Strong rumours tonight that Oscar García is set to sign a three year contract at the CG.
95% of bookmakers now have him at evens.
This is from several news reporters and sports agencies.

He was basically advised to never take a stressful job in management again. He's got health issues and will quit as the club is too stressful. Can just see it now quits before August is out 🌳 No thank you. Foreign coach yes though. Please Stavros and fawaz get this one right.

2.) 30 May 2016 01:34:27
What a bizarre comment! Every management position is stressful! Do you think the powers that be, might have had a look into his medical history? I can guarantee, they will have done more research than you on Wikipedia. Do you know his doctor? Absolute tosh.

3.) 30 May 2016 07:09:08
Herefortheforest what are you on about .
I'm sure the stress that the manager's job cones with is cancelled out by the nice wages and add ons.

Also do you think the stress levels of not having a job and no income are less then having a job with a very nice income? .

4.) 30 May 2016 09:24:05
Supporting Forest is way more stressful than being the Manager!

5.) 30 May 2016 09:46:23
As I understand it Garcia has just won the double with Red Bull Saltzburg in Austria. So therefore they are in the Champions League next season. So why would Garcia want to come to Forest when he can manage a team in the Champions League.

6.) 30 May 2016 10:57:44
Good point Burncross, I would love it if he came to the CG though. I was a bit harsh responding to your comment herefortheforest, long night.

7.) 30 May 2016 13:58:21
Don't worry, the same stringent examinations that fryatt and Wilson were subjected too will be given to our new manager.

No stone will go unturned just as it hasn't previously.

Trust that leaves you all suitably reassured.

8.) 31 May 2016 07:57:42
Burncross, the Austrian league is probably a lower standard than the Championship though right? And wouldn't be surprised if he'd get more money for getting Forest in the Prem than he'd get at Salzburg for getting knocked out the Champs League in the group stages.

9.) 31 May 2016 22:17:16
Never wrong A, I worded the post quite badly and yes I did use Wikipedia to make sure I got some dates correct but not for his medical issues. He was advised to leave Watford after a very short space of time on medical grounds (doctors).

He had previously had a spell which was quite successful at Brighton but stepped down after they lost 4-1 to you know who in the playoffs. Every managerial appointment he has had has lasted no more than a year really whether that be on medical grounds or other grounds.

He was advised to take a break and not take too much stress, naturally after having to quit your job as your doctor told you to and being admitted to hospital. He is a very good however and would like to see him at the CG if he could keep his health in check. More for his personal welfare the forest job is very stressful and for someone with a history of health problems and not lasting long in job I would only question his prospective longevity.

The story about him being advised to step down on medical grounds was well documented and I'm sure the forest hierarchy will know obviously that goes without saying 🌳.

Heard a rumour that Ryan Mendes from Lillle is on his way to sign for us, on a season long loan play's right wing could be a direct replacement for Antonio

Red Tony

1.) 31 Aug 2015 23:53:54
Deal done prior to French window closing

2.) 01 Sep 2015 06:21:45
A right winger is a direct replacement for a player that plays on the left side?

3.) 01 Sep 2015 08:55:45
Why look at wingers when we have no forwards

25 Aug 2015 18:21:48
In the last 30 minutes or so West ham united have bid in the region of £5 million + Matty Jarvis for Forest winger Michail Antonio.

Ok then we have had an explanation of sorts as to why we have not got a CEO as promised, and it remains to be seen as to whether it comes to fruition at in the Summer, but what happened to the DOF, this seems to have slipped quietly by without anyone mentioning it, Fawaz said judge me by my actions and not words, well all that i have seen and heard up to now is a lot of hot air and no action.

Red Tony

1.) 20 Feb 2017 16:56:58
Do we need a DOF? More scope for Fawaz to stick his nose in surely.

Never understood why folk think we need a DOF to progress as a club, when what we actually need is a decent manager.

The pool of decent managers drastically reduces with a DOF dictating how you play and who you get. Nobody in their right mind would walk into Fawaz Forest without their own men.

2.) 20 Feb 2017 20:42:15
A DOF is very much a matter of opinion and mine is that with one the team gets a style of play and if the manager changes the style of football stays the same resulting in the team knowing exactly what they have to do every game, instead of constantly changing the style of play with every new manager.

Well I've just listened to an update by Fawaz re manager, CEO and potential investment and at the end of it he said nothing apart from a desire about wanting to still be chairman in the Prem which imo he is saying that he is going to release his majority interest in the club to someone else, apart from that he said nowt.

Red Tony

1.) 06 May 2016 19:52:09
Fawaz on potential investment:

“I will not put my club to just anybody. I want to do due diligence on who is going to invest and which people I am going to work with.

“You need helpful people with you – people who care about the club how we care about it. This is very important. ”

In other words .

The Greek has found me out and done one.

Why else make a remark about someones suitability? Easiest way out of another failure.

2.) 06 May 2016 20:13:29
No22 😪 😪 😪 fawaz will come good and if he don't tough there's nothing we can do about it without another buyer and that ain't happening and even though this club hasn't been run properly he as time to change that and I believe he will your right though 22 he didn't give a lot away in the interview he didn't promise anything but if he promised us the world you would still slate the bloke 😆😆😆.

3.) 06 May 2016 20:15:05
The Greek who is being investigated for match fixing has found fawaz out? lol.

4.) 06 May 2016 20:34:38
Skeg what if there is another buyer but fawaz plays his games and puts em off?

Hes done this with managers like mccarthy and warnock.

You say he didn't promise the world in the interview but he did when he bought the club.

Hes a joke and he should go.

5.) 06 May 2016 20:39:03
Nice one Skeggs!

6.) 06 May 2016 20:54:31
A perfect example of blind faith from a supporter uptheforest.

It works both ways if you're both telling financial porkies.

Remember the £60 million of made up numbers I mentioned? Spent £180 million! lol.

7.) 06 May 2016 21:05:05
Skegsjay,

With all due respect You don't know who could come and buy the club? No one believed a Greek bloke was going to even look at us last week?

Leicester have done us a right favour because plenty of investors will be looking at football clubs as a great source of dependable business which could potentially go huge if you get promotion.

Leicester have made the dream a reality and there will be a glut of investors seeking to emulate them.

Promotion from the Champ has now been quoted @ £170 million not the usual £100 million!
That figure will continue to rise as FFP continues to pull costs lower.

Can you see a future for football club owners now? Never mind the fact that the world has well over 2000 big ego'd billionaires looking to test their mettle against each other.

Don't judge everyone from your own financial point of view. There is huge potential benefit from owning a club and they are a great dependable asset when financial crashes happen.

They are just about immune to meltdown because suckers like us turn up every week despite not having enough money to put food on the table.

When a stock market goes bang (which it will) you lose the shirt on your back.

8.) 06 May 2016 21:09:50
I was a Fawaz fan boy just like the rest of us. I just decided to call him out on the numbers.

I don't hate anyone, but let's call a pig a pig.

If the fans blindly carried as they have been the club would soon have a 50 million quid loan!
Fans talking about these unacceptable financial arrangement in public forum might just make our errant owner think twice about trying to buy success with more of the fans money.

9.) 06 May 2016 21:16:59
Best thing for you no22 is go and support lester then if this club is being run that bad and you hate the owner so much.
Fawaz is doing this fawaz is doing that without any proper evidence to your claims. its laughable how much your trying to turn us against him. we can form our own opinions and will continue to support fawaz and the club whether you like it or not.

10.) 06 May 2016 21:18:19
He didn't promise the world he just spoke about what he wanted to do, is it his fault that the gullible fans believed it?

11.) 06 May 2016 21:24:38
Well done Skegs totally agree.

12.) 06 May 2016 22:52:15
Can't see FAH persuading anyone to invest when he makes such comments as are quoted in the newspaper, which to me sound as though they are not based in reality. We've heard all the stuff he says before and the club hasn't profited, so I don't see that changing just yet. A good clean break would be better, put the club up for sale and leave.

13.) 06 May 2016 23:35:29
Whos the gullible one now upthefawaz?

14.) 07 May 2016 07:20:17
How am I gullible 1973?

15.) 07 May 2016 09:47:24
Ignoring the financial facts about Forest is like leaving the monthly credit card bill unopened. You know you are in the dodo but not opening the envelope means you can pretend all is well and you can go buy another bauble!

Take hope that investment will find us rather than our Chairman looking in bare cupboards!

America is bust, The oil barons will be bust in 5 years, Europe a basket case. However, the Chinese and Far East are coming. Fear not the City of Nottingham has long standing links with China through the university so its just a matter of time before "King Power2" comes a calling.

Then you can all start opening your statements knowing the bill will get paid!

16.) 07 May 2016 11:27:17
I you and everyone else knows the financial situation but harping on about it trying to get the owner to quit isn't helping anyone. keep pushing and pushing and he might no give a crap who he sells it to.

But they want to be seen with their little green scarves and tops and wave banners irrespective of the fact that what they want is already happening (i bet deep down they feel a little bit cheated that Fawaz is on the brink of selling the club)

I'm sure that the fit and proper test will be a formality, i can't see this having gone this far without someone making sure that it would be passed, and as far as i can see he has never been convicted of anything.

Gary Brazil is a superb youth coach, but he's not a first team manager. With all due respect, Forest shouldn't be conceding five goals to anyone in the Championship, yet this is the second time it's happened with Brazil at the helm.
