill turns 37 next October, would have been good if we had signed him a couple of seasons back but not now. As for QPR it will be a long summer no doubt with a massive string of court cases. It will be interesting if QPR refuse to pay the fine of 60 million and the football league don't back down, maybe it will be the conference for them next year. The problem the football league have if they do let QPR off lightly, which I hope they don't, is that every other club under embargo will then also take them to the courts. Will be very interesting to follow and will no doubt effect our situation.

11.) 10 May 2015 22:42:55
So if QPR don't/can't pay, the league will kick them out?

Does that mean that four champ clubs get promoted in that situation?

Does the 56 million pound fine come off next seasons budget? It would be expenditure. :/

Anybody agree that this is all a bit silly and needs a rethink?

12.) 11 May 2015 08:17:30
The rules change for the 2016/2017 season which in my eyes makes more sense.a 3yearly check up and a total loss of £39 million which is spread out over the three years which = £13 million every year but it's worked out over the three years so you have time to sort them out.thats more like it really,we need to sort it out

13.) 11 May 2015 08:55:32
Fawaz last interview He stated that this year He had spent over £22 million so that will be no good either

Well none on Gillette Soccer Saturday!

18 Apr 2015 16:48:50
How many defeats in a row is that now for Dougie?? Players really need to look at themselves in the mirror. Defensively my team is worse than terrible. Genuinely fear for next season!!

Jayreddog

1.) 18 Apr 2015 17:22:55
not lost 2day don't fear 4 next season why do we have so many
pessimists following the trees if it wasn't for DF we would have been in a relegation battle this season that is for sure.
I am sure during the summer he will get rid of the deadwood get some decent freebies sort out his best side injuries permitting and you never know. We have been better since he came i think we changed gaffers just a bit to late. Should have got rid of SP after the derby game LOL

2.) 18 Apr 2015 17:50:08
What? I thought we draw 3-3?

3.) 18 Apr 2015 17:57:23

Totally agree. If anything we will struggle to sign anyone of quality to mount a serious promotion push. And as we can see from this season the players we have just aren't quite as good as we think. Not saying we are going to be as bad as Blackpool. But it will be a similar scenario with the players we can attractive

He is not on trial at QPR. He is simply training with them to keep his fitness up. also he is definitely not a Forest target!

The problem is quite straightforward! To footballers, it's just a job. nothing more! To fans it's there escape!

The players don't care. They still pick up there fat pay packet. If we get relegated these so called professional football players will sign for another club. On the same or increased pay and play considerably better. The club is run poor from top to bottom and the players are taking advantage of this situation. The owner needs a proper structure to the club!
