What do we want Bergvall for from a team that almost got relegated last season? Forget players from other Premier League clubs. Logically, why would they sell them if they were that good? Let's keep signing from abroad. There's a wealth of talent out there and they cost less. That's what we have scouts for!

Apparently Ousman Diamonde is in talk's with Leeds as Forest are hesitant on the fee.
Leeds's prepared to offer the full asking price.

It's an auction, and, as any auction, you need to set a target that is valuable. If the price goes up like Bergval, it's time to strike elsewhere.

Why does it take us so long to complete deals we seem to have been haggling with Sporting over 5m worth of add ons. Meanwhile Leeds have marched in and offered them more.

We seem to be linked to a lot of Right Backs atm Read Dodo etc, but no LB’s apart from Oso from Seville which seems to have gone quiet.

If Mateta wants to come to Forest, get the signing done. Proven at this level. Then we can have Woody as an option and not rely on him for goals.

OK, I'll stick my neck out. If we sign Diomande, Forest will have the best defence in the Prem, assuming no serious injuries.

By that I don't mean concedes the least (depends also on system etc.), but I mean that their contribution to the team and way they compliment each other will be as good as anyone in the Prem.
