I find it interesting how we chased big Dio the whole summer, clearly our new manager didn't do his homework on a certain young Brazilian lad. Nice one Jair.🌳

On the left wing-back position (or lack of wing-backs generally.

"He has registered five goal contributions in 20 Serie A appearances so far, and ranks highly for several key metrics among his fellow full-backs.

Cuiabano is in the 89th percentile for assists per 90 (0.25), 94th percentile for line-breaking passes per 90 (4.71) and 87th percentile for chances created per 90 (1.74).

He is also in the 96th percentile for duels won per 90 (8.74), 94th percentile for aerial duels won per 90 (2.36) and 95th percentile for defensive contributions per 90 (9.55).

The Forest loanee has been one of the best players in his position in his respective league, and it surely makes sense for Glasner to offer him a chance to impress when he returns to the club in January."

Interesting post Cyclist. However, I strongly advise against posting facts and stats on here mate, it only causes alarm and despondency amongst some.😂😇.

Massive mistake letting Bakwa and Hutchinson go out on loan imo it makes us one dimensional with only CHO left in the squad as a winger

Munoz not cutting it imo and Williams being played out of position every game with Aina and Netz not getting a look in.

Agree with all that Munmad. It would be nice to have attacking options but OG is inflexible imo. We looked threatening with CHO on chasing it against Arsenal. Plus Hutch and Bakwa are doing very well for their loan clubs.
Lack of joined up thinking when replacing VP.

I pose the question once again mate. If the answer is Kalimuendo, what's the question?

The Glasner deal must have been sorted well before the end of the season because Vitor was told the club wold give him a much deserved new contract for this season. What a way to treat a top manager who had just saved us from relegation and got us playing good attacking football and scoring goals, remember them Reds, goals. Glasner nor any other manager was required because we had the best manager for many years already in place and raring to go this season.

Marinakis should put his hands up and admit what a giant booby he made, and an even bigger financial one. Just thought I would mention it, there is an excellent manager out there wanting a job in the prem right now, his name is Vitor Pereira. U REDS.

Exactly. It's so obviously true.

I totally agree with this, even though some say OG needs time. If OG is given more time I can only see Forest being cut adrift at the bottom of the table. We can't keep playing the current system.

Mr M, please eat a huge piece of humble pie, speak to VP NOW, apologise and let's see Forest climb the table.

To sack OG would be yet another nail in our poor club's coffin. The rest of the football league would ridicule us. Who in their right mind would come to replace him - in your dreams would he come back !

Now today, a back 5 was an absolute shoe in against the second place side. Forest stifled Arsenal completely that they had no shots on our goal. The second half was the same. However they could bring on Maduke, but he only breached Forest's defence by a deflection.

Unlucky I would say. Yes we had opportunities to score. You could not complain about Delap who ran and ran. In fact none of players played badly. Hudson Odoi seems to offer more than Ndoye at least today. No one would have predicted a win and we deserved a draw.
OG absolutely needs till Christmas. ATM the side doesn't click but you can only hope the players don't loose heart or a belief in him.

Whilst i agree with many of your points, who cares what other clubs think? One thing I've always loved about Millwall is their total lack of giving monkeys what others think about them. The "everybody hates us chant" is class. 🌳.

Reading the Murillo interview, he said it's taking time to adapt to a new system, but every week there's progress. Sacking Glasner now would cause more upevil, so long as the players are buying into Glasner give it time, and review end of January when the league table will give a better understanding of our position and a few others who have had underwhelming starts.

People ridiculing a club are not nails in it's coffin. I couldn't care less.

The ridiculous thing is having a manager who always plays with wing backs and only having one on your squad. If that isn't dumb then I don't know what is.

So Forest under 21s beaten at Notts County tonight, 5-1 score! Did they play 3 at the back? Was OG in the dug out?
I'm predicting MGW and Williams to leave in January, and Forest to be relegated unless they either change the system or the head coach!

Just for the record, I hope I'm wrong about OG and I repeat I always support the incumbent Forest manage r. But if OG continues to fail, it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that Mr M could call on VP to bail us out again.

After all he employed him at Forest despite sacking him just after he'd won the Greek League and Cup double with Olympiakos. The only thing that's predictable about our Glorious Leader is his unpredictably.

Schlager worked his socks off, but very little help from Mekacupatee! Free transfer for Schlager who is quality, are there any more available?

Just a point on the MU V SPURS game, what was Martinez doing at the end! Not looking at the ball that was crossed in, just holding onto Solanki! Poor.

RUMOURS:

Sunderland and Nottingham Forest have Red Bull Salzburg's Karim Konaté on their radar and the Premier League duo join Borussia Dortmund in the transfer pursuit. Konaté has scored 47 goals and contributed 13 assists from 99 matches, of which six goals and an assist are from this season.

Fenerbahçe left back Archie Brown is reportedly back under consideration, and Forest are said to be preparing an offer worth about £13 million.

Nottingham Forest favourites to sign Tyler Morton in January. Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness, speaking to Football Insider, believes Forest are currently ahead of Newcastle in the race for the Lyon midfielder if a move develops in January. At 23, Morton is young enough to grow with the side but has already experienced senior football in England and France.

His passing and calmness could bring a different rhythm to Glasner's midfield, while regular minutes at the City Ground may be easier to offer than at St James' Park.

Archie Brown looks a good player, tbh I'd never heard of him until i watch him play vs Lyon in the Champions League play off games. Impressive performances for him. 🌳.

13 Oct 2026 12:37:23
All three of the above would be handy. Morton wouldn't take up a squad place as he's still a "youth" player.

I'm sure we need a left sided CD as cover as well. Murillo looks off the pace and we don't have anyone else to play that position.

Morton does look decent, similar to McAtee but naturally plays a little deeper. I did suggest we go after him when he left Liverpool, but obviously Edu wasn't listening to me🤦.
Honestly don't know anything about the lad from RB Salzburg, Austrian league is not on my radar. And have only watched Brown a couple of times, apparently he a regular scorer in the Turkish league as well as in Europe.

Great energy and pace from the full back position.
As for a left sided CB.time to cash in on Murillo? Maybe unless he gets back to the player he was a season or so ago, injuries seem to have set him back and if 70-80 million was on the table now, im sure we'd snap their hands off. 🌳.
