Forest looking to complete three deals before transfer window slams shut.

A new number one GK is being sought to provide a step up from Mats Sels. Giorgi Mamardashvili has been linked but it is thought this might be a smokescreen. If this deal is not possible, the backup is Aaron Ramsdale from Southampton, having been loaned to Newcastle last season.



After Armstrong deal collapsed, the new CM targeted to replace Anderson is Hugo Larsson from Eintract Frankfurt.

Lastly, Forest are back in for Dodo and are confident in getting this over the line before the deadline.

Rumor:

Forest are at the front of a long queue for Casado from Barca (Spanish international).

This caught my eye as he is a CM and a RB. If Williams left, we need both a midfielder and a WB.

They were also talking to Andre for Corinthians. But they often take a year to settle after moving from South America, and I think Corinthians want him to stay until the end of the Brazil season in December.

On Harrison Armstrong:

"The Everton boss had a message for the club’s supporters too amid some dissatisfaction expressed in the stands, including chants of “don’t sell Armstrong”.

“If I could say something to them, I’d say their manager is an Evertonian,” Moyes said.

“You always have to consider supporters,” he continued when asked about the possibility of Armstrong leaving upsetting the supporters. “They’re not always wrong.

“But then there’s also times where unfortunately I’ve had people at clubs who are really powerful and make difficult decisions. Decisions that are not always popular but sometimes they have to do it for different reasons.

“I’m sure the club will make what they think is the right one.”

Right, just watched Glasner's press conference. He clearly said, definitely 1 more, almost certainly two and probably three more signings.

He also clearly said when asked about Kalimuendo and Hutchinson not being involved, that the same number will be leaving.

Munoz is superb. I only hope Williams and Aina also stay. Love those guys. I think he is eyeing up a striker, as then Wood can go. Don't know anything about the Everton lad in truth.

I got home today after a month or so there. I had no delays whatsoever. My Mum said it took a long time to get through the airport on the way home. Maybe the family queue is quicker. Some people are having to stop to supply fingerprints, but nobody I've seen did.

Harrison Armstrong is being touted as the next Anderson. Big, skilful, energetic, good passer, comfortable on the ball. Had loans at Derby and Preston. Liverpool lad, lots of potential.
