Bridcutt to Bolton on loan,

Cummings to Shrewsbury on loan but permanent offer as also been made.

Smith to Hearts on loan approach by them made

Pants to Olympiakos

Yacob to Olympiakos

All in the mix, busy day in the departure lounge today.

1.) 02 Sep 2019 12:01:51
Also Murphy to Bolton.

2.) 02 Sep 2019 12:15:46

3.) 02 Sep 2019 13:07:16
All great news. Need to thin the squad out before any unrest.

07 Aug 2019 22:29:25
We now been linked with a 34 year old free agent striker Maurice Dale looks like a journeyman around the french league. Jesus.

1.) 07 Aug 2019 23:47:05
Typical always signing cheapo foreign strikers who are never good enough! Veldwijk, Vellios, Ansarifard, etc etc.

2.) 08 Aug 2019 00:41:12
I really don’t know why we don’t get Olympiakos to sign someone proper class striker for 15m plus then loan him to us as the owner really wants the prem money, or we takes Olympiakos best striker an give them Murphy lol.

05 Aug 2019 19:04:15
Brice Samba (goalkeeper) having medical tonight or tomorrow before signing for Forest.

Looks like Pantilimon and Steele to leave this week.

1.) 05 Aug 2019 20:11:38
Yes but who would have them.

2.) 05 Aug 2019 21:50:02
Pants is going to olympiacos nailed on.

3.) 05 Aug 2019 22:54:22
If Henderson can get a gig at Palace then you have your answer?
Unfortunately we have people in charge of recruitment who are out of their depth in the Championship and are trying to justify their existence by making changes for change sake?

06 May 2019 10:41:02
Have you seen the new home shirt put on website then removed straight away.

Red with black strips on each shoulder. Sponsor 888 sport.

1.) 07 May 2019 10:57:01
How do i put the screenshot if it on here ,?

{Ed033's Note - go to the Sightings menu tab and use the upload form.

2.) 07 May 2019 14:21:27
Done the screenshot on upload sightings form. Its Appiah that's modelling it.
Dont know if that's the official home shirt for next season and was put on the main website too soon before official reveal. But before it got took down someone got the screenshot.

{Ed033's Note - It's on the Sightings page now, thanks.

3.) 07 May 2019 20:55:01
Don't get the fascination with shirts its what's in them that matters, not exactly a fashion item,I mean, you wouldn't go out for a night dressed that way would you?

4.) 07 May 2019 21:09:51
Fff79 is that cus you can't get them over your red wine belly?

5.) 07 May 2019 22:12:52
No mate I'm not overweight at all, just don't think they are worth more than a tenner and certainly not on fans over 40.
I hear fans saying they aren't the right size and not much material in them, lol they just aren't made for middle aged men.🤔🤔😁😁

6.) 08 May 2019 08:55:58
Ff, What is the saying. Clothes make the man, or the man makes the clothes.

7.) 08 May 2019 14:16:53
That shirt looks s. e.
Hopefully they took it off website because it was the wrong shirt

8.) 08 May 2019 16:38:14
Ff, The club has now cut the replica shirts available for £12, sure you will not begrudge the extra £2 from what you think they are worth. You Club Needs You. 😁

9.) 08 May 2019 17:12:43
LC it's not what you wear, but it's how you wear it, well that's what the missus says when I come downstairs in my mankini.

10.) 08 May 2019 21:04:42
LC I don't wear them I prefer proper shirts and tops, but the price is about what they are worth not the fourty odd quid the new ones will cost.
The club get plenty out of me without me trying to look like a kid again in a replica shirt.
Last one I bought was the inter Milan away strip we had and still got it collecting moth balls along with a few others

11.) 08 May 2019 21:43:30
Yellow man you need to show the world, sounds a bit of a long tale to me.😁😁😁

12.) 09 May 2019 10:14:00
You haven't saw my "Travolta" gear!!!🕺🕺🕺

13.) 09 May 2019 11:15:44
Fff79 I hear the club will be bringing out a range of Cardigans and flasks for old boys at a budget price, 😉

14.) 09 May 2019 14:02:48
1976, Hip flasks nd snuff tins are probably the era Ff comes from. 😁

15.) 09 May 2019 15:33:14
No I like my beer cold LC and can just remember a few oldies at the time who took snuff, don't knock it mate the sixties and seventies were good times and life was a lot simpler and if you wanted to watch football then you had to go.
There weren't cars everywhere in the sixties and early seventies, most people did a five day week and weekends were for family.
I'd go back to those days in an instant, footballers were down to earth and not making fortunes and played because they genuinely enjoyed playing.
Still enjoy life now my friend, but it's all at a faster pace

16.) 10 May 2019 12:17:58
Forest have just launched a new range of branded violins as part of a season card offer in the new stand for all you oldies who like to reminisce so you can all sit together in the corner!

Although my age qualifies me for a seat I shall not be taking up the offer as I'm looking forward to the continued progress made by the owner and staff next season and joining the bugle brigade in the box seats!

This week of incredible football games clearly demonstrate the power of fan atmosphere in driving on the team to victory. Although the atmosphere has improved at the City Ground this season the old insecurities still get transmitted to the pitch as soon as things do not go according to plan on the pitch.

Time for everyone to step up to the plate or hang up their season ticket cards if they cannot pump up the volume!

17.) 11 May 2019 11:20:54
That looks very similar to the 94 kit. So if you want to save some money and have a 94 shirt (that still fits) just cut the collar off. No one will notice. Perhaps.

31 Jan 2019 16:03:49
Mo Barrow is on the radar again .

06 Aug 2019 16:14:13
Naki Wells available for 2.5m, surely that's someone we should be looking at bringing in.

1.) 06 Aug 2019 16:40:31
Can he play in goal?

2.) 06 Aug 2019 16:48:37
Decent record for bradford and huddersfield but not done much for burnley or qpr where he was on loan last season. rather have him that mendy though.

3.) 06 Aug 2019 16:56:43
I heard he likes to play deep.

4.) 06 Aug 2019 18:30:59
Nakki Wells has no pace and is not a link up striker. Exactly what we do not need!

5.) 06 Aug 2019 19:15:58
At present we have 6 goalkeepers. We could just play them all in goal and 5 lads in front of them, that way we might get a few points?

03 Aug 2019 23:38:09
Jesus the striker position is a huge problem, how lazy is Grabban?
We going no where this season.

1.) 04 Aug 2019 06:01:52
Would you rather have a shame long type player who runs his nuts off but scores about 3 a season or grabban who score 15-20?
Don’t get me wrong I like Shane long and what he does but scoring isn’t his best asset whereas grabbans is.

2.) 04 Aug 2019 10:12:24
To be fair Grabban was bullied and out muscled by the centre back. He’s never going to thrive as a lone man even in a 433 formation with Adomah and Lolley in support.

30 Jun 2019 09:41:55
Yesterdays pre season friendly told us one thing that Joe Worrall is garbage, his performance and huge error for there goal was awful.
The game was played in 30c at a slow pace with regular water breaks.

First half
Brennan Johnson, Appiah and Richardson looked very good with some very good touches.
Johnson didn't put a foot wrong.
Dawson was strong and steady at the back, no nonsence lesson from him.
Grabban missed 3 good chances but the Alfreton centre half was excellent and made it hard work for Grabban.
Yacob was effortlessly as def mid with simple play that works, no fancy stuff in the heat.

Second half
Mixture of standouts
Sammy was quality driving forward, switching flanks absolute rocket that shook the Alfreton crossbar and about snapped it. Quality run and pass for Karims tap in.
Karim played well and produced a couple of decent saves from Alfreton goalkeeper.
Benny drove forward and a nice free kick went just wide from him.
Murphy held up play well but no end product.
Ben Watson played centre back and his passing was dreadful, he could have took a lesson from Alfreton centre back and all i can say to mr Watson is if you are one of the trouble maker players getting managers sacked, just listen to Martin o Neil becouse he's right you are NOT good enough.

1.) 30 Jun 2019 18:36:32
I'm saying that about Watson since he signed for us the guy is horrendously s***e, no pace, no power, zero football, no end product, can't head the ball, cannot pass the ball forward, no addition at all on any level, and too make it worse has an opinion of himself since the FA cup goal for Wigan 👎👎👎👎 he is dirt.

2.) 30 Jun 2019 19:18:38
Only negative is the fact we still only managed 2 goals against alfreton no disrespect to them but hardly same level of competition we are going to be up against.

3.) 30 Jun 2019 19:37:24
It was only a friendly Dan. Result not important just about getting players fit.

4.) 30 Jun 2019 19:44:30
You shouldn't take anything away from it. First game of pre-season = means absolutely nothing!

28 Jun 2019 22:19:48
So all these people saying they don't need there season tickets now, I know people who will accept them for free from you.

All talk about they won't be using them, well prove it.

1.) 28 Jun 2019 22:40:14
Anyone will take any thing for free, how would you feel if like 2 star youd bought six?

2.) 29 Jun 2019 01:00:16
I’d only buy anything if I wanted it - if I was daft enough to think things wouldn’t change over a year or a season I shouldn’t buy it.
Buy a season ticket and support all year or pay as you go and pick and choose when you can. Both real supporters but some don’t moan.

3.) 29 Jun 2019 07:50:03
Who said you’re not a real supporter if you pay as you choose?

19 Jun 2019 15:32:16
Championship fixtures are out tonight to the teams with public reveal at 9am tomorrow (Thursday 20th)
And also league cup draw tomorrow night at 7pm.

Lets play guess the fixtures for key matches.
I predict the following

First league game of the season
Away v Charlton.

Boxing Day
Home v Leeds.

Last game of season
Home v Luton

The Derby games
Home 3rd weekend of September
Away 2nd weekend of March

What do you all predict?

1.) 19 Jun 2019 17:16:38
Darren mate cant think of a more futile exercise.

2.) 19 Jun 2019 18:35:07

3.) 19 Jun 2019 20:08:32
It would probably be more interesting rogie!

4.) 20 Jun 2019 09:54:03
I reckon first home game vs WBA (H), boxing day vs Hull (A), last game vs Stoke (H) and the Derby games will be on November 9th (H) and April 4th (A)

Im sure he'll want the £800,000 player signing on fee and the £28,000 a week wages that's been offered,

Money and Spain or Nottingham? He needs to really think this one through don't he?

Karanka had his day at Middlesbrough, he won't repeat what he did there . His 4-2-3-1 formation as been found out and will produce more draws then anything . he's a mid table manager.
