Football, what a brilliant game.
11 v 11, best team wins or admirable draw.
Promotion, relegation, European qualification all decided after 38 games (PL) not 1 or 2.
We are where we are due to luck, poor judgement, poor officiating, poor business sense, poor defending, poor finishing but conversely some good football.
I cannot effect most of the above, bar occasional tickets and club shop purchases.
But I'm invested, Forest are my club, I want more. I'll take the flack and abuse everytime just for those days of glory. However fleeting they are.
So come what may, I'm Forest, win lose or draw, PL or Championship bring it. Always FTID.

Back to back promotions. Big congratulations to them. And Birmingham relegated. I'm glad they've gone down after sacking Eustace who got them to 6th after the first 10 or so games to get a bigger name but terrible coach in Rayne Wooney. They then fell like a lead balloon (not a red one, though).
Reminiscent of Forest sacking O'Driscoll after beating Leeds 4-2 on a particular Boxing Day years ago. And that didn't end well either.

VAR strikes again at Arsenal. Goal disallowed for a 'foul' on the keeper. VAR totally ignoring the pull on Billing just before the 'touch' on Raya. Top 6 team usually gets the nod.

Ref reviewed on pitch side monitor. We weren't worthy of that consideration. That's my biggest gripe. One ref, the rest are to assist him, including VAR.

If MGW is on song today ( hopefully turning the magic on as he was on loan there ) we should be OK. Need Wood to put his nightmare misses behind him and bag a couple, if we get the ball into him enough he'll score. Also agree Toffolo should start, the kind of game he will thrive in. If CHO and Elanga start, when running at them just keep going don't stop, pass back and lose momentum. Wish Heggybottom was still there, so we could rub his nose in it especially after the way he threw the ball at Spence ( what a banker). Also I can still see MGW when he played against us for them, they or he scored, just his face I wanted to smack him one, if he scores today I'll forgive him. It would also be ironic if Brereton scored, but not Jack Robinson he also acted like a moron when he played against us in the play offs, so someone make sure they take him out. Also I can't stand the blades, being so close to Nottingham, never liked em, love beating em. So COYR let's smash the that's.

Ok 2 big tests today comrades.
Firstly, on a personal level, I will have to exercise supreme self discipline, as, owing to the vagaries of my Yorkshire contacts I'm obliged to sit with the Blades supporters! ????
Secondly, especially after Luton Everton result last night, this could be a season defining turning point. A win ( and defeat against Newcastle for Burnley) and the other 2 relegation scrappers are on the back foot, potentially 3 and 5 points behind going into difficult fixtures next weekend. It doesn't matter if it's a spawny one nil to us, the goal going in off Woodys ar"e, as Luton and Burnley are unlikely to overturn 9 and 12, goals difference.
The lads should be up for it but it won't be easy as this is NFFC we are taking about. they should be mentally demoralised but their ex Reds will have a point to prove. Plus, they don't like us much.
For me, 4231 with Yates and Dominquez ( if fit) in front of the back 4 ( Montiel Boly, Murillo and Aina perhaps Toffolo instead of Montiel and swap Aina to the other side).
Elanga and CHO supporting Woody, MGW pulling the strings?
Dont care really just ride out the storm and save the season! Coyr!

Nice ground, nice pitch Bramall Lane, I played there in a U19 schools' international in the early 1980s but I dislike Sheff Utd more than Derby (always preferred Sheff Weds). We will get called scabs and a lot worse - cauldron of abuse. If the coaching team select Danilo in another away fixture and believe he will turn up they should think again - unfortunately the lad has demonstrated he is not up to it yet. If his name is on the team sheet I'll go and cut the grass or something as we can't beat that lot with 10 men! I won't say hope he proves me wrong because he's had enough chances to. I believe we will finish 4th from bottom and survive. COYR.

The best thing about Blades fans shouting 'scabs' is that most of them don't even know what a 'scab' actually is and why they call it us in the first place. One of my cousins has got a few kids with a Blades fan and she's quite proud of the fact she taught an 8 year-old to call Forest fans 'scabs'. Not being terribly bright she failed to realise that her Dad was a miner that continued to work during the strikes. I remember telling her that she's a terrible parent, a thick c**t and the joke's on her.

Whoever is on the team sheet or on the bench let's hope they give the fans what they ALL deserve we need Psycho in the changing room to tell them who and what they are playing for a club with history and the best fans ever go out there and compete and never give up. Going to be an interesting game today. They absolutely hate us and will do anything to see us dragged down with them. Expect a full on onslaught from them, it’s how we respond that matters. If ever there was a game to play for the shirt then that is today. A draw isn’t good enough I’m afraid. But with our pathetic away form I think that’s about the most we can hope for.

Problem for me is that we tend to rise to the top 5/ 6 teams and play out of our usual comfort zone for part of it. Against the lower teams we need to have a bit of nous and 2nd guess them tactically. Come on Nuno, all that experience man. Has to be today!

He has got a point, Bowie. When teams are already relegated they do play with no pressure and lots of freedom. We've got to be on it from the first whistle and LEARN TO FINISH. We can create chances like we've shown against the likes City, United, Liverpool and the like but we just haven't put the buggers away.
