I think Karanka needs a new goalie on loan in January as Pants does not fill me with confidence! Surely one of the 3 England keepers at Burnley would be available and we can then send young Jordan out on loan. Not sure if we have used up our loan allocation although I don't think we need them all.

I’d like us to get rid first then bring in if we can. Top target has to be a left back. I think Robinson has been doing a good job but I personally see him as more of a central defender or on the left side of a three than a left back. I don’t think he’s as suited to going forward as our right backs.

2.) 15 Nov 2018 11:11:32
I think Robinson puts in some great crosses when he gets forward. They are nearly all put in the danger zone.
Trouble is we only have one forward in there and he isn't particularly good in the air. This often makes the cross look poor.

3.) 15 Nov 2018 15:17:55
Are we watching the same player, Floresta?? Robinson is decent going forward and puts in some cracking deliveries.

4.) 15 Nov 2018 20:13:55
Best we've had for along time and even scored from a corner,he'll do for me.

Karanka has some big decisions to make this Summer. We can't afford to have our most valuable players e. g. Worrall, Brereton and Osborn on the subs bench. If they are not good enough for a regular start every week then surely we could use the cash for Osborn to buy a quality GK LB CB etc and loan out Brereton and Worrall to a team like Peterborough and get in Marriott and Maddison. I certainly wouldn't want us to sell Ben or Joe as another year playing regularly will only see them improve but I can't see them getting regular game time at Forest.

Exactly f78. I for one won’t be happy if they play every week based on last season performances. I haven’t brought a Season ticket to watch Brereton need 10 chances to score . We need goals and lots of em!

2.) 29 May 2018 08:29:03
2star Forest do need to score lots of goals, that would be brilliant, the entertainment, it helps with goal difference, there would be a full City Ground every home game, creating a atmosphere that would unnerve a lot of teams.

Forest also need to play as a team so they will not concede too often, there is definitely a lot to be worked on over the summer.

3.) 29 May 2018 09:05:51
Who cares what the football is like as long as we reach the promised land,I honestly would take 1-0 every week, for club our size we must be playing in the premier league.
Sell Osborne, keep Ben and Joe but send em out on loan to league 1,spend Osborne's cash on a decent keeper.

4.) 29 May 2018 10:47:36
AK had decided who he wanted in his team long before the season finished. Just a question now of getting the deals over the line after June 30th. His biggest job is to offload all the ones he doesn't want to play for Forest, and that will take more than 1 transfer window. Rebuilding the club is going to take a lot longer than some on here think.

5.) 29 May 2018 12:49:55
Daz No. 9, i think you will find 2star's point is two fold, the first being we concede so many, even under Karanka who is considered Mr Defensive therefore we need to start scoring plenty of goals, secondly although i think most would take winning 1-0 every game, we, in an ideal world want to be thrilled with plenty of goals in the for column.

What is wrong with that?

6.) 29 May 2018 15:24:40
Personally I do care what the football is like!

I don’t want us to become a hoof ball club, or a dull as dishwater 1-0 grinding out games club. I want entertaining and attractive football.

If that means it takes us longer to get to the promised land then so be it

7.) 29 May 2018 16:09:56
RAP, or you could look at it like this: To get out of the Championship we Win at all costs, be it 1-0 wins, or hoof ball if need be. Once promotion has been gained then, in theory we can then afford the players that are capable of playing entertaining football. Sadly more and more managers are becoming possession is king, even if it is for the sake of it so even then will we get entertainment.

8.) 29 May 2018 16:33:02
I’d still rather we stuck to our philosophy and played attractive football, maybe that’s just me.

As Sir Brian said, “ if God had wanted us to play football in the clouds, he’d have put grass on them”

9.) 29 May 2018 18:40:30
Phil, I don’t disagree with the sentiments , when though did we last play good football? Ps anyone else spot win at all costs sneaky self publicising moment in his post ? I like it pal! 👍

10.) 29 May 2018 19:43:32
What is forest’s philosophy?
So Phil if it was a choice of playing good attacking football and staying in the championship or not so good football and winning 1-0 and going up you would choose to stay in the championship?
you’d rather see teams like Ipswich and Brentford coming to the city ground than Man City and Man U?
Utter madnesss

11.) 29 May 2018 20:54:55
Yes, I’d much rather we stay in the championship rather than play hoof ball to get promoted, then get battered week in and week out because we weren’t good enough.

Far better to build a good football playing side who could at least survive in the Premier league, and not just do a Derby

12.) 29 May 2018 21:08:59
It’s good to be entertained but I’ll settle for competitive as that would be an improvement. God we’ve seen some dross of late haven’t we!

13.) 29 May 2018 23:42:59
I'm with you red army,I like to be entertained and wolves and Fulham have proved you can be succesfull by doing so.
Always prefer a manager to let the players go out and express themselves and let the opposition worry about us.

Last time we played really entertaining football? was under pshyco until Cohen assombologa and Reid got injured, with Antonio and lansbury that was a good side.
Injuries wrecked what could have been a successful side.

14.) 30 May 2018 06:35:19
That’s true FF

15.) 30 May 2018 09:43:04
I’ve agreed with 2 far and ff799 👍 something must be happening behind the scenes!! Has my water been tampered with, have the Russians been messing with my social media or is the real red army gathering force?? I’ll know somethings wrong when skeggy gets me to give prince billy the thumbs up and he declares he’s off the Stella 🍻

Arvin Appiah's new contact may be the best deal we do in January. Now give him some proper game time. Surely Arvin or Gomis should at least be on the bench every game as their pace for the last 20 minutes or so will frighten defenders. We need more pace in the team.

Forest78

1.) 23 Jan 2019 11:49:26
Both need to play 78 Gomis for Murphy and Appiah for Cash.
.
The futures bright the futures the acadamey

2.) 23 Jan 2019 12:08:19
Really hope they get their chance, look at Clark at Leeds,he’s doing alright!! If your good enough your old enough.

3.) 23 Jan 2019 17:37:28
The tradition at Forest, however, seems to be to loan them out to Division 1 or 2 teams.

4.) 24 Jan 2019 09:47:43
Virgin gnomes looks good for the u23s Def needs a chance 🤩🤩🤩

5.) 24 Jan 2019 18:08:10
Thought all gnomes were virgins, not seen them getting up to much in my garden.🤣🤣🤣

In the January transfer market especially after the Arsenal game there was talk of big offers for Brereton and Worrall. If in the Summer we got offered 10m + for either or both of them do you think Karanka would accept such offers? Does he see them as first team players or with 20m + in the bank would he be better off reinvesting in the whole team and buying Colback, Tomlin, Fig and a few more? What do you think?

Forest78

1.) 14 Mar 2018 17:32:38
That's a tough one , £20 mills a big pot to invest with, I think AK would spend it wisely and bring in some quality so I think yes take the money .

2.) 14 Mar 2018 17:46:21
Snap their hands off!

3.) 15 Mar 2018 10:54:35
Don’t think we will get those sort of offers. Worrall has been dropped and showed he has much to learn still and though Ben has played a lot his goals to games is poor again showing these players aren’t going to be able to walk into PL. You don’t pay that sort of money on players who might never make it. 5m offers will be max at moment and personally I would keep both and build them over the summer to have major involvement next season as we push for playoffs and promotion!

Hi guys, 1st post. Great game yesterday. Let's hope we can resist all the offers that come in for Brereton from the premier league vultures. "One man and his dog went to mow a meadow, one man and his dog Lichaj is a God".

Nice one Forest78, I think you'll fit in just fine on here.👍👏

2.) 08 Jan 2018 09:33:58
Well done Gary and the players, fantastic result and was a great game to watch.

So many strong performances all over the pitch, Cash down the right is so much better and young Ben put in a performance way beyond his years, amazing calm and finish for his penalty, a belter.

Other than the fumble for their 2nd goal thought Smith was imense in goal again today, distribution was far better than the Leeds game.

Feel this is some payback for all the loyal fans, well deserved all round Forest.

If they go for Marriott we should go for Vydra. He is proven in the Championship assuming we can afford his wages.
