Will there be a deal done today for a point a peace, in today's corrupt game of football nothing surprises me any more, I'm sure its been done before. But will a point each help either side, is it enough especially for Forest, I'm not sure it is, after Luton's loss yesterday 3 points for either side will be invaluable. After watching the FA cup semi final yesterday, i'm afraid we won't see any points coming from our last two home games, Sheffield U will be gone so that will give them a free hit at Forest, with no pressure, and Burnley seem to be on a bit of a roll, and its not a place that Forest get much joy anyway, worrying times. So come on Forest, go for it, let's get the 3 points today.

I’d take a draw today Dream. It will be a tough game but with Luton’s result yesterday it would be an inch further in our crawl to safety.
Everton can’t play as badly as they did in midweek, Pickford especially looked awful. He’s made a few mistakes now for Everton and England in the friendlies but you just know he will shine against us.
I think it will be decided long before we play Burnley last game. Sheffield Utd and Chelsea ( for different reasons ) may well be on the beach by then, Chelsea are immensely talented, young ( and expensive) but can be flakey under pressure especially away from home.
We will probably get nothing from Man City but the other relegation teams have much more difficult run ins.
Anyway, one game at a time. A win today gives us breathing space and may well be enough with goal difference and points appeal to come.
Watching it on Sky but feel as tense as if I was at the game ……?????.

Now the tinted glasses brigade might realise that this Forest squad of no premiership experience apart from woods boly just can't hack it. To many youngsters in the team all at the same time, relying on to many inconsistent youngsters, just won't work. Unfortunately they are our better players, so nothing we can do about it, but expecting them to live in the premiership with a starting lineup including seven inexperienced under twenty four year olds was crazy, only Woods of the other players has any premier experience.

Expecting this side to be any better than it is, ie, struggling, is unrealistic. IF a miracle does happen and we manage to stay up, then given another year these young lads will be very good for Forest, BUT staying up or going down we will lose some of them. How many young players do you see introduced to the better sides at one go, one possibility two at most also alongside better players than we have. Expectations have been far too high from a lot of you on here all season.

Take those tinted glasses off, and look around at what we have, be realistic, Wolves were no great shakes today, and we couldn't beat them, will playing away at Everton, Sheffield, and Burnley be any easier, NO, realistically 3 points, Man City, Chelsea, realistically 3 points at best. I will genuinely HOPE for better, but my eyes are open.

Plain fact is but for the points deduction we would be just about safe now, and that’s all I was hoping for in this 2nd season,

2.) 14 Apr 2024 10:17:54
But we have got a points deduction, and we ain’t safe are we.

Does anyone really think that Forest will get anything against Tottenham tomorrow, forget that freak first half against Fulham, we played out of our skin, does anyone think that we will repeat that performance again against Spurs, I'd love to think so but any sane person see that happening. The truth is, after today's results we are back in the sh- again, a loss against Spurs and the win against Fulham means diddly squat. The game against Wolves has now become a must win game for me. I'm afraid this season is going to go to the wire. Is anyone really confident that Forest can go to Sheffield and Burnley, and come back with more than a draw from each game. Yes I'm full of dome and gloom but I'm also realistic. I'm afraid that the points deduction for Everton and what happens with Forests appeal will make the difference weather Forest stay up or return to the championship, Luton will just not go away. They are the Forest of last season.

Seen to many David and Goliath matches in my time, yes it's real toughie, but you give it a go giving 100%. Support vital today, it can be done, hook by crook, luck, whatever we must be a team. Good luck today.

2.) 07 Apr 2024 09:42:02
Dreamon, How can you not be confident that we will get something from the game later?
I really don't get it at all, yes we destroyed them first half, however we dug in when it mattered in the second half to secure our victory, I for one am expecting more of the same later, that's all we can ask for.
FTID!

Sorry lads, but I've said it on here before and I'll say it again now, THIS SQUAD just ain't up to it, consistently. How many of this squad/ team consistently scores or averages at 5/ 6 or above in the stats after games, take Morillo, Mgw and Williams of late out of it, NOT MANY, in fact I would say none.

It's supposed to be a team game. How can a team play well enough to win games when over three quarters of the side are not consistently playing well enough and scoring less than an average of five, it's pathetic. Add that to the stupid mistakes made all over the pitch, I've no need to mention them, you've all seen them happening all season long, and it seems its impossible for the players to cut them out, you can't blame Mr Cooper or Nuno for the mistakes made by the players, they're not the ones leaving players unmarked at the far post and missing all the chances, and don't tell me the players are not being told about all this. , game after game, the truth is they can't cut the mistakes out. They're not GOOD ENOUGH.

If we are relegated this season, in my opinion it's definitely down to the players and not either of the two decent coaches we've had. The chances have been there for us to be in a comfortable position in this League, The early season game's we gave away under Mr Cooper at home to Luton and the rest, and now under Nuno, Brighton, Luton again, need I go on, a half decent side would have been able to take advantage of these teams. These players got Cooper sacked and if he's not careful, Nuno will go the same way.

Don't be so quick to blame the coaches for this rubbish, it's purely because of the players. There is skill in this squad, but it has never shown itself as a team. I'm sorry to say, it NEVER Will. ?? oh well, back on the ????????. Rant over.

The squad might not be good enough, but it’s better than Luton s, and a coaches decision has almost certainly had a major effect On the final score, but of course highly paid professionals footballers need to take their share of the blame,

2.) 17 Mar 2024 14:29:17
I watched the City / Newcastle match after watching the re-run of the Forest game. Ok it was a Cup game but like our school days English lessons : COMPARE and CONTRAST! We are in the same division, but there was a huge gulf in well, everything.

3.) 17 Mar 2024 15:45:29
I posted on here some time ago but got derided by some posters that we have a very divided dressing room.
I think the evidence of this is now easy to see.
Very little togetherness being showed on the pitch IMO.
CARLO.

4.) 17 Mar 2024 16:21:00
Everyone for themselves now Carlo there all thinking where there going to end up next season.

5.) 17 Mar 2024 17:19:45
Stevie f it wasn’t the coaches decision to leave two players unmarked at the far post, that's just pathetic play, Fillipe was brought on to stop that from happening, the goal was purely down to to pathetic marking by players who no better but didn’t do it. Yes Nuno made some strange substitutions but can’t be blamed for that.

6.) 17 Mar 2024 18:16:33
Dreamon it was the coaches fault I didn't win the lottery last night.

7.) 17 Mar 2024 19:38:40
I hear you skegsjay.

8.) 17 Mar 2024 19:55:47
Dreamon yes I think I pointed that out at the end of my post,

9.) 17 Mar 2024 19:56:24
Skegs nah that’d be coopers fault,

10.) 17 Mar 2024 22:01:31
Why skeggs didn't the coach turn up on time or was it parked?

09 Mar 2024 14:12:19
Does anyone else have the same view as me, that maybe the reason why we have not given Rayner more minutes on the pitch is because we have not got a option to bye and he'll only get in if MGW gets injured.

Like Santos from Chelsea, maybe very good players. But if the coach don't want them, it can cause more problems than it solves.

Carlo, man, come on, commitment, what commitment have we shown to stop loosing games, there’s a difference to commitment and just trying, what commitment did we show away to Fulham ??‍?. Yes slight improvement in style, but quality, Fulham at home first half, yes, now that was quality, but where’s it been, and where’s it gone again. ? As for pitting ourselves against the top team's, 3 games come to mind Newcastle and Man U possibly Chelsea, as for the rest and the other magnificent sides in this premiership ??, how have we done against them. It’s been great being back in the premiership, something I thought that i'd never see again, but to be perfectly honest, Forest or Mr M have spent loads of dosh, and overall are still crap. Now the supporters are having to pay, but ay ho ain’t that what football is all about these days especially in this country, and not just football, this country is, or has gone, down the pan, Come back Mr Clough as prime minister, if only. ✌️✌️??.

Sorry skegs I don’t see it as a point gained mate, but two points lost in a very winnable game against a very ordinary side, at home, tells me Forest are very, very ordinary, or put another way, not good enough. I always hope for great results, even against Man City, but I’m afraid my head is ruling my hart this season, two wins this years, now we are hoping for two wins in five games.
I’ll keep hoping, but realistically just can’t see us getting the points. A hell of a lot resting on the Everton game now.
Relying on two many young inexperienced players too fight a relegation battle, but as I’ve said before, the young uns are the best we have.
