Reported Mustaph Caryol will sign before tuesday. Would be a good bit of buisness, still a very good player at championship level and cost nowt.

He's average, inconsistent and started just 20 games in 2 and a bit years, all during loan spells at Huddersfield and Leeds. He wasn't good enough for Middlesbrough when they were kicking on and he won't make the desired improvement to our squad.

Ok the guy as had a few injuries but we have the best medical team in the championship and do not forget he will play one in three games, even hobbs should be able to stay fit enough with the manager rotating so many players.
Joking all a side he is in my opinion good enough to compete in the championship, providing he stays fit.

I just read a article on line that this guy demeriou that is supposed to be joining on loan as taken a wage cut to join us. If true at least he is showing that playing football is more important to him, rather than financial gain. At least as the right attitude.

I would be happy if we spend nothing in this window and try to un earth some talent by way of loans. Pay of a chunk of our debt is the way forward for survial. Take a minute and think about the talent we have already got for nowt and there is plenty more ready to be unearthed.
Mustaph caryol for free, morrison ravel for free worth a punt both still young enough . In my opinion the only way our club will move forward is when our debts are paid. I understand that many fans will want us to, spend to compete, however we can compete with the right manager at the helm and I think we may have found him.

I do not think all the money will be spent on strengthening the squad. I would hope half the money generated from the sale of burke, Patterson, Defries willbe put back into replacements and the rest put against our debts. I think maybe wishful thinking on my behalf. To date we have had some decent players brought in and there is a few more supposed to be announced today or tomorrow if the deals go through. I understand the bitter feelings by some supporters towards the director, especially when he makes statements of players will not be sold and then does the opposite. However money talks and it is quite a lot of money that we are getting for twisty. I have read from other posters who have stated that one injury or lack of progression could also cost us money. The devil you do the devil you do not. I am sitting on the fence until we see with our own eyes what happens on this occassion. It really is difficult being a forest supporter, however i feel for the team more. Hopeing some good comes from theses transfers/ sales. olly cyprus.

The only reason FAH has sold Burke and will sell others is to recoup the money he loaned Forest and let himself break even. I don't think he's interested in the club the fans or the players. As I have said all along until FAH goes we as a club are going nowhere. We had the makings of a decent team this year and now its spirit will be fractured and they may take a long time to recover. I suppose Lichaj will return to right back, Traore or Fox to left back and Hildeberto will become the fast wing man replacing Burke. If Osborn, HL and Britt leave in the next six months we are destined to remain in the Championship indefinitely - unless we can lose FAH.

Our chairman has constantly duped the fans and tarnished the good name of our club
I am told the Burke deal was done prior to the game against Leeds
and saw Burke after the game, he seemed unaware he was going
Our chairman is never going to get us promoted as he wants out of the club and he wants his money back
so do not expect top signings to come in
We are in for another long hard season i am afraid.

I have not posted for a while, due to a fall out with previous ed. How ever continued to read your posts and the new eds . My reason for returning is because of the sale of paterson, devries, burke all within a week or two.
Devries wanted to leave, paterson wanted more game time and leave and burke well my initial reaction was good god the owner is asset stripping. However I then think back to earlier years under doughty and he had to sell to balance the books and keep the club afloat. I now think I have had time to digest the current situation, I belive this could be a good sale, if and I say if the money we receive is spent to re invest in new players to strengthen the team and some monies to off set against losses and keep us out returning to a embargo situation. Just maybe the owner has got it right this time. I hope we can at least achieve top ten positionin the league . I hope we can attact a good striker to join us and I hope oliveria my be in the managers thoughts, britt and him could form a good partnership now we play attacking football. The other striker in my opinion would be gary hooper. Which strikers would you guys put on your wish list. Olly cyprus.

Think I agree, although in a perfect world we should keep him this is football and apart from a few clubs in the world we are all selling clubs. If we got £13m at the end of last season we would be laughing but a few good goals and now he is worth a lot more. If and it's a big if we got a couple of really good strikers in, I think the club will improve and we have to let twisty move on in his career, he didn't have to move if he didn't want too.

I think halford is being critisied far to much, under billy he played evry position he was asked and never once complained.
I even read that he would train as cb and then in a match play centre forward.
If he does go, I wish him all the best and hope he nails down a position and nmot become another utility player for his next team.

Both players have more skill than you and me. Balatelli knows he might have to drop down a division and buck his ideas up. Running out of clubs that would take a chance on him. Morrison has amazing technigue and with right arm around him could contibute a lot to football and possibly full fill that potential that is being wasted. However, both together woud be a nightmare would un settle the dressing room to much. I would take a punt on morrison though. I would put him under the care of the new mad goal keeper and the perria with orders to give him a clip behind the ears if he steps out of line. Lol.

i heard a saying a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. I do not think as many clubs was really interested as suggested by the media. I have read about six in total and no bids by these other clubs confirmed by our club. Also the old saying put your money where your mouth is comes to mind or put up or shut up. The money we got from twisty if 13- 15 million is a good deal for potential that may or may not be realised. what concerns i have is how the money will be spent? just a honest opinion.
