Lincoln have signed a young Arsenal striker on loan
Could it be Walker is being recalled
?

Let's hope so eh, that'd be logical but if business for club to make. Don't know why he's loaned out right now. Fingers crossed.

I’m generally a glass half full type of fan when it comes to Forest but I’m totally underwhelmed and baffled with who we are being linked with and the players we are signing.

Honestly thought that 4 quality signings added to what we already had from last season would be a great step forward
Cannot understand this scatter gun approach of signing all these players
I think Watson and Dawson and Worrell in the team is a backward step
We are still left with no Right back we might as well kept Osbourne there
As far as a striker we’ll i'm speechless
Can someone tell me where the planning on the field is?
I’m worried again.

1.) 06 Aug 2019 16:49:18
Yes it really is deja vu. Loans free agents and untried foreign players and we're supposed to be going for promotion. Worried we'll be going in the other direction.

2.) 06 Aug 2019 17:45:28
Pure spectaculation but does the big Greek actually have the money for transfers with all the freebies etc?
Our current transfer policy sucks with all the influx of unproven/ unheard of players what does marinakis believe he will get the Premiership with this squad?

3.) 06 Aug 2019 17:54:37
He has the money yes but the question is does he want to invest that in forest which will then have to be wrote off.

4.) 06 Aug 2019 18:08:00
how can you even question whether the owner wants to spend money on forest when he's spending tens of millions of pounds on our ground?

5.) 06 Aug 2019 19:08:37
Nffcc99: because so far not a penny of it has been spent in rebuilding. He won't rebuild unless we look like getting into the top six. My bet is we won't and he'll pack up and go elsewhere.

6.) 06 Aug 2019 19:34:14
I think we've all missed the point about rebuilding the ground. It's part of a larger scheme with apartments etc. I don't believe in the bigger picture it will cost him anything. He will get it back through property sales.

7.) 06 Aug 2019 20:22:02
Nothing has started rebuilding yet not until the end of this season and the boat clubs have yet to move out so give it time we have seen the plans so will have to be patient.

8.) 06 Aug 2019 21:40:53
The ground will be built of that I'm sure, they aren't short of money they are just used to running a club in a Mickey mouse league with very little competition.
Olympiacos also have a large squad and mainly Europe's journeyman and has beens.
They have written off debts but have failed to pay fawaz what they agreed
They need to clear the decks of randall McGovern and Clarke and most importantly the dof.
Bring in people who know the English game who then can appoint the right manager and dof to take us forward.
All we are doing is going around in circles and getting nowhere.

9.) 07 Aug 2019 11:01:48
Fff79 with respect mate are you saying that McGovern and Clarke, don’t know anything about the English game?

10.) 07 Aug 2019 12:27:38
No stevie but they have held positions at first now for years and if they do have any say then they aren't up to much because all we've done is struggle and made poor decisions.
It's time for new blood.

11.) 07 Aug 2019 16:19:13
Watson won’t be in team long, Sow will replace him and once Carvalho is back Silva will move back and fight with Sow and Semedo for midfield place, is also now rumours Colback might be back on. Watson won’t get a look in unless we have major injuries.
Worrall is still learning and can do a job in my eyes though I expect Milosevic and either a new player (we seem to be being linked to Centre backs) or Fig to take long term places as we know Daws won’t stay fit long.
If we sign Colback and this lad from Levante and Samba in goal I think we have a very strong squad with depth, need to move a host of players on (Steele, Pants, Benyoune, Pep, Bridcutt, Clough, Ariyibi, Cummings, Murphy probably some others I forget! ) and sign another quality striker and i will be very happy.

Games went our way tonight still 5 points behind it could have been a lot worse feeling like we’ve been thrown a life line
Let’s get something on Saturday and then the Sheep could still catch up

Anyone knows if the West Ham right back is still on his way to us it all looked nailed on a few days ago but gone very quiet

REDFREDDIE

1.) 01 Jul 2018 17:08:03
If not let’s try for Mario Ferrnandes from CSKA Moscow. Looks a great player 😉

2.) 01 Jul 2018 17:20:12
I think it was a rumour that started in the alleged newspaper called The Sun. So it was more than likely a load of old tosh.

3.) 01 Jul 2018 17:27:56
Apparently as soon as West Ham sign the player they want the deal will happen.

4.) 01 Jul 2018 19:18:01
Which they did Ryan Fredericks from Fulham. That’s why he’s surplus to requirements in the first place

5.) 02 Jul 2018 06:28:47
I think it's because Leeds want him too so he is prob torn where to go

24 Jun 2018 10:10:31

REDFREDDIE

1.) 24 Jun 2018 12:07:04

3.) 24 Jun 2018 15:35:34

Apparently there’s a few clubs queuing up to sign him
Not just Spurs
Amazing how he was written off by other clubs in the Premiership we gave him a chance
Interesting times.

REDFREDDIE

1.) 24 May 2024 13:32:12
Wonder whether he's brought a house in Nottingham, could give a clue if he saw us as long term.
Before end of June, we have to make player sales to keep in ffp, stifles ambition for us, and teams like wolves, villa, Newcastle. I don't know how Bournemouth savive in the premier with ten thousand supporters. and keep there players.

2.) 24 May 2024 19:48:53
I wouldn't be suprised if we don't sell anyone and we just take another hit points wise, and tbh it could be a good shout
Hudson suffered a lot of injuries over the previous years before we signed him, personally I think the lad will stay because he's happy to have got his fitness back and form and playing regular football.

Forest have always been on the smelly end of the stick when it comes to the media and the games establishment refs decisions even before VAR
33 years ago yesterday I was at Wembley when we had the FA cup cheated from us if you want an example of a biased referee look no further than Milford that day
I’m proud to support Forest who have to work a little harder to overcome odds even before we kick off.

REDFREDDIE

1.) 19 May 2024 09:41:36
I don’t think Milford was a cheat Freddie, he was actually a good ref but there is no doubt he bottled it that day and in reality so did forest and so did clough - it was for me the first sign his magic was dying.

I was there too and I remember leaving feeling that Clough was now losing his way, we didn’t really deserve to win that day and it’s was the start of him making some awful decisions. Walker out tiler in, only Teddy out bannister and Rosario in beats that! In hindsight I wish he’d have gone after 91 - I honestly feel the yrs in the grave yard could have been avoided had he have gone then.

He did the club a lot of damage in those last two yrs. All this is said with complete respect for the man - someone who touched many lives with his genius - if only he’d have been in his prime today with a premier league forest - what a thought that is! Love ya Mr clough and hope you and peter have a dugout in heaven, sat together, as it should have always been.

2.) 19 May 2024 10:34:48
If Clough and Taylor were in the dugout watching from heaven they'd be sending lightning bolts down watching some of the crap over the last 2 seasons.

3.) 19 May 2024 20:09:49
2stars walker wanted to test himself in Italy, clough didn’t want him to leave, and sheringham was determined to to go spurs and back to London,

Hi all
Have been on this site for years but haven’t posted for years
I have continued to read all posts with interest
I stopped participating because it started to get a little negative and toxic and a little bit too personal even during the promotion season
People have come and gone
Skegs has always been there but I do enjoy Bowiereds comments at the end of the day we are all Forest fans
The last three seasons including this one have been so much more then we all thought possible only a few seasons ago
You have all vented your frustrations on this site but let’s enjoy the comradeship of supporting this fantastic football club.

REDFREDDIE

1.) 15 Mar 2024 21:17:06

HI all
Haven’t been on the site for ages but I’m often reading all your comments
Was at the match last night and I was very disappointed and annoyed
We didn’t show any ambition to go on and win the game against a very ordinary Villa
We were lucky to get anything out of the game
Last 20 minutes we were looking tired and leggy in midfield why oh why did we not freshen up with new legs we just invited them on to us I personally thought it was only a matter of time that they would score
Johnson might have not been on the pitch and cook to slow and got caught out again
Very un happy
All the best to you all keep the comments coming.

Someone once said 'Rome wasn't built in a day but I wasn't on that job'.
We are definitely work in progress and I believe many players were almost paralyzed with fear, in case they cocked up and we lost again.
All I wanted to see was any kind of progress in performance after Fester. I think we got that but need more improvement against Wolves, as Brighton, Liverpool and Arsenal will provide sterner tests. Keep up your posts REDFREDDIE, as insight from the ground is always appreciated.

Agree Red think Dawson will limp to the end of the season have not been impressed since his return would be a mistake to let Cheema go now.

We all live in hope 79 but you know football there’s been many a flop that’s turned into World beaters and World beaters tuned into flops
I remember a team long ago that became World beaters using cast offs old pros and misfits can’t recall their name
Let’s see what put together at the start of the season

Exactly the point I was trying to make a couple of weeks ago I don’t think that the midfield as it stands today are good enough to bring the best out of the players we have
Still think there’s some more work to be done in the midfield
